Maryam was at the airport with her kids and waiting for her flight. Today she is returning to Dubai since Yamir & Omaira miss their Baba a lot.
Sitting in the waiting room Maryam was looking at the kids with affectionate eyes. Yamir & Omaira were having fun with their little sister Mehzabin. Looking at them her heart warmed up and an affectionate smile formed on her lips.
" Maryam," A lady voice called Maryam which startled her.
She looked behind and after seeing the person her eyes widened. A shocked expression appeared on her face seeing Mikaeel's mother. She wondered what's Farnaaz doing here.
" You?" Maryam questioned surprisingly.
Mikaeel's mother inquired with desperate eyes," Where is my grandchild?"
Maryam frowned her brows while Farnaaz said," I know that you are the mother of Mikaeel's child. I want to meet my grandchild. Where is she?"
" The child is only mine," Maryam gave her a straightforward answer.
Farnaaz said taking Maryam's hands in her hands," You are now the mother of Mikaeel's baby. Mikaeel has responsibilities towards you and your baby. I don't want to know how you conceived the baby because my only priority is the baby and her bright future. A baby needs both of her parents in her life. I accept you & your baby. And, eventually, Mikaeel will too once you ask for rights. I will convince Mikaeel to divorce that barren woman. You just have to ask for your rights and the rest I will do. Think about your baby. Your baby will need her father too. Once Mikaeel divorce Aurin, I will marry you off to Mikaeel."
Maryam heard everything properly but remained silent. She wanted to return to Mikaeel. She wanted to live in those previous times that she spent with Mikaeel. She was desperate to be his wife but when a chance comes in front of her, she was numb totally.
She recalled Mikaeel's hateful words and let out a sigh. Mikaeel is not her anymore. The place she used to occupy in his heart is now occupied by someone else. The love, the care, the desperation and the loyalty she has seen in Mikaeel's eyes for Aurin have chopped her heart into million pieces. Her Mikaeel is not her anymore. After thinking about all these she hardened her face and cleared her throat.
" Mrs Sheikh, let me tell you something. My net worth is *** million. Why do you think I will need your son to take my responsibility and my daughter's responsibility?" Maryam questioned and Farnaaz gulped down.
Then, Maryam said getting close to Farnaaz," I don't need your son, his money and his responsibilities to my daughter. I am enough for my daughter. So, you better stay away from me and my daughter. Moreover, you are forgetting that I am already married."
" I can take the help of law. The kid is Mikaeel's and he has rights on his kid," Farnaaz tried to threaten Maryam but she doesn't know that she has chosen the wrong person to threaten.
Maryam answered letting out a chuckle," Oh, Allah!! What a petty threat! Go ahead. I am ready to see how far you can go for my baby!!"
" You........" Farnaaz was stopped in the middle while Maryam leaned close to her ear.
Maryam whispered dangerously," Just because your son has fertilised my egg doesn't make him the father of my baby. Except for Allah, no one can separate me from my baby. No one!!"
Saying all these she gave Farnaaz a psychotic smile and then put on her sunglasses. Taking the kids with her she left the place while Farnaaz was gritting her teeth.
Out of anger, Farnaaz will just throw her phone on the floor when her phone started ringing. She looked at the phone screen and the call was from Ziya. Having an annoyed expression she received the call.
Before she could even say Hello, Ziya said something that brought tears to her eyes instantly.
" Mikaeel, my son!!!" She let out a painful cry and ran outside the airport.
Mikaeel's pov
" Ammi, would you please stop crying. You are behaving like I am on my death bed," I literally shouted at my mother with a pissed-off voice.
She said touching the bruises on my face," That girl!! She is just a bad omen for you. Look what those bastards have done to you!!
Well, I just returned home with my bleeding nose and bruised face. A loud hue and cry echoed in the whole house after seeing my situation. I told my driver to not say anything to my family members but in front of my father's interrogation, the driver gave up and spilled everything. And, as expected my mother is venting her anger on Aurin.
" Jamshed I want those bastards behind the bar whoever dared to touch my son. And, that bitch.........." She shouted when I snapped at him," Ammi, stop calling my wife with names!!!
" My wife! My wife! My wife! Shut the fuck up, you fool. That woman just let those people beat you into a pulp and still you are calling her your wife! When you will have some brains in this empty skull of yours?" She yelled tapping my head when I just moved away from her.
Today, Aurin's behaviour just stabbed right into my chest. I know that she is angry with me but how could she just humiliate me in front of everyone. She even left me in the public's hands to get beaten. I agree that the things just happened aren't easy for her to accept but still!!!! Can't she just try to understand my perspective for once? Doesn't she love me? How can her feelings fade away so early? How!!
I admit that I was an asshole to her because at first, I didn't have any feelings for her. But, slowly everything changed even before I could understand that I was falling for my wife. I was attracted to her because she was beautiful but after knowing her, her personality I couldn't stop myself from falling for her. I love her truly and there is no doubt about that.
I just regret that I let Maryam enter my life again. I never knew what a bitch I loved earlier. She fucking raped me!! To quench her desires and to vent her frustration she used me! I shouldn't have given her chances to get close to me. My foolishness just ruined everything. My happy marriage, my happy life with Aurin!! Everything.
Among all these, I just feel sorry for two people. One is my wife and another one is Maryam's daughter. I pity that kid because she will never get her father's love. Nah, except pity I don't feel anything for that baby. I can never accept that baby because I never wanted it. How much Aurin wanted a baby but.......urgghh!!!!!
No matter what I have to convince Aurin and gain her trust again. She can't leave me like that. Why would I suffer for the sin I never committed? I will fight for my marriage. But, the problem is Aurin isn't ready to even hear a single word of mine. How can I make this stubborn woman trust in me? I don't know. I am not seeing any path to solving this problem.
" Everyone leave. I need to talk to Mikaeel," I heard my father ordering everyone.
When everyone left my room he sat beside me and asked," That woman is Maryam right?"
I remained silent when he said," Now you understood why I was against your relationship with that barber's daughter."
What can I reply now? My father was against my relationship with Maryam. He never liked her. Now, I really feel like killing myself for going against my father and disrespecting him for a woman like Maryam. I wonder how Maryam turned like that? She wasn't this shameless.
" Once I told you that your arrogance and egoistic nature isn't good. Do you agree with me now?" He questioned and I agreed with him.
Resting his hand on my shoulder he said," I believe in my Mikaeel. I believe that my son won't step so low to cheat on his wife. I trust my blood."
" I wish Aurin could trust in me just like you," I whispered letting out a painful chuckle.
He answered patting my head," Trust in Almighty. He will show the right path soon and as for Aurin. She is an angry little bird but her heart is pure. She might be stubborn but she is a good human being. You have to be patient to handle this situation. You have to control your arrogance and try hard if you want to gain her trust again."
" For the first time, you spoke to me so softly. Did you consume something wrong?" I whispered but looking at his eyes I shut my mouth.
Yes, he is right. I have to try hard if I want to win Aurin's trust again.
