“So?” Artemis asked, raising her brow. “Bodycon dress or flared dress?” He added, pointing toward the black dress on the bed that Caroline had to wear for lunch. “Along with that, I got you matching pieces of jewelry as well.”
“And about your Talismans, in your neck. You can just turn the pendant design into a ring because, as much as I know, the stone is important, and it should be in direct contact with the skin. So, you can use it as a ring for a while. What do you say?” He asked.
“Ummm…. Is it important to wear a dress? Can’t I wear jeans, a t-shirt and a black jacket on the top or something that I wear regularly?” Caroline asked, frowning at the choice of clothes that Artemis had given to her.
“Of course, you can. And if you don’t want to wear dresses, then it’s fine. Just wear something nice.” Artemis said, nodding his head. He didn’t want to pressure her to wear something that she didn’t want to.
That was a different thing that he wanted her to wear a dress for lunch. Caroline knew what he wanted deep down, but she didn’t want to wear it in front of Charlotte and Uncle Oli. They would tease her later for changing her clothing, especially her cousin. Caroline rarely used to wear dresses.
At the same time, Lucy knocked on the door even though it was open.
“My suit?”
“Yes!!” Lucy nodded and walked in to give him his suit, and after that, she left. Caroline observed that Artemis was planning to wear a black color suit and a white shirt under it.
‘If I would wear casuals, then our dress wouldn’t compliment each other.’ She mentally thought. Caroline was the first to walk into the washroom, and since she was taking a lot of time, Artemis used the washroom of the other room and got ready there. He used plenty amount time to set his hair after it was the favorite part of his body. After setting his hair, he used hair spray to hold it high.
He couldn’t hold his happiness since last night from the moment Caroline had confessed her love for him.
‘Are you going to take a whole day to get ready?” Bolt asked in irritation because he wanted to see his mate, wondering what she would have worn for real.
As much he knew her, he was positive that she would wear a dress, and the moment he entered their room, TADA… she was indeed wearing flared dress and, just like he had suggested, her talismans on her middle finger. She had kept her long hair open and had curled it at the end.
And at that time, she was wearing a white diamond earning. He couldn’t get his eyes off his mate. He tried to lean on the door, but he started falling to the floor when he realized that the door was two to three steps behind where he was standing. He composed his posture and started staring at her again. He watched her running her fingers in her hair to give it a slight bounce and her bracelet of stars and moons that he had gifted her along with earning.
Only he knew how much he wanted to run fingers in her hair and grab it by asking her to go down. Caroline felt that she was ready, but then she hadn’t applied lipstick until now, which she mostly kept at last. She grabbed her maroon shade lipstick and slowly opened her mouth to apply it, and Artemis tried to hold something to control himself from getting aroused. He couldn’t help but think of sex by observing her every move as an indication.
The way she moved her lips, he imagined it moving around his rod.
He so much wanted to cancel the lunch.
“Pheww… done,” Caroline said to herself and placed her things in their proper place. She looked at Artemis, expecting to hear some compliment, but it never came, so she herself took the lead, recalling the cheesy lines that she searched on the internet.
“There must be something wrong with my eyes.” She said, and in no time, Artemis reached near her, cupping her face to check what was wrong with it. Did her eyelashes go in her eyes or any eye maker?
“I can’t see anything in it. Neither is it red.” He muttered in worry and blew air in her air with his mouth to make her feel good.
“Check properly, please. There must be something definitely wrong with my eyes because I can’t seem to take them off of you.” Hearing stopped, looking for any issue in her eyes, and narrowed his eyes, realizing that he was being tricked by his mate in the same way, just as he used to do to her.
Caroline just grinned from ear to ear and hoped for him to compliment her now, but it never came again.
“By the way, how do I look?” She finally asked instead of waiting. Artemis sensed her anxiety, so he thought to tease her.
“I wanted you to wear that bodycon dress so that you could have looked nice,” he said in a serious tone, and hearing this from him, Caroline was taken aback.
“NICE?” She asked, and automatically her voice raised. “Are you now going to give me a compliment by saying ‘NICE’? Guess what? I know I look better. I don’t want to hear your compliment.” She was about to leave the room, fuming in anger, when Artemis blocked her way.
“But by wearing this dress, you look breathtaking,” he added. Hearing this, Caroline’s anger calmed down a little, but she kept glaring at him for pissing her off. “So, aside from taking my breath away, what do you do for a living?”
A smile appeared on her lips even though she tried not to smile. “Did I tell you before or not that you’ve got a lot of beautiful curves? But your smile is absolutely my favorite.”
“Yes! You did.”
“Nevermind, I don’t mind repeating my own lines,” Artemis muttered, shrugging his shoulder. “Come here!! Let’s take a selfie together.”
