"Please Drake! Don't get mad at me if I tell you the truth." She begged to cry.
If she did anything concerning the accident of Amanda, I would never forgive her but I decided to keep cool.
"What exactly happened?" I asked calmly suppressing my temper.
"Please seat!" She requested as she sat down.
"I can't possibly seat when someone I loved is dying," I said loudly making people around me stare at me.
" Please just seat!!" She begged to tremble.
I nodded and sat down beside her as I clasped my hands together.
"It's all my fault!" She started.
"What do you mean?" I asked fiercely.
" Please let me talk!" She sobbed.
I nodded and she continued talking.
"Amanda and I both went out to have lunch at the cafe, so when we coming back to the company we argued." She choked.
I was already boiling with anger but I kept my cool.
I didn't want to conclude what was on my mind.
'Did she pushed her off the road' I thought weirdly.
She dare not try that.
"What does this have to do with Amanda having an accident?" I asked.
" I told her she was the fault of you not loving me, that she stole your heart away and you were head over heels with her. My jealousy got a big part of me, then I-I.....!" She cried profusely.
" Oh my God!!" I muttered as I pulled my hair.
"You what?" I asked angrily.
She was terrified as she moved uncomfortably on the seat.
"I pushed her angrily making her lose her balance on the edge of the road as she was hit by a car," She cried bitterly.
My bloodshot up in my head as I sprang up angrily and fiercely.
I felt like killing her for what she did.
"You murderer!!" I shouted banging my fist on the wall.
"Please Drake! I didn't mean to, Please I didn't mean for this to happen to her." She begged as she went on her knees.
" You will rot in jail for what you did Angela, you will regret every moment for having a place of me in your heart," I said aggressively through clenched teeth.
" Pl-Please!! Don't do this to me, I swear on my head it was a big mistake. I regretted what I did Drake. I promise to do anything, please don't let me go to jail," She wailed.
I was beyond shocked and shattered, I looked helplessly at Angela who was wailing on the floor.
"Are you the one that brought the patient who had an accident now?" A man I assumed who was a doctor approached us as he stared at us confusedly.
I gave him my full attention as Angela stood up and wiped her eyes, her make-up was stained already and she looked like a ghost.
"Yes I'm the one," She answered.
"Follow me you will have to sign some documents," He said as he made to walk away.
" Please how is she doing?" I asked calmly.
"We're trying our very best, her condition is critical." He said making me stay rooted at a spot as I tried to register all that he said.
Angela looked at me sadly as she followed the doctor to sign the required document.
I pulled my hair so fucking hard as I sat on the seat I trying to make sure of what I heard.
' Critical!!' The word rang in my ear.
I sprang up immediately, I can't just sit here and look. I need to know the fuck what's wrong with Amanda.
I followed them immediately and called the doctor.
Amanda was signing the documents and she wiped her face frequently.
"Please! I'm her boyfriend, can I get to know what's wrong with my fiancee," I said helplessly.
This will be the first time I would be referring Amanda as my fiancee.
"You have to calm down gentleman, I will tell you everything you need to know." He said.
Angela signed the documents and she excused us as she exited the room.
I nodded as I tapped on my knee frequently.
"Like I said her condition is critical, she's trying her very best to fight through it." He started and my heart missed a beat.
"Please tell me!" I said desperately.
"The accident she had made her got two of her ribs broken but we were lucky it didn't pierce her lungs." He said and I got paralyzed in my seat.
I didn't have the energy to say anything as the doctor looked at me pitifully.
"We realized she hit her head seriously and there might be a 70% possibility that she might lose her memory," He stated.
" No way!" I muttered helplessly.
She can't possibly forget all the good memories we had together.
"Please can I get to see her?" I asked desperately.
"Not now maybe an hour later, She has to rest a bit." He said and stood up as I bowed my head in agony.
He tapped my shoulder, "She's strong she will fight it through." He assured me and left.
I cried for what seems like hours, she doesn't deserve to be in this condition.
I stood up and went to where Angela was.
My blood boiled hotly at the sight of her as I walked angrily to her.
She was scared by my approach.
"If anything happens to Amanda, I will never forgive you," I said with a clenched jaw and I walked past her to another seat.
