**Annabelle**
I'm in dire need of hearing aids. Stephanie is an all conniving bitch but how could she pull a stunt like this off?
"You're wondering how I did this right? Oh I know, I'm just that smart."
She boasted and smiled.
"Alright. I'll explain to the dumbass, that's you..."
She giggled finding her own joke funny.
"I got Renee to get the car company to hack their car and make sure a few things don't work the way they're supposed to. A fatal accident I assure you and it's already set. Nothing, I repeat nothing would hinder my plan this time."
"Don't you dare hurt them!"
I scream in despair.
"Oh darling, you had me all wrong. I'm not going to hurt them, I'm going to kill them."
She corrected and got up leaving the laptop behind.
My heart pounded furiously against my choice. In this moment I believe I made the right choice by staying behind. It was half baked now because I know of her plan but how would I ever be able to warn the inspector. Save Ava and Fallon's lives. There's no way Stephanie would be careless for a second time.
There has to be a way, anything. I have to warn them.
"Oh God Almighty, please show me a sign. Anything, I just need you to show me something. Please, I'm pleading."
I sniffled lightly and bowed my head.
Just then, faced down. Something caught my eye, at the edge of the room laid a carefully placed microphone. It was so small that it could be easily missed.
It flashed through my mind that the inspector was by the door. I thought it was a coincidence but it seems he left a present for me. It also seemed to be half baked for I had no idea on how to get out of my bonds.
"Here goes nothing."
I whispered after minutes of brain racking and finally coming up with a plan. I screamed at the top of my lungs without resting for one second. I screamed, screamed and screamed until I heard the latch click and the guard came back in.
"R-rat?"
I stuttered abd pointed under my chair.
"You fucking woke me up for a pesky rat"
"Please. Let me loose or move me. Please."
I faked a sob and pouted my lips as hard as I could.
"Alright. "
His gruff voice came through. He walked up to and cut me loose before walking out. I smirked as I heard the door slam shut. I reached for the microphone and turned in it. It seemed to be some sort of transmitter, I wonder if anyone is listening over there.
"Hello...."
I trailed off but received no response.
"Miss Sinclair, I see you got my gift."
"Why didn't you tell me about it?"
"Element of surprise. Activating it means you found something."
"Yes. She's planning to kill them both on the way back from the hospital. Their car has been sabotaged."
"WHAT!"
"Please, hurry up inspector."
"I'll have my men on it immediately. Meanwhile, we'll have you out of that shit hole before the end of today. You did good Miss Sinclair."
"Please just hurry."
I dropped it on the floor and prayed for their safety. I can only hope he makes it in time.
**Inspector**
A part of me doubted if she would find what I left her. I didn't even want to leave it in the first place scared I might blow her cover. I'm glad I did.
With my evidence and this bombing, I have everything to take her down.
I gathered my mind swiftly and we drove back to the hospital.
One could only pray we made in time.
"Right there!"
I yelled. From afar, I noticed Miss Mitch carefully help her husband into the car before getting in herself.
"Stop!"
I yelled but the car ignited.
"No! Stop the car!"
I screamed, the driver started at a steady place.
"Hurry, you need to...."
I was interrupted by a loud "boom" sound. The car went up in flames right in front of my eyes.
"Oh no! No! No! No!"
I screamed in agony.
**Annabelle**
The guard returned with Stephanie. He tied me up before taking his leave. She was back with the laptop and her seat.
"I promised you front roll seats so here we go."
She turned it on so I could watch. I tried to look away but it was way to hard.
"That's Renee standing at the sidelines watching. Now you watch..."
She giggled clearly having her moment here.
"Where's the inspector."
I thought to myself. My heart skipped a beat the moment Ava stepped out and got in with Fallon. The inspector was no where in sight and the car had already started moving at a steady place.
"No, please. Don't!"
I pleaded.
"Boom!"
She said and immediately the car blew up.
"No!"
I screamed, tears gushing out none stop.
"No! Please no!"
I sobbed hard, my whole body raking with tears.
"That's the end of the show now, Thanks for watching. There's been drama, suspense, thriller and most importantly, death. Now I'm done with them, I'll get started with you. Darling, don't think I forgot you."
Her words were getting Filtered. I was too busy sobbing and crying to listen to her.
She suddenly snapped her fingers and the door opened. I heard footsteps and the sound of something hitting the ground.
She raised my cheeks and it was a table with strange things on it.
"We're going to have fun with these. As a bonus, you get to pick which one you want first. If I were you, I'll go with the pliers."
My breathing hitched. She giggled even louder.
