Title: The dinner with him.
We boarded a cab to Meliã Desert palm Dubai. The city of Dubai was exceptionally beautiful, who ever chosed this city for great relaxation needs an award.
From the minute we walked into the resort, all staffs was all over us. A young beautiful girl in her smart uniform led us to our suite. I was impressed. Everywhere was sparkling. We were greeted with a white and black mable floor when we stepped into our suite. The room was excellent. Everything organized, sparkling clean. I like overwhelmed, how i wish to stay forever?.
"Do you like it?" A deep baritone voice said behind me. It dawned on me we haven't said a word to each other since we began this journey except for the several times he asked if I was hungry. Mehn I am famished. "I love it" I replied with a smile. I grabbed my towel and disappeared into the bathroom.
When I came out, he wasn't in the room. He must had to gone to order something for our dinner but i do not think that was necessary, he could call the land line.
When i opened the closet, my eyes landed on a red long diner gown. It was really beautiful.. A note placed in between the collar.
Would you go on a date with me?
I smiled. "Riry" I heard a voice behind and turned immediately. I hadn't heard him come in. I chuckled at his sexy nickname and wondered if this was the man i got married to. He immediately got down on his knee. "I'm genuinely sorry and i want to make up for what I've done, if you could give me a chance. Will you go on a date with me?" I looked down at this handsome dude. What happened to the cold and rude Rowan?. "Okay. on one condition."
"Yes. What's the condition?" He blurts out and i almost laughed at the expression on his face. "You do not use that word on me again."
"I promise not to use the word ever, so help me God" He joked and that got me laughing. He got up and moved closer to me, our lips almost touching. He looked at me lovely, put his hand into his back pocket and brought out a silver neckless. It looked simple but pretty. I wonder how much it costed.
This man was filthily rich. I wonder how much this place costed per night. How much dollars it would had cost to buy a ticket to Dubai alone. My husband was rich not because I'm proud or anything but because it was simply the truth. "I love you" He mumbled absentmindly. It was so low but I heard it when he put the neckless around my neck. "Did you say something?" I purposely asked. "Not at all. Did i say something?" He asked back and i chuckled. "Funny" I touched the neckless smiling, "Thank you, Rowan. I really appreciate."
"I can do more for you, baby"
"Eh" This was getting really serious. He ran his hand over his hair and walked into the bathroom.
Rowan walk out of the extra large closet. He looked smart in his black shirt and blue trousers. He was putting on a very expensive shoe and he had his blue dinner jacket on the other hand. I couldn't help but admire his fine structure and his beautiful eye brows. This man was perfect. "You look gorgeous, Riry." He was lost in my eyes that i felt like grabbing and smashing my lips unto his. "Thanks. You don't look bad either" I said as i cross my hand in his waiting arms and we walked out together.
"As-salam alaykum" Rowan greeted the waiter who stood behind immediately we settled down. "Wà-alaykum as-salam" The waiter replied in his thick Arabic accent.
"Is it ready?" He asked and the waiter nodded. "Bring it now." The waiter nodded and left. "Is what ready?"
"I made a set up meal from a special foreign delicacy. You'll enjoy it" I smiled lightly. Aww..so cute.
"I'm coming" He said and left before i stopped him. "What exactly is he upto?" I turned around after seeing him disappear into the door way. A couple came in holding hands and laughing so heartily. She looked at the man again and kissed him on his lips. I smiled, they looked so lovely together. She disengaged running her eyes over the hotel and that was how her eyes locked in mine. She smiled faintly and started walking to my table before i could return her smile. She wore a white beautiful sleeveless gown that stopped above her knees disposing her tall slender legs.
"Hal ladayk sharik?( Do you have a partner?)" She asked.
"Sorry?." She realized she was speaking to a non- Arabic.
"Sorry. I mean do you have a partner?"
"Yes. My husband just left, he will...." A hand on my shoulder stopped me from speaking further. I looked up and saw Rowan's eyes piercing into mine.
"He is my husband" I clarified the couples and she smiled. "You can sit with us" I told them as they settled where Rowan was supposed to be sitting. He didn't look happy but sat down beside me. "Do you know them?" He whispers.
" No. I don't. I'm sure they mean no harm" I whispered back. "So what is your name?"
"I'm Aubrey and this is Rowan my husband" I smiled, "cute names you both got. I'm Sara and my husband is Saeed"
The waiter came in and dropped the food on the table. "This is it. Close your eyes" He sing sang. Acting all romantic today. I closed my eyes . "open"
"Wow.." I exclaimed.. "Guacamole" I almost shouted. I was also surprised. "How do you know i love this dish so much?"
He kept quiet and smiled. "Isla told you?" I can't believe I'm close to making a scene because of this meal. Isla and i had planned on making this meal at home. I had a taste of it in high school when we went for an excursion to mexico. This was the most delicious meal I've ever had. "She said it will make you happy" I smiled. "She made me extremely happy. "
"What is this?" Sara whined as she gulped down nothing. Mere looking at it, you'll swallow a big lump. But I'm good at sharing so I'm not eating it alone. I washed my hands and put my hand to tortilla chips, I put it inside my guacamole.
"Wow, this is really good" I exclaimed as i chewed it lightly. I coughed and Rowan gave me water immediately. "It's really spicy and i like it"
"This is one of most popular mexican dish. Taste and enjoy with me" I shifted the plate to Sara who had her hands washed. She ate it and i watched her eyes grew wide. "Wow.." She exclaimed. "I told you"
"Let's find something to eat, bro" Saeed said to Rowan who laughed. "These ladies are the same. They didn't care about us."
"If you're hungry, order it. You have the money." Sara said and i laughed. "Waiter"
"Please, can i have this dish?" He asked pointing at our meal. "Sorry.. The lady who made this has gone home. And no one can do it better"
I and Sara bursts out laughing. "Well, my husband doesn't eat spicy food, right hunny?" I asked and his eyes sparkled at how i called him honey. "I'll order something else" He replied. "Wait. Are you two on honey moon?" Sara asked.
