MIN HA NA’S POINT OF VIEW
Panic filled my mind as soon as the man came barging inside the room who has his eyebrows lifted up in anger and veins from the temporal popping out. His eyes were red—anger. That man was a vampire?
It was him.
It was the man who touched me. The man who almost did something unethical to me. That immoral asshole.
My lips parted and let out laboured, uneven breath with my body trembling so uncontrollably.
"Ha Na..." His voice trailed off with his eyes getting darker by seconds. Literally darker. The eyes where you could see lust and anger mixing together in one color. His lips opened slightly, revealing his fangs making me even more tremble.
Walking towards me, an electric feeling were sent down to my spine as I stepped back with every steps he takes forward. He is the King?
I couldn't believe my eyes. The only person who Jin and Jimin—the Dukes, would fear is only the King. And looking at the situation, they must've been referring to him.
Kim Taehyung? Or perhaps, I'm wrong, right? There is no way.
"Don't even think of getting away from me, Ha Na." He growled with his sharp eyes burning a hole through my body and in an instant, my body collided on a soft sheet making me whimper.
He was already hovering me making me yelped and attempted to escape but his hands were already pinning my wrist above my head on the bed. His next move made me whimper as his lips found its way to mine. I kept on resisting from his kiss but the more that I did, the more he deepened the kiss.
He is way too strong and I couldn't even fight off. My mind went crazy for a second. How am I supposed to react in this situation? I don't want this. I never wanted this. He pulled away, breathing heavily as his eyes got even more darker by seconds.
"I want you." his voice got huskier as he said those words again. His lips then travelled to my collarbone, sucking and nibbling on it making my breathe hitched. He started kissing my neck and could feel his hot air, hitting the flesh of my skin. I winced when I felt a sharp teeth on the side of my neck.
No—No. I internally screamed.
"S-Stop!" I yelped and tried to slapped him away but he just continue to suck my neck as if he was doing something to make me his.
His lips snuck all the way to my lips again and pressed it but eventually avoided it by turning my head to the side. I could see from my side vision that he was gritting his teeth and was breathing heavily as if he's gonna burst into a monster in any minute now. No. He is a monster already.
"Kiss me back, Ha Na!" He hissed and shot me a sharp look as my lips started to tremble. He was about to bring his lips back to mine but I faced the other way.
"P-Please...don’t." I stuttered out of fear and pressing my lips into thin line, hoping he would not be able to kiss me. I jerked away but it was useless because every time I do so, I would just wince in pain. His grip is too tight.
"D-Don't do this to me please." My heart shattered at the thought of being taken away. Of being marked by him. It hurt me knowing that I am weak enough.
For a few seconds, he didn't do anything and I even dared to look at him again. His eyes were getting calmer as he looked at me who was trembling under him. His grip were loosening on my wrist and a sigh left his lips. He may have loosened his grip on my wrist, it wasn't enough for my strength to fight him off.
There was a long pause and we just stayed in the same position for about 30 seconds. He just stared at me as if scanning the inner me.
"You," He started to talk and a sad tone was present in his voice. I didn't budge in my position, looking at his eyes that got teary, the color has changed into yellowish. "Why can't I read your mind?"
"Wha—" His weight, that is now above me, interrupted. I gasped when his body rested on top of me. He is quite heavy for a fragile girl like me.
"You are my soulmate..." I heard mutter, interlocking both our hands that is still pinning above my head. "But why can't I read your thoughts?"
I didn't say anything. I just laid there frozen with him on top of me. His arms made its way to my waist and wrapped it around, squeezing it making me cringe . He lowered himself a little bit and snuggled on my stomach.
This man...he was the one who almost harassed me and kidnapped me inside the palace, if he is the king, but why do I feel pity towards him?
"D-Don't leave me. Don't fall in love with someone else. Don't go looking for someone else. Look only for me, my Queen." His voice cracked making my heart breaks and cringe at the same time. I don't know why but it just did. A tear rolled down my cheeks and sigh heavily.
"W-Why are you doing this to me then?" I asked, raising an eyebrow when I heard soft sniffles on my chest.
"I wasn't myself back t-then. I'm sorry that I almost hurt you." the way he delivered those words struck my heart as if there was sincerity in it.
Nodding, I decided to change the topic. "Are y-you really the King?"
He nodded and hummed in response making me took a deep breath. I wasn't expecting for him to answer that.
"T-Then...why are you doing this to me?" There was a heavy sigh followed as I could feel his weight got lifted off on my stomach and glance at him who crawled to face me. He looked at me in the eyes, leaning on his elbows and hands tucked my hair behind.
"You made me do this, love. You gave me no choice. This is the only thing I can do to protect you and that is to make you mine, mark you as my person." He answered lazily and snicked his arms around my waist again, snuggling his face on the crook of my neck.
"Let's do this sometimes. I love it when you're in my arms." He honestly said before doozing off to sleep while I just stayed there, unable to move from his tight grip.
Bullshit, I can't even escape in the hands of a Duke. How much more to a King?
I couldn't escape at all.
