“So, the thing is,” he stood next to my chair. “I feel the culprits are my own brothers”
“Okay,” I said and leaned back in the chair and faced him. “What are we gonna do now?”
“I don’t know. I of course denied access and they can’t do anything with some pics. But I need to make it more secure” he went back to his chair and sat down. “Give me some ideas, Ash”
“Umm…” I looked at his laptop. The confidential document was up. “ I think you should take them off your PC”
“Then where should it be?”
“Nowhere. Delete it” I looked at him. “We know about it. Isn’t it enough?”
He looked unsure for a moment. “But how do we tell someone else who’d take this business after us?”
“We’ll solve every weakness till then, sir,” I said.
He looked at me with a confused expression. Why is it so hard to convince him?
“Sir?” he asked.

“Uhh… of course. You are my sir during work, aren’t you?”
“Nope. I am Chris for you”
“But what if someone hears--”
“Everyone knows about us, Ash” he got up and came to me. I stood up too.
“Why to hide?” he whispered.
“Ahh… right”
He smiled and placed a small peck on my lips. “You are right. Delete the documents”
I smiled and he left the cabin.

I left the cabin and went downstairs. I had come to the headquarters with Ash due to some work.
“Good morning, sir!” Kate wished me as I crossed the reception. I nodded at her and made my way out of the building.
I messaged Ashley. I forgot to tell her I am leaving for some time.
“I am leaving for fifteen minutes. I’ll be back here. Till then, miss me”
I smiled at my own text and sat inside my car and drove off.
I reached my home and went upstairs. It is my house where my ‘brothers’ came.
I sat down thinking about how to find out whether my suspicion is right or not. Maybe it is, but if it isn’t, there is someone else, who accessed my files. He can try again. I need to know about him.

I received a message.

I am so not replying to this shit.
As I was about to check for any clues, I heard the doorbell. I went downstairs and opened it.
“Who’s there--” I said in an irritated tone but found Ash.
“Are you irritated that I am here?” she acted like she was hurt.
“I didn’t know you were here” I stated and closed the door.
“Hm-mh. I was getting bored and wanted to surprise you” she went inside with me.
“A pleasant surprise” I replied.
She smiled. “I am happy it was pleasant”
I smirked and stopped before the staircase. She stopped and looked at me by raising an eyebrow.
“You are inside my house,” I said and she raised an eyebrow. “In your boyfriend’s house”
I took a step near her and she was blushing already.
“Ah… no! In my boss’ house”
“Oh, did your boss call you? For what? Or you go to your boss’ house for fun?”
She kept quiet and slowly took a step towards me.
“Maybe I came to my boyfriend’s house anyway”
I smirked and pulled her close. I kissed her and she kissed me back.
“I love you Chris” She whispered.
Do I love her?
Or is it just infatuation or attraction?
Should I say it if I don’t really know it?
“Chris, reply” she pulled apart and looked at me.
Reply.
I need to reply.
But I shouldn’t say it if I am not so sure.
“Ash, I…” How can I tell her that I am not even sure I love her? That would be cheating.
“I love you” I half lied and she smiled.
“Damn, I wanted to hear it so bad!” She exclaimed, making me more guilty.
Should I have not said it if I was not sure?
But how can I really break her heart?
I know I have feelings for her. But is it love?
“Why are you sad?” She asked and I realized I was.
“No! I am not sad, why would I?” I took her face in my hands. “You are the best thing that happened to me”.
At least that wasn’t a lie.

I don’t know but he wasn’t exactly happy after kissing me and telling me he loves me. Gosh, I think I am worrying about nothing. Of course, he loves me. Someone like him must really know the meaning of feelings and he doesn’t look like the one to play with someone’s feelings.
“You are the best thing that happened to me,” he said and I smiled at him while kissing him slowly.
“I should be the one saying that” I whispered to him.
He smiled at me and I got away.
“Ah... so…” I was suddenly embarrassed and blushing. “W-What did you come home for?”
“I thought to confirm my suspicion by any clues” he looked at me. “What do you think about this?”
“I don’t know. I don’t know your brothers, your enemies, so I can’t comment” I looked at him back. “But I am sure that there is no one else because I checked the cameras yesterday and no one other than our staff entered our buildings and I think we can trust our staff”
He looked at me with a little concern. “Don’t trust someone so easily”
I don’t know why, but I felt a hint that he was referring to us. Why?
“What do you mean?” I questioned him.
He sighed. “Nothing”
“Nothing?”
He sighed heavily this time. “I don’t know”
Is he going insane?
“I guess we should sit and think about it,” I suggested and he nodded.
We went upstairs and into his room. We sat down on his bed.
“So, other than your laptop, were the papers elsewhere?” I asked.
He thought for a moment. He sighed.
“Y-Yes. Earlier. Maybe they were deleted but maybe not”
“Where, Chris?” I asked and he closed his eyes.
