ANGELA POV.
"Amanda! Amanda!! Amanda!!!" I shook her vigorously as she laid unconscious with bruises on her body.
"Amanda! Please don't close those eyes, stay strong for Drake!" I screamed as I wept over her.
The ambulance came in no time and she was attended to as she was rushed to the hospital.
I sat beside her, praying she made it through.
It was all my fucking fault, how I wished I never pushed her off before getting hit by the speeding vehicle.
I could see the way she closed her eyes slowly.
Her heartbeat was getting low and the doctors did everything they could to make it as normal as possible.
"Please don't die!" I cried as I squeezed her hand gently.
She wasn't a bad person and my jealous head wouldn't let me see that.
I was so selfish and I nearly killed an innocent soul.
It wasn't their fault they both fell in love, it was fate.
'Oh no! Drake!!' I thought as fear gripped over me.
He will run mad and crazy if he hears about the accident.
"God!!" I muttered silently as I prayed within myself.
I've never gotten so scared in my life and I didn't plan for this to happen.
Within 30 minutes we got to the hospital and the nurses came running with an emergency bed.
Amanda was placed quickly on the bed gently as the doctors rushed her immediately to the emergency room.
"Emergency room 101," They said loudly among themselves as I followed anxiously beside them.
They got to the theatre and one of the doctors stopped me.
"Ma'am please stay here." He said holding me back.
"Will she make it?" I asked terribly.
"She might but we will try our very best." He assured me and got into the theatre room.
I pulled my hair crazily as I squatted sobbing and crying my eyes out.
"This is all my fault!!" I sobbed.
I have to inform Drake.
I can't keep it away from him.
So with the last strength in me, I stood and strolled to where the phone box is.
I didn't know his number but I could remember the company's telephone number.
I dialed the number and Mrs. Wood picked.
"Hello! You are in touch with Triston limited, How may I help you?" She inquired not knowing the mess I was in.
" Please can I speak with Drake," I sobbed?
"Angela!" She said surprisingly.
" Please give the phone to him." I sobbed loudly.
" Okay." She said with concern in her voice.
I heard the click of her heels and the way she knocked on the door letting me know that she was in front of Drake's office.
I gulped terribly as I heard his voice in the background.
"Hello!" He said with his baritone voice.
"Drake!!" I cried.
DRAKE POV.
I sat still in my seat as I felt nervous and awkward. I've never been this way and it was making my gut sick.
I was pretty sure Amanda was in her office and would be busy with her works so I decided not to disturb her.
I heard a knock on the door, thinking it would be Amanda but instead Mrs. Wood walked in with the telephone making me raise my brow in confusion.
Is she not supposed to forward the call to me if it was that important.
"Sir, Angela wants to speak with you." She said worriedly.
' What again this time around?' I was sick with her talking with me always.
"Hello!" I said as I collected the phone from Sarah.
"Drake!!" She sobbed making my heart skip a beat but I decided to strong.
" What is it?" I asked her.
"Please come now." She cried.
"See if it's about your annoying talks then am not interested," I said regressively.
" No! It's about Amanda." She said and my heart nearly dropped.
"What's wrong with her?" I said scaredly as I moved away from my desk while Sarah looked at me worriedly.
"She had an accident!" She choked on her words.
"Accident!! How?" I almost screamed as I felt I was losing my head and going crazy.
Mrs. Wood looked at me worriedly.
"Where the hell are you?" I almost screamed as she sobbed in the background.
"I'm at the hospital." She choked.
"What's the name of the hospital?" I asked as I grabbed my car keys.
She told me the name of the hospital and I dropped the telephone on the table almost crashing it.
I ran out of my office and went to the car park where my car was.
I got in immediately and started the car. I got out of the exit and drove on the road crazily.
Never in my life did I think I would be this broken.
'Nothing is gonna happen!' She assured me as her words kept ringing in my ear.
I gripped the stirring fiercely as hot tears stung in my eyes.
'Amanda you promised me you will be careful! But why??' I thought terribly as I wiped my eyes.
It seems my whole world came crashing down, my heart was shattered. I can't do without living a moment with her.
She means a lot to me.
I drove like a maniac on the road and got to the hospital within 30minutes.
I got down from the car forgetting to close my door as I ran into the hospital.
My eyes searching everywhere for Angela.
I saw her sitting in a corner.
"Angela!" I called out.
She looked up her face full of shock.
I ran up to her as she stood up from the seat.
"Where is she?" I asked my voice betraying my fear.
"She's in the theatre room." She sobbed and one staring at her made me feel she was guilty.
