Sitting on an easy chair and closing his eyes, Mikaeel was lost in thoughts. Today Aurin has met Maryam's kids which means she is in Pakistan right now. This one thought has snatched Mikaeel's sleep. The fear has started increasing inside him. The fear of losing Aurin. The fear of Aurin's hatred.
Pulling his hair behind he recalled that disastrous night and felt like killing himself. Instead of blaming Maryam, he was blaming himself. His stupidity.
Flashback
" What I am doing here?" Mikaeel questioned Maryam who just come out of the shower.
Maryam answered chuckling," You are in a hotel room with me. You are naked, I just took a shower. What do you think are you doing here?"
Hearing her words Mikaeel tried to recall what happened last night but nothing was coming into his mind. The last thing he could remember was that he was with his friends. After that what happened to him he doesn't know.
" Oh, Miki. Don't pressurize your mind so much when I am here to inform you what happened. You were so much drunk last night that you weren't able to walk. So, as a good friend of yours, I just brought you here to take care of you," Maryam replied looking at his confused face but Mikaeel can feel the sarcasm behind her voice.
Mikaeel asked curling his brows," If you were that much concerned for me then why didn't you take me to my home? What have you done to me, Maryam?"
" I didn't do anything, Miki. We did what we have been wanting to do. Do you remember the Maldives trip? There you were so eager to sleep with me but because of my period, you couldn't do anything. So, I just fulfilled your wish," Maryam replied without any hesitation and Mikaeel was completely frozen in his place.
He couldn't believe what he has heard right now. A chill ran down his spine and he felt like the earth around him has stopped spinning. Is she serious? Or she has lost her mind somewhere.
" You must be joking?" Mikaeel asked nodding his head.
Maryam replied chuckling," Why would I joke with you? I am just telling the truth."
" That means............." Mikaeel stopped for a few seconds and shouted on Maryam's face shaking with anger," You raped me!!!"
Shocking himself more Maryam started laughing out loud like Mikaeel had said some kind of joke. Mikaeel continued looking at Maryam in disbelief.
" Oh!! Miki. What are you even saying? I didn't rape you. A man can't be raped. You enjoyed my touches and got hard instantly then how it can be rape, hmm?" Maryam asked so casually and Mikaeel was astonished beyond the level of seeing her behaviour.
She whispered with a painful voice," Only a woman can get raped."
He screamed at the top of his lungs," I was unconscious, Maryam. That means I wasn't in my senses to give any type of consent. You took advantage of my vulnerable situation by having a physical relationship without my consent. This is rape, Maryam. This is rape."
Maryam remained silent having an emotionless expression when Mikaeel threatened her," I am gonna sue you for whatever you did to me. I swear I am going to throw you behind the bar."
Mikaeel expected a fearful or nervous expression from Maryam but she didn't react at all. She was looking completely untroubled like his threat didn't even affect her at all.
" Go ahead, Mikaeel. Let the world know that you are raped. Then, what? Let the world mock you that like a coward you got raped by a woman!! What do you think will happen when this news will spread through social media? You are going to be trolled for getting raped. People will mock you by saying that even after being a man you got raped!! Everyone will spit on your face, and make memes by this news. Are you ready to deal with all this, Mikaeel?" Maryam asked walking around him dramatically and Mikaeel was rooted in his place.
Whatever she said is true. The world, his relatives, friends, employees and every single person will mock him, and make fun of him. But, what about Aurin? What will she think of him? Won't she get disgusted by him after knowing that he was raped? Won't she leave him?
" And, who is gonna believe you Mikaeel? If I say that you and I were having an affair then people will believe me. There is no evidence that I harassed you but there is plenty of evidence that we were good friends. I can present all this just the way I want," Maryam said chuckling and for the first time, Mikaeel felt so helpless that he can't even describe it in words.
Then, Maryam said laughing," No one will believe you. And, your wife? Kicking your ass, she will ditch you. No woman would want to live with a cheater husband."
Those words left Maryam's mouth and Mikaeel sat on the bed like a hopeless person. Aurin will ditch him. This one sentence is enough to shake him from the core.
" Why? Why? Just why?" Mikaeel shouted at Maryam feeling helpless and angry at the same time.
Maryam answered emotionlessly," I am not going to explain anything to you."
" I never thought that you will step that low!! You aren't the Maryam I used to know! You did all this just because I rejected you," Mikaeel said rubbing his face out of frustration.
Maryam's eyes moistened for a few seconds but she didn't show any emotion on her face. Keeping a straight face she looked at Mikaeel who was looking broken completely.
" Anyway, Mikaeel. I got what I wanted from you. I won't tell anyone what happened between us. It would be better if you keep your mouth mum too," Maryam said and Mikaeel was shaking in anger.
He shouted losing his patience," You are a bitch, you know. You are just a pathetic excuse of a woman. You are disgusting. I am going to cancel the deal right now."
" Sure. Not before giving me ** billions. Don't you remember the deal, Mr Sheikh? It was mentioned earlier that you will pay me ** billions if you cancel the deal without reaching a certain amount of profit," Maryam reminded and this time Mikaeel couldn't control his anger anymore.
Clutching her jaw tightly he shouted on her face with pure hatred," Sure. I will give you ** billions as your payment. After all, you slept with me. It's your payment for your service because you are a whore. You are no better than a prostitute."
The last sentence triggered a strong nerve inside Maryam and she stumbled back. She tried to control her tears but she failed to control her tears. Fat drops of tears started flowing down her cheeks.
" You know what Maryam. I am glad that you broke up with me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known what kind of disgusting and pathetic human you are!!" Mikaeel said spitting venom with every single word he took.
Flashback ended
" Hey, Allah. I am not understanding anything. What I should do?" Mikaeel asked placing a hand over his chest.
He started thinking about what will happen if Aurin comes to know about this disaster. He was getting more and more afraid of thinking about the consequences. If Aurin leaves him then he will be shattered completely. It took ten years for him to overcome one heartbreak. If the same thing happens with him again he doesn't know-how he is gonna deal with this.
" No, my wifey can't leave me. I won't let her leave me ever. I have to do something to keep her with me forever. But, what I am gonna do?" Mikaeel was mumbling all these nodding his head vigorously.
Suddenly someone rested a hand over his shoulder and he got startled by the sudden touch. He looked behind and found that it was none other than Aurin.
" Are you ok?" Aurin asked worriedly noticing his sweaty forehead.
Thinking for a few seconds, Mikaeel said out of nowhere," Let's have a baby, wifey."
Aurin was taken aback by his sentence and before she could even react he picked her up in bridal style. Laying her down on the bed he started kissing her passionately where Aurin was still in shock.
" Maybe a child will bind her with me," Mikaeel thought mentally.
He knows that Aurin isn't any pathetic woman who will stay with him for the child even after knowing that he was raped or maybe she will think that he cheated on her. But, still, he will go to any length to keep her with him. He has become so dependent on Aurin that he can't even imagine a single second without her.
