JAYSON'S POV (CONTINUED)
The music changes to a much slower one, and she doesn't stop as we keep dancing and memories start coming in.
All the times we spent together the past ten years, the memories of friendship and unrequited love comes flowing and the atmosphere changes as I can feel something electric about to happen.
I love her so much, and I don't know about her, but I'm not letting her go this time.
Spinning her round and slowly, I catch her by the waist and pull her close to myself, and she rests her hands on my chest and looks up at me, those gorgeous eyes piercing into my soul.
I look down at her, and my gaze slides down to her lips.
Oh God! I pray she doesn't push me, as I lean forward to do the unimaginable, and she closes her eyes and I take that as an approval.
I can feel her low breaths, the bridge of her nose touching mine and I rub it slowly, I use my hands to straighten her brows and finally go in for the kill, opening my lips, when suddenly I hear a slight cough and someone clearing his/her throat.
Freezing, Cherry opens her eyes staring at me in shock and we both turn to see the source and fuck!
If it's not Jeanne, it would be who!
'Oh Jeanne! How is she here, she's supposed to be in.... Or wait! Did she play a prank on us? Well it all seems pointless now because she just ruined this moment.
Pulling out of my embrace Cherry runs to hug her like a little kid who just saw his mom, and my heart pinches.
It's not like I'm jealous or anything, I just wish she can reciprocate this kind of act with me, with the same happy and loving look on her face.
Well, everything takes time.
I watch as they talk, greet and I see as Cherry collects her things, checking her up and down and doing only God knows what.
Finally she asks what has being on my mind, "Jeanne I miss you you know, but what are you doing here? I thought you were supposed to be in....." She doesn't complete the sentence though, because Jeanne interrupts, "Just forget about that."
Winking she continues, "You guys are really, really, really getting along, I can see that." Looking at me she gives me a thumbs up and I just laugh, God she's so mischievous, how did Cher' keep up with her for so long.
Walking closer to me, she hugs me, and whispers in my ears, "Well done my boy, Mama taught you well ehh."
I gaze at Cherry who's staring at us and as she sees me looking, she quickly drops her gaze to the floor.
Well, here we go again.
She's now shy.
Back to square one.

JEANNE'S POV
Oh my God! I really love what I saw when I came in surprisingly.
While outside, and hearing the songs blasting so loudly from the speakers, I was shocked because that character is unlike Cherry, who loves everywhere silent.
Due to the noise, they did not even notice when I came in, and I watched them dancing together for a minute or two before interrupting and the shock on their face was so heavenly and I felt Jayson shooting daggers at me but I did not care, at least my plan is working out fruitfully.
Cherry clears her throat as I hug Jayson and I chuckle, 'Is she jealous or what? Well whatever.'
"I'm not forgetting about anything, why are you back early, so the time you called you were already in Orlando right?" She asks me curtly and sharply, arms akimbo as usual, a posture she does anytime she wants the truth, and well that's what I'm going to give her.
"If you really want to know, I never left Orlando, I was actually staying at a hotel just nearby. I wanted you guys to be together and have some time to sort things out and with what I'm seeing, I think my plan was somehow successful or...?" I pause as I wait for her response and her reaction is priceless.
"What!!! Are you crazy?" She asks me and I burst into fits of laughter as Jayson just smiles, he never knew of this plan of mine, but I think he likes it.
"You must be kidding me. I'm so going to kill you today." She says and moves towards me, and I make a dash for the stairs because I know what she’s going to do, and she doesn't stop but follows me to.
Oh God! I'm so dead for today.

JAYSON'S POV
I laugh as I watch Cherry chase after Jeanne as they banter and play like little kids.
Oh when did I feel this happy or calm in years.
Sighing I pick up the bowl of Ice cream Cherry had dropped earlier and I pick the spoon and dip inside to have a taste.
Yum! It's so good, even though it's not chilled yet, it still tastes so good.
Picking my phone, I check some schedules and continue digging on the ice-cream.
Now I can leave for LA in peace knowing that Cherry has forgiven me, even though I don't want to go, but my life is basically IN LA, my business, my family and many other important things, not that she's less important, but if we are going to keep being together, which I'm sure we'll be, I'm going to do everything to be closer to her.
I'm not leaving my Cher' again, she's here to stay, not only in my heart, but in my life forever too.
