~After two days~
"Hey Ciara don't tell me you are still looking yourself in the mirror,you might think that you are fixing your make up but unfortunately you are just ruining it now." Clare said.
"hey why the rush!!! i can take all the time i want right??" I asked her.
"no sweetie you can't cause Carlton is already here and he's waiting for you downstairs." she told me.
"ohh really!?? then why don't you go right ahead and send him up here in my room just like you did last time huh??" I asked her.
"okay okay you win...do whatever you want but make it fast then go and meet him at once." she said while settling down on the bed.
I finished fixing my makeup and went downstairs to meet him though i was kinda nervous and i tried as much as possible to calm myself down but it still failed.
"hey good morning." I l greeted him and got his attention cause he was focusing on his phone and he had not seen me.
"ohhh good morning Ciara...wow you are looking more beautiful than ever before...for real you are looking like an Angel." he complimented me and i think i got butterflies.
'i think we should get going." i went towards the door and he followed me behind.
"Ain't you going to lock the house??" he asked me.
"my friend is there." I replied.
"ohhh yah i saw her..she even welcomed me...jeez after seeing your beautiful face,now am forgetting stuff." he tried to raise some conversation but i just went mute.
He opened the door for me then i sat in the passenger seat as he also went to the other side of the driver's seat and sat inside.
He started the car and we went to the jewelry store for ring fitting.
On reaching there,after parking the car,i was about to open the door and step out but he touched on my shoulder and i turned to look at him
"What!??" I asked him.
"please don't move,i want to fix something." he replied while looking at my face then up in my hair.
He put my hair strands that were in face behind my ears and he was like,
"i don't want anything falling on your beautiful face...it has to be well visible...there,now it's perfect."
Oh my God!!! i didn't know he was like this all along!! and am so sick of his touches cause whenever he touches me,i start feeling strange and i hate it.
"hey is everything okay??" he softly asked me.
"yah sure...please let's go." i replied while opening the door and i stepped out of the car.
He also stepped out and joined me outside.
We entered the store and started selecting the rings plus fitting them...i somehow enjoyed this moment with him cause sometimes it kinda felt real that we are seriously planning for our wedding.
We had different choices about the rings but after a couple of selections,we finally concluded with one.
After making the payments,we left the store and we moved back to the car.
"please i would like to take you out for maybe some coffee...let's not just drive back home." he said.
"okay no problem." I replied.
I focused outside on the road while leaning my head on the mirror and i could sometimes sense his gaze on me but it didn't move me.
"Ciara we are here." his voice brought me back to reality.
"wait you don't look fine...would you like to talk about it??" he asked me.
"no let's just go and take the coffee then we head back home cause i would like to be alone by myself." I replied.
"then if that's the case then let me just take you back home...you don't need to hang out with me if you don't want to." he replied and he wasn't happy with me but i had nothing to do about it.
We drove back home and the drive was silent as usual but this time he didn't even steal a glance at me which shows he was mad.
When we reached home,he parked the car in the driveway and i tried to look at him to see if he can utter something but he didn't say a word.
"hey uhm it's not that i don't want to hang out with you,but i hate crowds and right now i want to be by myself and think through a lot of things...but if you still want some coffee,please let's go inside and i prepare something for both of us." I told him.
"for real??" he turned and faced me.
I am happy to see that he is now talking to me and his cute smile is back on his face.
"yah for real." I replied with a smile.
"wow i didn't know you could even smile!!! please do it more often cause it's the cutest smile i have ever seen in my entire life." he said.
I didn't wait for his other compliment,so i opened the door and stepped outside.
He followed me to the door but it was locked which means Clare had gone to work...i checked under the flower pot at the porch and got the key.
After entering the house,i told him to sit down on the couch as am preparing but he insisted on sitting at the mini dining area in the kitchen.
I started preparing and when it was ready,i brought out the cups then started pouring in but accidentally that hot coffee poured on my hand which was holding the cup and Carlton stood up in one go then came to me....he quickly made me put down the cup and took me to the sink and placed my hand under cold running water...he was standing behind me and we were so close to each other.
