Author's POV
In The Evening,
"Ella!" Angela hugged her friend who come to see her, as soon as she knew everything from Mrs.Brown.
"Angela…" She patted her back and felt sorry for her. She knew there is something wrong with her conversation whenever they talk on the phone, she realized that Eric could lock her.
After releasing them from the hug Ella told her, she wanted to see Eric.
Angela takes her to Eric's room.
Ella saw and felt little bad for the man as she knew if he didn't push Angela at the right time, her friend is the one lying there.
After watching him, both of them went to the hospital canteen for a talk.
"Babe, are you fine?" Ella asked with a concerned look.
Angela gave a small smile and nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine…"
"Are you sure?" Ella arched her brows and looked at her with a serious tone.
Angela knew she couldn't hide her concern from her.
While next later, she sighed helplessly and said in a lower tone," I don't know Ella if I'm fine or not…"
"I feel too much pressure on myself. I don't know how to treat Eric and his family anymore. I don't hate them but accepting the truth is so much for me…"
Ella could understand what she meant.
"Angela, Aunt told me you asked uncle to stay here with Eric…did you change your mind for him?"
Angela felt silent for a moment before she responded, "Yes, you are thinking right. My mind changed for him…"
"Ella, when he locked me, I felt too much hatred for him and said so many harsh words to him. Even I said God will punish him for his deeds. But when he got into the accident to save me…I realized I'm just saying those words in anger but did not want it to happen to him anyway. Because it hurts to watch him lying like this. It hurts so much, Ella…" Her eyes turned red while tears took place in her dry eyes.
Ella felt too sorry for her, as she knew what happened to her friend, and that was what she asked in her next question.
"Angela, did you love Eric?" Ella's words made her stunned for a second before she met her eyes but immediately retreated her gaze from her.
"I don't think so…" Her voice turned so low at this moment.
Ella guessed she was lying, but she didn't argue with her on that topic.
"Alright, if you don't want to share that thing right now, I'll not ask you about that…"
"But if you are truly in love with Eric then think about the divorce thing more carefully!"
Angela looked at her with a quiet gaze.
While Ella continues with her words.
"Because once you sign it, there is no turning back for you and him! And I can see, you are still not a hundred percent sure about your decision Angela. So, please think carefully and decide what you truly want! Do you want to give your relationship a chance with Eric or do you want to leave him and let go of your past?"
Angela understood her words and nodded.
"You are saying the truth, I need to find out what I want…"
Ella gave a warm smile to hear her response. She hoped Angela would choose the right path for her future.
"Angela, whatever, you are going to choose, I'll always be there for you."
Angela nodded and fell into deep thought related to Eric and her relationship.
After their conversation, Ella left the hospital and told Angela to contact her if she needs anything.
Angela again comes back to Eric's ward and sees Mr.and Mrs.Brooks already sitting there.
"Uncle-Aunt?" She thought they were left in the afternoon.
"You both didn't go back home?" She asked in plain words.
Both husband-wife looked at each other before landing their eyes on her face.
"Angela, we just came back to talk with you."
"With me?" She arched her brows.
"Yes, could you please hear us?" Mrs.Brooks requested.
Angela couldn't deny them and finally nodded.
They all come out from the ward.
"What did you both want to talk to me about?" She looked at them and waited for their response.
Mr.Brooks suddenly knelt in front of her and pressed his hands together.
Angela felt shocked and immediately held his hands, "Uncle, what are you doing?"
She asked abruptly, feeling suddenly uneasy.
"Angela, we wanted to apologize for whatever we did to you…" Mr.Brooks said while his eyes got tears.
Angela felt her heart tighten because she never wanted to see them beg like this to her. She's angry but not inhuman to make them do something like this. She still respects them because they always treated her as their daughter.
"Uncle you don't need to do that…" She looked at him with an upset look while she glanced at Mrs.Brooks and added, "Aunt, please tell Uncle not to knelt down in front of me like this…"
"Angela, we both are too guilty. After talking to your parents we realized, no matter even our thinking is good for you but it's not our right to force you to do that without even telling you."
Angela's eyes burned to hear her.
"We should never marry you to Eric like this…we made a big mistake and I know it makes you feel badly hurt because you trusted us so much. But Angela, can you please accept our apologies! And don't hate us."
"A-Aunt…" Angela felt stuck.
"We will accept whatever you decide at last but please don't hate us, Angela, and please forgive our son also…"
Mrs.Brooks pressed her hands together.
Angela looked at both people and felt she couldn't hate them. So, why not just let it go.
And next, later she nodded, "Alright…I forgive you both."
Mr.and Mrs.Brooks couldn't believe in their eyes. Angela accepted the apology so easily.
"Angela, are you telling the truth?" Mr.Brooks asked with a hesitant smile.
Angela looked at him and nodded.
"Yes, Uncle-Aunt! I'm forgiving you both." She gave a small smile.
Mrs.Brooks could not help but hug her tightly and thanked her for doing this. For accepting their apologies.
Angela silently nodded.
Angela accepted their apology because, after Eric's accident, she knew very well nothing is bigger than death, not even her hate for them.
