Last night was among the best I have ever had in my entire life. Honestly, I lost count of how many times we went but it was a lot.
Right now, I have showered and dressed for the day. I walk over to the cabinet above the sink that holds the cleaning products and get out the disinfectant wipes.
Oreo and Tanker walks up to me, where I open the back door for them in the fenced in area to do their business. That was nice to see Tanker curled up with Oreo and Fluffier on the overly large dog bed in the corner of the living room when I stepped out between rounds to get us a drink while Samantha cleaned herself up some.
Samantha is still in bed and fast asleep. I made sure to cover her back up this morning and kiss her head before I showered.
I get the kitchen counter cleaned off and walk to the bedroom, where she is still asleep but now clinging to the pillow I slept on. A smile spreads over my face seeing how angelic she seems like this.
Part of me wonders if it was fate somehow that she was the one in clinic and not Jovi or Lola, the night Tanker got attacked by Jermey. I am so incredibly grateful though with how she watched over Tanker that night. Something felt right being around her from the first time I spoke with her in person.
My chest gets a quick pain through it with the thought of leaving her. My work though has me traveling and it is only just recently I have been getting jobs around this area. Most of the time it has been down south or out west I have been. Thing is I don't want to be away from her for even a few days at a time.
What could this mean though? Maybe I didn't think this through with wanting a relationship with Samantha. I know she has trust issues so the last thing I want to do it hurt her by being gone so much, but she also knows what I do from the very beginning.
I could try and see what there is for driving around Blue Sky's more. There is many farmers around the around and other towns. I know they put ads in constantly wanting drivers, because they need grain haulers or other things.
Once I finish cleaning the surfaces in the bedroom, I put the cleaning things back up and wash my hands. With that done, I see what she bought for breakfast and get to cooking. Samantha deserves a breakfast in bed, if I can get this all done in time.
I wonder though if I could build a reputation with the farmers and locals around Blue Sky's even if is a couple hours away. Just things I can do up with contracts and still work but be in a actual home every night.
Could I even be getting ahead of myself? This is something I really do need to speak with Samantha on. Because she may not be ready for us to be a close couple like that. I am not talking about moving in together this soon but I could get a place around.
Even if is something she is not ready for, I could still find a place and not be on the open road. At some point I would like to buy a house with a lot of land.
"Good morning." I turn when Samantha's soft voice brings me out of my thoughts.
"Good morning, little paws. I was hoping for a breakfast in bed." I smile and walk over to kiss her lips.
"You seemed out of it even though you were moving to cook. I didn't want to touch you until you heard me." She smiles and sits on the bar stool at the counter.
"Yeah just thinking of the future." I nod. "Thank you for wanting to make sure I had your attention. I don't think I would hurt you with my mind in a good place and not anything from the past."
Samantha nods. "There is some things to discuss about the future and what our future could mean."
I finish up cooking and place the food on the plates. "A sausage and egg biscuit with extra cheese." I smirk.
Samantha rubs her hands together with a wide smile. "Thank you."
I place my plate down and she moans with the first bite of food. I get instantly hard and it hurts a little with how fast it happens and presses on my zipper. I readjust myself and take a drink of the coffee.
"So about the future. What has you thinking so hard?" She looks up to me.
I tell her what has been on my mind this morning while we eat. She nods and listens never once stopping me to complain or say it is crazy.
"Honestly, Shane I do like how you're thinking and to me it is not to quick. If you wanted you could move in here with me." Samantha smiles.
"Really?" I am taking back by how she is so calm and seems to want to move quickly, when I didn't even mention it but did about say about my own place.
"Yes, everything has been fast between us but we just know. Right now though you have no where to go other than a hotel when you're around here and I don't want to be away from you when I don't have to be. I am serious when I say that I love you. I know this house is on the small side and I have some land but it isn't even a full two acres here."
"What would you say if I bought a large house with land for the both of us?" I change my words and ask her about it like that.
"I would love it, but I also want to help pay for it since it would be for us." She smirks. "How long do you think it would take to get more jobs around to where you would be a home every night thing and not over the road?"
"That is the thing, I don't kow. It really depends on locals and farmers that are within a specific miles radius that I could have contracts with. Then it is the matter of getting a new trailer but I would need a grain hauler or something like a flat bed depending on what work I can get."
Samantha nods. "I am all for it Shane, if this is what you truly want to do. I love you and there isn't time on love, but I am lucky to have found you."
She gets up and sits in my lap, I kiss her lips tenderly before pulling back. "I love you so much, little paws."
