‘He is not in a good mood. Santino had pissed him off by offering him a lot of money to sign the deal him when Oliver Weasley denied his proposal.’
‘Damn! I just hope that he won’t lash out the anger of Santino at me. I don’t understand what Santino was thinking by offering money to the werewolf king. I get it that he is a human, but offering money to him is like an insult.’
‘Maybe he was ruining your chance. So, that Oliver Weasley wouldn’t sign any deal with you as well.’

Hearing everything, Caroline realized that she had to calm her Uncle Oli’s anger because if not that Artemis might have faced the wrath of the things that he didn’t do.

“I’m regretting coming here,” Oliver Weasley said, feeling disappointed after seeing Santino’s presentation. At first, the lady who came to present the meeting hadn’t worn proper clothes. He couldn’t feel but wonder whether he was there for a business meeting or to see a model like a lady wearing a tight and short dress. He wouldn’t have been surprised if the lady presenting the presentation's breasts would have popped out of her clothes. Hell, he could barely look at her.
Not just that, the presentation was nothing but trash. It was like the student had good handwriting but hadn’t written anything in the examination.
He had heard highly of Gosling Groups of Hotels, but it was clear that things were different from the inside compared to the outside.
“I’m sorry to say, Mr. Gosling, but you were thinking that if you will make a half-naked lady stand in front of us, then the deal is yours, then you’re mistaken.” He said in a cold tone, standing from his seat, and soon his important associates joined him too.
“The proposal you had sent to us was amazing, but this lady definitely doesn’t know how to represent it. So, it’s clear that you have stolen the idea of the proposal, and we don’t deal with the thief.” A lady in the suit said, standing beside Oliver Weasley.
“You called me a thief?” Santino glared at that lady.
“I apologize on my daughter’s behalf. She is new in the business and learning things.” Oliver Weasley said and looked at his daughter, silently saying that using the word ‘THIEF’ was not appropriate. “She should have said the same thing in another way.” he added, supporting his daughter because he knew that she wasn’t wrong about her opinion.”
Santino gritted his teeth, looking at them, but he just couldn’t transform into a wolf and attack them because of four reasons.
One, his wolf knew that the human standing in front of him was the mate of the werewolf queen, and he couldn’t attack him even if his human wanted to.
Second, he was in the human world; revealing his wolf in front of a human would be a punishable act, and Queen could strip his wolf, turning him into a human.
Third, The person standing in front of him might be a human but was a trained hunter in the area of herbs. Oliver could poison him in ways that he couldn’t imagine.
And fourth and the most important one was that he was the Queen’s mate. Even thinking of attacking him could cost him everything he desired, especially the pack.
‘But I can hurt his self-respect, right? In such a way that even my cousin won’t have a chance to have any deal with him and his restaurant chain..’ Santino thought.
‘Don’t do that. Your plan might fire back if the Queen will get to know what exactly you do.’
‘I don’t think so. I have heard that they rarely interfere in each other’s business.’
‘And what if they end up discussing this? So, don’t. I’m warning you.’
“So, you want to say that you ended up becoming this brand without betraying anyone?” Santino questioned. “Don’t force me to tell that you ended up marrying the daughter of your boss, and because of her, you’re here,” he added.
Charlotte, Oliver Weasley’s daughter, fumed in anger hearing this. She was about to answer him back when Oliver held her wrist, stopping her from losing her calm.
“Gentleman, let’s go.” Oliver Weasley said, calming but deep down, he was also fuming in anger.
“Mr. Weasley, I can offer a lot of money if you sign this deal with me.” Santino played his last move to piss him off and looked at Lucca, who opened a few bags loaded with cash.
“Sign this deal?” Oliver Weasley scoffed. “After this incident, I will make sure that NO ONE, NO ONE will work with you and your company. Now, if I will stay a second more, then it will mean that I’m enjoying my insult.” He hissed and walked out of the meeting room while checking whether his daughter was following him or not.
Once everyone left, Charlotte looked at Santino angrily. “You will regret this.” She warned.
“What are you going to do? Complain your mommy?” he teased. Charlotte was about to answer him, but her phone started to ring. She checked her phone, and it was her elder sister and her dad’s goddaughter, Caroline.
“I don’t have to involve my mom. My sister is enough to teach you a lesson.” She hissed and walked out of the meeting room and received Caroline’s call.
“Hey, Lotte!! Is Uncle Oli with you? Because he is not receiving my call.”
“Don’t talk about dad’s mood. He is super duper pissed. I won’t be surprised if he will fry anyone alive in his kitchen.”
“I need to talk to him urgently. Can you please ask him to check his phone?” Caroline muttered in tension. She didn’t want her uncle to fry her mate in his pissed mood.
