Nothing hurts the world

Not even the struggle

I was hung on his shoulders as I weight nothing, only a piece of meat to him.
"Put me down! Will you?" I shouted, but the man with determination in his eyes didn't listen to me.
We were not in the big airport in the city, instead, it was a private one.

And I hated his guts! He was treating me as I were an object to him. How can he be so heartless?
I glared at him, hard enough to let him know that I am still a woman who has the power to do anything according to her will. However, he cannot see my deadly stare, not at least now!
Then I realised it was his private airport. How much rich is he?
He has everything with him, money power and respect?? We'll he is receiving respect after our scandal started.
A lot of people are reviewing him now based on his association with a girl who belongs to roads.

Doesn't he know that it is inappropriate to ask girls such questions!
Then he let out a breath that he was held for too long "what do you wear stones?"
Okay, that is enough of him to insult me on my weight.
I punched him on his back. His hard stoned back like iron and cold.
He flinched for a moment then his hold tightens on me. "Do not punch me again, otherwise," he stopped.
"Otherwise what Mr Jensen?"
He dropped me onto the ground and with a thud, I fell on the floor while hurting my head.
"You can walk from here, and if you didn't move within seconds, you know what I can do!"
His private jet was there in all his glory shining like an armour of night and my heart skipped a beat to see its beauty.
But I was afraid of height. I am that bird who wants to fly but was afraid of the height of the sky, its depths of power.
He started climbing stairs and got inside his jet. While I was still admiring its beauty.
But when it was on the verge of starting I got up anyhow with the help of the pole that was near to me.
I adjusted my clothes. I was looking like a homeless person. My hair was in a bun and my clothes were covered in the dirt too.
However, I need to run very fast. And at that time I forgot about my fear, about my life and everything. The biggest obstacle and fear was ahead of me. If I didn't catch up with him now then it will be too late.
"I am coming," I shouted on top of my lungs while gasping for fresh air.
"Great. So now you are here, I would insist you check all the safety measures before we can take off!"
It was luxurious inside, well furnished with all the vintage things. I Think he exclusively made it customised with the designers and maybe he is very fond of vintage too which is quite opposite of his personality.
"Are you done ogling Ms Brooke?" He coughed, staring at me all along with his pointed keen eyes. Then smirked, "have not seen such a well-furnished interior before?" His eyes were raised in pride and at that moment I realised he was not only a jerk but a penniless creature too who is very proud of his wealth.
"Yes. Now I cannot even stare at where ever I want when I have perfectly fine eyes?"
What's his problem?? He deserves a slap on his face and of course all the insult on his name.
However, this is not the right time to pursue my revenge I will do that when the times come to defeat him!
We were in the air in a second and I started sweating again. Maybe I was an illusion when I thought that I have overcome my fear of height.
I started shaking and fidgeting at the same time and then my head started roaming in all directions making me more anxious about my fear, everything appears black around me then I felt nothing.
I heard panting voices near me.
"Wake up Ashely, please, " a failed voice erupted in my ears and a blurry face was near me.

It went black again.
A slight gleam illuminated my thoughts when I opened my eyes again.
Mr Jensen was at a respectable distance from me.
"Ah! Finally, you woke up! Now, hurry soon we are about to land within minutes." He declared while reading newspapers. I wasn't able to see his face. He was reading New York Times as always in his firmed state.
I know he cannot show such endless which I have heard before when I was not in the condition to sit right.

"Mr Jensen, did you say something to me when I passed out?" I asked
With caution, I couldn't ask him directly.
" No, Nothing. And why would I?" He announced in his firm tone making me lose my mind again.
If he wasn't the man who showed his care for me then who was he?
But when I looked from here to there I found no one. Not even a soul to whom I could talk some same words.
Maybe I was hallucinating due to my anxiety.
The announcement came that we are going to land in ten seconds, so it was admirable to hear the words which I wanted to hear for too long.
But for some reason, my stomach started somersaulting and in the process, I didn't realise when I started screaming as I want to save my life.
"For heaven's sake, Ashley, Shut up!" I heard his hard voice but I wasn't able to control myself from not screaming that's why I went on screaming like a child I am.
My eyes went closed then I feel something over my lips. His cold hand was covering my mouth to let me get silent.
And I have no idea what came over me when I bit his hand.

"Ouch! Are you mad?" Before he could say something mean to insult me on purpose an announcement came once again telling us that we have arrived into the great London.
When I think about London, I always remember its castles and the greatest Architecture throughout the world.
New York City and London have nothing in common except for tall buildings and yes, there is one more thing, my life was a slave in New York, my life as a slave in London too.
In minutes we were outside.
When he saw paparazzi waiting for him to capture his presence in their country.
He came near to me and whispered huskily in my ears," why are you looking like an ape of the jungle,"
Oh because you had to act as a stone head bastard! Without giving me enough time to get ready, even if it is to be at nowhere.

So, I, Ashley Brooke, gathered the courage, grabbed him by his collars and tiptoed to match the level of his height.
