CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE
Elisse gasped, waking up and breathed unevenly as soon as someone's hands gripped around her neck making her out of breath. Trying to yank away, it was useless as she looked at someone hovering her to see him.
The man hovering her was on verge of tears while Elisse was out of breath. He tightened his grip around her neck and gritted his teeth in anger.
"J-Jimin." Elisse stuttered, struggling underneath him, choking out for some air. “You’re Jimin, right?”
"It's because of you!" He hissed as droplets of his tears fell down on her face.
Jimin is crying. My Jimin is crying.
"Because of you, she would be stuck in this damn fucking mess!"
Elisse's lips parted trying to get some air but his grip was too tight she could barely breathe. "W-What are you talking about?"
"I planned to make you kill her since I couldn't because she's my soulmate and then make her alive again."
What? Who is he talking about? Who is Jimin's soulmate?
Elisse was confused. Her hands found its way to his forearms trying to jerk it away. "Let go of m-me!"
"I planned on making her one of us, a vampire, but then you failed your mission. Might as well die!" He growled, crying out and added. "Because of you, Ha Na is now going to have a messed up life."
What is Jimin talking about?
"You should've killed her back then so that I could atleast protect her as my soulmate! And now, she's stuck in this stupid love story!"
What? Ha Na is Jimin's soulmate?
"P-Please let me go!" She begged, tears are now rolling down her eyes as well. Her face was covered with redness and warmth from having the lack of oxygen.
"You could of have saved her." Jimin cried out. Tears fell down his cheeks making her heart breaks.
Elisse just stared at him and her hands was too weak to fight him. She finally gave up. For him. She started to wonder why would Jimin save her yesterday-in front of everyone. And now he's going to kill her?
I love you...
She wanted to tell him that but now...it seems that she can't anymore. Jimin was determined to kill her. If she will loss her consciousness then he'll bleed her to death. That's the only way to kill a vampire right? Other than the silver blade.
If that's what he wants, she will do what he says...because she loves him.
She managed to love how his hands are on her skin, how she loved those soft plump lips collided with her skin. And those sharp teeth that marked her as his—she doesn't know why she had those feelings for him. Is it because of the marking bond? Maybe she managed to like him for no reason even with those events of him hurting her. Even thinking about it, she couldn't die yet. Not if Ha Na is still in the hands of these monsters.
Please help me. Namjoon. Anyone.
"Namjoon Hyung..." Taehyung's voice echoed Namjoon's ears making him stopped from his tracks. He turned around to look at Taehyung who was walking towards him with a smug look on his face making Namjoon confused.
"Thank you for influencing me back then." Taehyung said, chuckling a bit.
"What are you talking about Taehyung?" Namjoon raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"You told me to steal her away from her lover before, remember?" Namjoon raised an eyebrow and eyes widened when he finally remembered his own words that time.
It was still clear on his mind.
[flashback]
"Even with what you witnessed last night, I see that you still care about her." Namjoon chuckled at Taehyung who was blushing furiously.
"Don't be disappointed." Namjoon patted his shoulder, trying to comfort him.
"If you want her, get her and steal her away from her lover."
[end]
Namjoon wasn't expecting for Taehyung to do something beyond his imaginations.
"Taehyung you didn't—" But Namjoon was interrupted by him.
"I did." Taehyung's lips curved into a smirk. Namjoon's brows knitted together.
"He was very weak in front of me, Hyung." He chuckled with an evil tone. "He couldn't fight off a King who is far more powerful than him."
"You—" Namjoon trailed off, his eyes widened in disbelief. "Taehyung...what have you done exactly?"
Then Taehyung suddenly laughed, gripping his stomach. Tears formed his eyes as if telling Namjoon that he was too happy like a psychotic person he is.
"I killed her lover, Hyung. I killed Yoongi."
Namjoon froze, thinking. Taehyung shouldn't have done that. He closed his eyes, unable to believe any of his words and images started to appear on his mind. Hence, he was the only one who can see someone's destiny and it seemed that Taehyung will be ruined one day.
The path to their destiny is now turning around. Probably giving more chance for Jimin to interrupt their love story. Taehyung could've just shut up and let the fate works. But Namjoon knowing him, Taehyung is an impatient man.
Did I make a mistake? Namjoon thought.
"Taehyung! I didn't mean for you to—"
"But I did, hyung. That was the only way to make her mine." He frowned. "Didn't you also want this, Hyung? Yoongi was on the way and to clear that path, I had to kill him."
"But Taehyung—“
"And I'm going to kill those who will come between us...even your girl, Hyung. Tell her to be careful from now on."
Namjoon's lips parted in horror and pressed into thin line, seeing another images set on his mind if he were to intervene.
No—Not her. I have to protect her this time too.
