I woke up in the morning and i sensed someone in my room and i knew it's Clare since she refused to sleep in the other bedroom last night that she wanted to watch over me like a baby.
My whole body was aching and i was too lazy to move out of the bed...the weather was too chilly and it made me to curve myself beneath the covers.
I wanted to stay like this for some good hours...then i sensed Clare sitting on the bed and i tried kicking her off the bed cause i know she is going to start disturbing my peaceful sleep.
"get off my bed you psycho bitch...i need to rest." I shouted at her while tilting in the bed.
She didn't say a word and this was so not her....i quickly sat up and to my surprise it was not Clare sitting on my bed,it was Carlton!!! like how and when did he enter in my room??!!
"uhm i think your eye balls are going to fall out if you continue staring at me like that." he uttered.
"am sorry but when did you get inside here??? and how!??" I asked him in one go.
"okay i found your friend leaving the house and she invited me inside then she gave me a go ahead to come in here." he replied.
"come in here???! she might have allowed you inside the house but not inside my room cause she knows how much i hate people interrupting my sleep." I told him.
"actually she did...cause i would have stayed and waited for you from downstairs but she insisted that i come here...so here i am." he replied.
I cursed Clare for what she did and she's going to pay for it when she gets back here.
"so like i had promised to come here first thing in the morning,i had to fulfill it...so get freshen up and we have a small meeting about our upcoming wedding." he said with a cute smile and my eyes always get stuck on his Adams apple whenever he is talking.
"let's just talk from here cause i have no plans of leaving this bed at this time and besides i don't think there's much to talk about cause am down for anything you have in plan." I told him.
"come on!!! this is our wedding,your getting married and you have to make plans of how you want it to be." he said.
"nah actually i don't have any plans...just plan whatever you want and let's get done with it." I replied him.
"you mean you don't have any idea of your dream wedding??" he casually asked me.
"(scoffs) yes i had plans for my dream wedding but this is not it at all cause i am not getting married to the love of my life...so am not so much interested in this planning thing." I replied him.
Oppsss!!! i shouldn't have said that statement...it came out badly and i can't take it back right now.
I can see that he is not happy at all with what i said and right now i regret why i didn't think twice before saying it out loud.
"uhm please am sorry for what i said...i didn't mean to sound like that." i tried to apologize to him.
"no you don't have to apologize...you said out your feelings and i totally understand cause this life is too short and you really deserve to have your dream wedding with your soulmate and forgive me for depriving that dream away from you...maybe we can put an end to all of this and we even forget that you once agreed to this proposal." he said.
"I know am forcing you to do all this and to be honest with you,you can still turn down this proposal and move on with your life cause if you don't want to get married to me then i totally understand." he said
He stood up from the bed after saying this and went to the door but before he turned the door knob,i kicked off the covers and ran to him.
"hey first wait...at least hear me out." i placed my hand on top of his which was about to turn the door knob.
He looked down at me...i removed my hand then he wanted to go on and open the door but i held his hand around the elbow and made him stop.
"Carlton i said am sorry for whatever i told you earlier...let's put it behind us and proceed with whatever you were planning." I told him.
"okay will give you a call when am coming to pick you up and we go for ring fitting and selection." he said.
"you mean we have to do all that!?? i thought even if one of us goes and picks them up!...can't you do it alone?" i asked him.
"if we have been dating for a while in the past,then it would be easy for me to select all that cause i would be knowing your size and tastes." he replied while pocketing.
"ohhh okay i understand...in that case i will be waiting for your call." I told him.
"in two days time we shall be doing that...then you need to find time and go fit in your wedding gown cause you know i can't escort you there." he said.
I nodded and he opened the door to leave but before he left, he came closer to me and i wonder what he was up to!??
He lifted my chin with his index finger and made me look up in his eyes...his eyes spoke a million words which i couldn't interpret and he came in forward and i was dumbfounded.
His nose touched my cheek and i slightly moved my body but it was not all,he went ahead and pecked my cheek.
He whispered in my ear,"i will see you in two days."
Okay i have ever been kissed and done so many crazy things with my ex boyfriend but Carlton's touch made me feel like this is my first time and after whispering that to me,i wished to pull him over and get dirty in bed but unfortunately right now he was far gone and thank God Clare is not here,otherwise she would be teasing me again.
