"please let's just leave this place and don't you think of teasing me you fool." i grabbed Clare's hand and made her follow me.
"come on!!! don't tell me we are going to let the hug thing slide just like that!??...that's not fair." she cried out.
"yes it was just a hug and there's nothing to talk about there so let's just leave please." i begged her.
"okay today am sparring you because it's a bad day but read my lips baby,if i get a chance in future i'll bring it up again and tease you." she assured me and i know she will cause she's not the type who easily forgets.
We moved to my car but i gave her the keys cause i wasn't in my right minds to drive.
"oh by the way Ciara,how long did the bank give you to vacate the house??" she asked me while starting the car.
"just two weeks." I replied while focusing outside on the road.
"for real!??? that's a short period." she complained.
"yah i know but we can't negotiate about it cause their decision is always final." I told her.
"yah sweetie you are right i can totally understand....so that means you guys have to fix your wedding date within the two weeks so that after that you move in with him." she asked and i just nodded my head but when i looked at her she was busy grinning on the steering wheel.
"what's so funny??? why are you grinning like a clown??" I asked her.
"clown!!! haha...anyways am just wondering and imagining how your first night with mr.Carlton will be?? with your innocence!!! haha let me not even imagine stuff cause it's crazy." she said all this while laughing out loud.
"ohhh if you want i will sneak you in our room so that you watch everything that will be taking place if you are down for it." i told her.
"ufff hell no...i will go deaf with all those moans from both of you haha save me the burden please." she said.
"and by the way who tells you that am innocent?? remember i just broken up with Collins recently." i reminded her.
"wait!!! you mean you two did it!!?? jeez Ciara you are damn serious !!!! how come you didn't give me some juicy details that day when it happened?" she excitedly asked me.
"of course i didnt tell you cause you were too busy with your job and you hardly had time for my chit chats." I told her.
"ohh sweetie my bad...but still you would have left at least a text message on my phone cause you know how much i love such jazz." she winked.
"shut up you gossip girl...uhm are you going to spend the night with me at home or you are going back home??" I asked her.
"Ciara what are you saying?? of course am going to stay the night with you and even tomorrow after work,am going to come back and be with you cause i can't leave you alone more so in such a situation." she assured me and this made me emotional cause she is missing out a lot of things in her life just for my sake but she's the only one i got and am glad that she hasn't left my side.
We reached the house and she decided to go in the kitchen and prepare something for me while i was laying in the couch.
I was in my thoughts when my phone started ringing and i just picked it up without first confirming the caller.
"hey wife-to-be." i heard a man's voice.
I quickly removed it from my ear and first checked the caller id and unfortunately it wasn't saved but then i remembered i just gave out my number to Carlton and he's the only one who can call me wife-to-be.
"hey are you still there?? hello oo." he called me from the other side of the call.
"yes am here." i replied.
"am sorry if i disturbed your peace but i wanted to know if you reached safely?" he asked.
"yah just reached a few minutes back." i replied.
"okay and another thing is that...what time is okay with you tomorrow for me to come over there??" he asked me.
"any time you wish...i have no problem with it...after all i will be here the entire day." i replied.
"okay...you mean even if i choose to come there very early in the morning like at 7am??" he asked.
"7am?? why would you choose that time? don't you have office tomorrow??" I asked him.
"I have but still i can choose to first come and see my wife-to-be's morning face before i get busy in the day." he said.
jeez!!! is he trying to flirt with me?? and whenever he says wife-to-be,my heart races.
"okay if you wish to...then come over at that time." I replied.
"okay then see you tomorrow and please take some rest." he said.
"okay then." I replied then he hung up.
"haha don't move an inch please...let me first get you some ice cubes." Clare blurted.
"what do you mean!?" I asked her.
"to cool down that red face of yours haha...or i should first get you a mirror and you confirm it yourself!?? she teasingly asked
"i know it was Carlton on the phone cause you were seriously blushing and i have never seen you in such a state haha....please don't fight it cause i see you two falling in love very soon." she came where i was sitting and hugged me so tight.
"let go of me you stupid girl...am going to my room and don't you dare follow me there." i warned her.
"like you can stop me if i want to!!! haha." she screamed at me like i made my way upstairs.
