TALIA'S POV
I sit on my chair close to my bed with my eyes closed and legs crossed.
Glass of wine in hand, my thoughts drift off.
Since the incident some weeks ago at the public restaurant with Jayson's new interest, I've actually being low key, not wanting to attract any attention as I've not being in bars, clubs or my usual hang out spots.
Well, I've been planning my next move.
The door to my dimly lit bedroom opens and Ivy walks in.
"Hey cunt, why are you still chilling alone? Come out let's go have fun." She says coming to sit beside me on my bed.
My close ally and bitch, she's the one I can rely on for any of my moves alongside my gang.
Making herself at home already, she takes the wine bottle and sips straight from it without even looking for a glass cup.
I scoffs and watch as she presses away at her phone and I finally ask her coldly, "Did you get everything."
"Yeah of course, don't you trust me." She replies.
"Well give me the deets, everything, I don't want any important thing to be left out."
"She's not based here in LA, but actually in Orlando where she runs her business, and damn it Talia, she's fucking rich, like stinking rich."
"Wow!" That's all I say, as I tell her continue.
'Is Jayson after her because of a business deal, her money or what? Well that's their business, cause no one is taking my baby away from me' I think to myself.
"She owns a boutique, I also have all her addresses, both home and office and I can email them to you, maybe later, and lest I forget her full name is Cherry Collins."
I smile evilly, as I taste her name on my lips, "Cherry Collins, wow just wow." I say as I think to myself, 'How sweet, ripe Cherry is messing with my man, even having the guts and effontry to slap me in public. Well you are definitely going to get your ass whipped.'
Smirking I take a cigarette from my bed side and light it up, dumping some ash on my ashtray nearby, puffing the smoke and inhaling it, I come alive as I hear Ivy ask me, "So how are you dealing with her? Do you need the boys or what?"
"No, no, I don't, I'll definitely take care of this myself. No one touches what's mine and go scot free. Get me my equipment and gun, help me pack and arrange my stuffs, I'll be leaving for Orlando, first thing tommorow morning." I say and Ivy looks at me crazily and raises her eyebrows.
Oh! Here we go again, I know she's about to say something that I wouldn't like to hear, but I let her anyway.
"Why are you still fighting for Jayson, even when you know he's not interested in you anymore. Will you go on hurting innocent girls just because of him? I mean come on girl, there are many more bigger, fatter and lovely fishes in the river, have your pick." She says and I give her a hard stare making her taking her eyes of mine immediately.
"Go and get my things ready, and stop saying rubbish, I have to and I'm going to get him at all cost."
