**Annabelle**
Renee, my ex or should I call him a former client. The last guy I had to work for and have sex with before Fallon came on.
He's also the guy I crawled back to and the end result was; Fallon threatened his entire existence making me squirm in fright. That was the last I saw and heard from him.
"You've been doing everything?"
I ask just to convince myself. It seemed so hard to do it. Why would Renee do all this? What does he gain?
John says it was a woman in her late twenties. Did he disguise himself to look like a woman or hire someone else to do his dirty job. It still makes no sense because he has no objective.
"You're lying."
I accused and gritted my teeth.
"Ohh you don't believe me. After you and your boyfriend made a fool out of me, I vowed to get revenge. I took my time in doing that. It paid off because you and your so called friend are fighting over the same guy, not to mention she wants to rip you apart. Fallon the impenetrable fool is on the verge of going to the afterlife. I'll say my patience paid off don't you think..."
He cackled evily.
"Why?"
I asked breathlessly.
"What part of revenge didn't you understand."
"Fallon didn't do anything to you."
"No one makes a fool out of me. No one."
He thundered.
"So how did you do everything. I never thought you'll be smart enough to pull something like this off."
"You hurt me my love. You hurt me badly."
"You said you wanted revenge on Fallon and me. Why did you do those horrible things to Ava then."
He definately wasn't expecting that kind of question. He froze up refusing to reply.
"Ava's married to Fallon. Call her collateral damage."
He chuckled again evily but I just wasn't convinced.
"That's not true. You wanted to attack us. You went for her specifically."
"Yes because I wanted to turn you two against each other."
He retorted, I blinked my eye lids still trying to make sense.
"You said you wanted to get revenge which meant you kept tabs on everyone. You definately knew we weren't even talking. So you didn't need to do it, why did you go after Ava."
I asked more firmly. He shook his head then sighed.
"You were always so smart Annabelle. Too smart, get into the car."
He commanded and I scoffed.
"I'll pass."
"Get into the car now!"
He pulled a gun out on me, walked towards me and placed it behind my back.
"Car, now."
I gulped nervously as we moved towards the car.
"You're right. I wanted revenge on you and Fallon but someone who hates you guys even more wanted revenge on you three. Get ready to meet that person."
He says before smacking my head with the gun. I passed out almost immediately.
**THIRD PERSON'S POV**
One of the best investigators in California, John Murphy is seen pacing around the hospital of saint marry.
"I can't wait to solve this case."
He mumbled to himself awaiting the cleared footage.
On his right hand is a strange man wearing dark shades and reading a newspaper.
The security man walks out with a picture in his hand.
"It's ready Sir."
He announced. John stands up and takes it from his grip.
Embedded is a clear picture of a woman clearly in her late twenties. She looks beautiful and strangely farmilar. He feels like he's seen her before he just doesn't know where.
Just to be on the safe side, he shifts to the side and takes a picture, saves it in his phone with a smile. It feels good to crack a case.
"Thank you for this."
The security man nods his head and John walks away with his hands in his pocket into the cold evening.
By tomorrow, Miss Sinclair would know her enemy and he would get his pay and the satisfaction of being useful.
Another one case solved just like that. Everything seemed to be going well.
Just then, a silencer gun is brought out by a strange man, cocked and fired straight to John's head. It's a clean shot, a clean death no chances of survival. Blood is oozing from his head as he laid on the floor.
The man walks up to his body, takes the picture and rips it into tiny pieces. He takes out a lighter destroying it and blowing it into the air before taking his phone out.
**It's done ma'am.** He's dead, the evidence's gone. He says and hung up.
**Annabelle**
I opened my eyes weakly and the side of head hurt like fucking hell.
Everywhere was dark and I strained my eyes to see clearly.
I knew Renee was just too dumb to pull it off alone. He had Help from someone. That person hates us just as much as him maybe even more.
"Ohh, sleeping beauty awakes,"
Renee mocked with a chuckle.
"You know you're tied up, you give an amazing blow job. It's been a while since I got one as good as yours. As you thinking what I'm thinking."
He walked up to me trailing his finger on my lips. I bit hard and blood gushes out making me spit.
"Fucking bitch!"
He tries to smack me but scowled instead.
"Let me go clean this up. I was joking about that blow job but not anymore. Just wait,"
He trailed off and walk away. I struggle to get free but it seems useless, I'm tied down and Renee is going to do God knows what to Me next.
Like I said, my life is fucking messed up.
