For the whole night, I couldn't sleep. I was struggling to make myself comfortable enough at the beginning of my new life.
The ceiling above was old, making me realize when things get old, it becomes more confident but when the heart grows old it becomes a stagnant deed in the name of affection.

I woke up when I heard the sound of the doorbell. It kept ringing and ringing without giving me a second to think.
The weather was dictating to me that a storm is about to come. Even though it made me shiver through fear.
The banging on the door started heavily.
It was 5'o clock in the morning. Even the sun was afraid to come out and shine bright in the sky when I was feeling attacked.
Who are they?
Thieves?
But why?
I haven't anything precious with me except my mother. Well, she is invaluable.
Then who are they?
Why I am not able to sleep peacefully in my own house?
I tried to not respond and was about to sleep again, but then nothing happens according to me, so it became louder.
I stood up, my socks were missing, and the floor was cold as ice. My whole body was shaking due to the cold. Therefore, I took one blanket and wrapped it around me.
"Coming," I shouted, or at least I tried to shout but my voice came more like a whisper.
I opened the door and saw a black car on the road.
"Ms Brooke?" A man in black, whose face wasn't even clear to my eyes was ready to open the door.
Who was he?
A bodyguard?
A servant?
All of my doubts thrift away, when I saw him opening the door for me.
What the hell is happening in my life? Who the hell is he? And why this car is here? Why he is opening the door for me?
When I didn't move even an inch from my position, my cell phone started ringing giving me goosebumps all over again.
It was an unknown number, and I was anxious to pick up the phone. First of all, it's so early in the morning and a second thing is an unknown number that was thriving in my mind for all the loopholes of my life.
But curiosity is the thing that has killed many humans before and is in the process to kill me too that's why I have to be brave enough and answer the call, to answer that unknown person.
"Hello?" My voice was shaky due to the anxiety that was forming in my life again.
"Ms Brooke, get in the car right now!" And then the call went off.
I gathered enough strength to stand still, subtly hold my posture and then with my shaky legs I went near the car.
I took a seat on the shotgun and found Mr Jensen burning his stare on my head.
If he was the one who was calling then he should have called from his phone number rather than an unknown number.
He was wearing a royal blue suit and black sunglasses to cover his eyes.
Why he is covering his eyes now?
Is he afraid to let me glance into his eyes?
"We are going to London," he said, oh wait, he didn't utter it acceptably instead he gritted his teeth, clenched his jaw, and held the steering wheel until all the veins in his hand bulged out from the pressure.
"But my mother-?"
He didn't let me complete the sentence, and started bickering again," I have taken care of your mother," his jaw clenched again while uttering the mother word.
"And how Mr Jensen?" I raised my eyebrows and gave him a look, a look which could tell him that he is a disgusted man, with no respect for anyone, not for any women, especially for mothers of this world.
"I have already assigned a nurse to your mother, and she will be here soon." He cleared in his robotic tone.
What's wrong with him?
Has something happened to him?
And are we going to London for business purposes or does he has something in his mind?
He didn't answer, didn't even look at me, instead he started driving his car.
Inside, my heart was thumping in my chest, maybe my anxiety was getting worse day by day.
Outside everything was indifferent. Mr Jensen was not in the mood to talk, his eyes were straight on the road. His knuckles were turning hard from the force he was applying, blood was pumping throughout his body, making his face shine, even more, when the sun started shining brightly in the sky.
And his face was not cold anymore, it converted into crystals, I saw his face shining as he was the only source of shine into the earth.
And I looked outside the window, to feel the shine on me. A slight hint of heat in the cold weather where snow was covering the road, and a touch of sun's burn was melting the snow.
Ah! For some reason, I didn't feel as I was not in the home with my mother, for some reason, I felt as this is my home.
Sudden adrenaline rushed into me and my eyes went closed for a duration of time.
For the first time in my life, I felt as I am something in my life, not the one of whom anyone can take advantage of.
"You are not here to sleep. Wake up right now!" I heard Mr Jensen's voice, his hard and cold voice was enough to slice my heart through the knife.
My eyes were open in a second, to have a look at him, and crossed my arms to tell him that he can shut up now.
"What is your problem?" I was furious with his behaviour. The way he was behaving with me. I remembered about Mr Steward, the way he treated him and accused him.
I should have a word with Mr Steward. He is the only one who can help me out and ease me with untidiness.
The car stopped, there was silence between us. However, I was able to hear his hard breathing. It was hard for me to comprehend in the silence with him in the same room.
He didn't utter a word, I looked outside and found the airport.
Shit!
I am scared of height. How am I going to explain to him that I am scared and can't stand to the height?
He adjusted his seat belt and with a click, he unlocked it.
Then he went out and started talking to someone by using his cell phone.
He didn't wait for me while taking an entrance into the airport.
And I was all lost in my head due to a phobia of height. I was shaking, from head to toe. I cannot do this! Let him go and do whatever he wants. I will go by road if that is possible in any case.
"Are you coming or not? Or should I drag you out by myself???" I heard his voice again, he was near the window, liking inside with his keen eyes though he still have his sunglasses on.
"I-I can't!" I shuttered through my shaky voice.
"What do you mean?" He took out his sunglasses to have a look at me. To know why I am behaving like a brat?
"No, I cannot. You go, I will come by road," I wasn't thinking sane, just the hint of height was making me nervous.
"Are you mad?? You can not go to London by road, damn it! Then he slammed his punched his car in anger.
" listen, Ms Brooke, I don't have enough time to waste, if you didn't move your ass right now, I will do it myself!"
What was he saying?
I am not going anywhere, what if I fall from the height then what will happen?
Before I could do or say anything, I felt his hands over my body and in just a second he hung me around his shoulder one hand was on my ass and the other was resting shamelessly in the air.
"I don't prefer to waste my time. Ms Brooke."
