(SEMI FINAL)
JAYSON'S POV
She fires the shot, the gun pointed straight at me, and I close my eyes waiting for the bullet to hit me, but nothing does.
I'm numb, as I wait for the sharp bullet to pierce into my skin, but nothing does and that's when I hear the noise.
Cherry's scream and that's when I realize what just happened, as I open my eyes and come to see the shock of my life.
I see Cherry in a pool of her blood her flowery scarf, filled with blood that's currently spilling out.
"No!" I scream, tuning the world out as I fall to my knees helplessly besides her, cradling her stained and limp body in my arms.
"Cherry, please don’t go, don't leave me." I beg, shaking her furiously praying for a miracle to happen, and that's when I hear Talia's voice behind me.
I'm so going to kill her today, I think my eyes turning red, "Well, she's such a beautiful defender, all in the name of love. I intended killing you dick, but she saved you, or I dont know if my hand shifted and mistakenly it hit her, but here you have it." She says laughing evilly and I turn to face her, when suddenly I hear sirens.
I hear ambulance wailing in the distance, and that's when I see police cars pulling up at the beach as I hear a police officer shout with a microphone, "Put your gown, Miss Talia and put your hands on your head."
Who alerted them here, did she turn herself in? I ask, but I don't think so, became she looks so confused and scared and I don't even pity her, she deserve more, and I'm going to use all my influence, and power to make sure she rots in jail
I'm still confused, when suddenly I look up and see Jeanne looking at me and the current lifeless body on my arms in shock.
She gasps, and starts crying profusely, "What happened, oh my God! Cherry please don't leave us."
"Call the ambulance, Jeanne." I yell at her, amidst the noise as Talia is cuffed and carted away.
"They are already on their way here." She says and in no time the sounds of ambulance fills the air, as small droplets of rain starts falling.
I carry Cherry up, heart beating frantically to the opening ambulance, not even waiting for any assistance, as I lay her on the bed in the van and sit beside her.
Jeanne climbs in and the door closes, as we move speedily.
"Please, don't leave me Cherry." I whisper to myself and to no one in particular.

We are at the emergency room, in the VIP section at the hospital, and I can't even sit as I walk around, pacing frantically.
Jeanne is sitting down though, crying profusely, and I go to comfort her a little bit, and stand again, pacing as we wait for the doctor to come out from the operating room.
The nurses come and meet me, offering me fresh new clothes to change into, as my clothes are currently stained with blood, but I refuse them, I don't care as right now, the blood are what I have of Cherry and I'm not ready to wash it off yet.
All I want now, is for Cherry to wake up so I can kiss her and apologize and be next to her, nothing more, nothing less.

Some Minutes Later
The doctor comes out of the operating room, looking moody and I don't want to hear what comes out of his lips, but I just have too.
Rushing to his side, I and Jeanne ask him in unison, "How's she? Can we see her?"
The doctor keeps mum, not saying anything as he keeps shaking his head slowly, and I mentally and physically scream at him, "Answer me doctor, where is my wife?"
"I'm so sorry, we tried our best." He says removing his stained hand gloves.
"What do you man by you tried your best, can you tell us what going on? Is my best friend okay?" Jeanne asks, and I inwardly thank her for asking, cause at the moment I'm already becoming numb, as I sense a bad news but I shake the thought out of my head.
'She's alright, my Cher' is alright, the mother of my unborn kids is safe.' I constantly keep reminding myself, and that's when I hear what the doctor say and I almost faint.
"Mister Jayson and Miss Jeanne, you see we tried out best in the operation room, and we successfully removed the bullet from her chest, bity she was brought here late and had already lost a good amount of blood so......" He says and I interrupts.
"Do you guys need blood, check if mine is compatible, I'll gladly donate everything to her, where are the nurses, let them come and do their job." I say, stretching out my blood stained arms.
"Calm down, Mister Jayson, I'm sorry we lost her, there was nothing we could do about it."
I hear him say, and I hear a deafening scream from Jeanne who collapses to the floor in sobs, and I become a ghost, coming and going out of the scene.
I'm not the same, and I know I'll never be the same again.
