CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
MIN HA NA’S POV
All I could ever think was to escape the stifling grasp of this situation. My eyes snapped at the direction of the door, revealing Jin with his red face and neck, veins popping out from the temporal down to the side of his neck. Eyes were bulging from anger, he was panting and his teeth gritted in anger.
His eyes immediately fell to my figure who was vulnerably shaking from fear. Then to Jimin who was standing there. I couldn't help but burst in tears again and closed my eyes, gripping the edge of my dressed tightly.
"What happened?" I heard Jin's voice snarled.
"I don't know..." Jimin softly replied giving me shivers down to my spine. I felt myself quiver.
I felt disgusted just by hearing his voice. And I know that Jin was able to hear my thoughts about Jimin. I looked at him in the eyes, pleading in my mind—wanting him to hear me. My lips pressed into thin line as tears fell down my cheeks.
Please...get me out of here. Away from Jimin.
His eyes softened and calmed. He didn't hesitate to go towards me. I felt weak as I grabbed the edge of the table and panted from crying too much.
Jin got closer and removed his blazer, wrapping it around my body to cover my chest area and lifted me up in a bridal style again.
Why do you like giving me bridal style, Jin? I mentally thought, eyes fixed on him. He just shoot me a slight smile and firmly hold me before storming out of the room.
After being a few meters away from the dining room, Jin coughed trying to break off the silence between us.
"What happened?" He asked in worry.
"I don't know.." I replied biting my lips and wiping the remaining tears away from my eyes as I sniffed.
However, deep inside, I was cursing towards Jimin. Cursing him with all my heart to the point that I want to murder him. But I just hope Jin wouldn't know who I'm talking about.
"I sure wish to know who you are cursing to though." He chuckled, teasing me.
"Shut up." I chuckled weakly. My eyes began to close and didn't know what's happening to me anymore.
After a good few minute, feeling myself insensible to those around me, I just wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned on his shoulder, closing my eyes. Not minding what is happening right now. I'm simply too tired.
"Thank you." I whispered and before I knew it, I felt drowsy and feel myself being laid to a soft sheets.
It's a bed. And I forgot that he's a vampire who can ran as fast as he could. I breathed in and rolled myself on the sheets, feeling him covering me with blankets. I can feel the care in his warm hands.
"Goodnight, my love." He whispered as he patted my shoulders softly.
KIM SEOKJIN’S POINT OF VIEW
As soon as I walked towards Ha Na's room, Taehyung was already waiting and staring at us in the hallway. He walked towards us and looked at Ha Na who was sleeping peacefully on my chest already.
"What happened?" Taehyung asked in worry.
"Where were you? Ha Na was waiting for you at the Dining Room." I mumbled, tightly holding Ha Na in my arms.
"Something came up." he shook his head and looked at her again. "Give her to me."
I nodded and gave the light weighted woman to Taehyung. I saw her wrapping her arms around his neck and leaned her head on his shoulder, snuggling on the side of his neck.
"Thank you." she mumbled in her sleep and snuggled her head on his chest this time. I could feel that she has fallen asleep already yet at the same time, awake.
"She must be that tired that she didn't notice." I chuckled—maybe Ha Na thought that I was still the one holding her.
Taehyung smiled at me before I nodded for him to go. He ran fast as he could to her room and I sighed, putting my pockets on my pants.
I forgot. She still has my blazer.
Breathing in, I halted my steps, remembering Jimin. I ran towards the kitchen and saw him on the way making me stop. I walked towards him, raising an eyebrow.
"Jimin." I called out and he turned around. He looked upset—he must've been upset about what happened awhile ago.
"Yes, Hyung?"
"What happened back there?" I asked, crossing my arms. He looked down, flash of guilt appeared in his expression.
"I don't even know why she became like that, hyung." He sighed before looking back at me. It seemed like he was telling the truth.
"How does Ha Na know you?" His eyes widened at my question. Then bit his lips.
"What do you mean, Hyung?" he rubbed the nape of his neck, laughing awkwardly.
I huffed. "She knows you. She was crying because of you."
He cocked his head in confusion. "What?"
"She was calling me for me." I scowled lightly, trying not to make a fight. I sighed. "Now tell me, Jimin."
"What is it, Hyung?"
"How did you two meet? How did you know her?" I softly asked him. He just stared at me blankly, unable to comprehend anything and is speechless.
"You know that she's Taehyung's woman, remember?" I trailed off, making him snapped out of his own world.
"Don't worry, hyung. I know she belongs to Taehyung." He nervously chuckled, biting his lips.
But she belongs to me as well. Jimin must've accidentally thought that.
Does Jimin even realized that the one he spoke to is a man who can hear his thoughts as well? I could clearly hear his thoughts.
But Jimin, please don't do anything. I mentally thought as I sighed.
"I won't do anything, hyung." He sighed. "I won't touch her nor steal her away from Taehyung. I know him way better than you guys."
"Stop bragging about your close friendship with Taehyung now." I growled, glaring at him. "You better stop seeing her before Taehyung finds out. You should not tell anyone about your meeting with her."
"Why not?"
"He's capable of doing anything, Jimin." I scoffed and put my arms down.
And that, I left him there and transported to my bedroom. I stumbled myself on the bed and sighed as memories of my past, appeared again.
I am one of the weakest Duke.
Second to the weakest to be specific since I was transformed late.
I may be the eldest of the 4 Dukes, I was just the third one who was made as a Duke and fourth as one of the 5 first vampires in history.
Each of us had different stories to tell and tragedies we have encountered. Too many shits have happened in our life already—that we don't dare go against each other unless we are sure that it's a 100% rate of winning.
If you ever go against one, make sure that you ranked higher than who you intend to fight against with unless, again, you're sure gonna win the fight.
If we go by rank, Taehyung would be first since he's the first vampire that was created and that made him the most powerful, strongest vampire.
The second one would be Namjoon, although he always denies that he's strong when everyone knows he's second to Taehyung's power and is loyal to him.
The third one is Jimin, who gained power and strength because of his friendship with Taehyung.
There is me, who Taehyung saved thousand years ago. I won't go further anymore.
Then there is Hoseok who is greedy for power and strength when everyone knows he's the weakest Duke.
Because of that rank, I don't dare go against one of them. If we go by seniority, I would be first. And what made me happy is that they don't mind rank when it comes to our friendship.
But we fight when the Kingdom is involved.
