**Annabelle**
Should I burst into laughter or keep it to myself? The look on Stephanie's face is kinda priceless. She turned red, like red freaking hot.
A new guy which I assumed was in the force totally saved Ava. He rushed after her and I couldn't get a glimpse of what went on inside.
I didn't really care though, Ava and her innocent baby was fine. I wouldn't have indirectly caused the death of two people.
"You look a little red Stephanie. Go cool off."
I mocked, each utterance dripping with sheer sarcasm.
"Shut up!"
She screamed siphoning all her anger and slapped me as hard as she could.
"I'll have to fix this. You just wait, I'll be back "
She wanted to leave. I sighted a mobile phone in the back of her pocket.
"Wait. Something's happening."
I made her focus on the tablet.
"What's happening?"
"Look closer."
She moved a bit, I quickly raised my free leg and stepped on her. She jumped slightly in pain, the phone carefully slipped away. I screamed to muffle the sound it made as it reached the ground.
"So sorry. I just wanted to exercise my legs, they were feeling a little sore. I'm sorry for being a bitch Stephanie. I'm really hungry, please."
"Alright. For begging, I'll have someone bring you something."
She smirked and walked away.
"Perfect."
I purred and quickly pushed the phone under the chair.
"Once I get untied, I can make a call for help. I just hope the phone has a map so I can know where I am."
I prayed silently. Moments later, a masked man walked in with a plate.
"Eat up."
He carefully loosened my binds.
"Don't try any stupid thing. I'll blow your brains."
He threatened before walking away. As he did, I squatted on the floor and pretended to eat. No pretending because I was damn hungry but still, I had to put up an appearance.
The moment I heard the door locked from the outside, I carefully pushed the food away and focused on the phone.
"Please no password."
I swiped and it open up. I yelped in happiness. I hasted my plan, went straight to the Google map. Once I get the location, I memorized it before dialing 911.
**911 what's your emergency?**
The lady asked in a sweet tone.
**Please help me. My name is Annabelle Sinclair, I've been kidnapped, I managed to get a phone but I don't know for how long, my address is... **
I gave her the address in a low tone. Suddenly, I heard footsteps walking towards the door.
**Ma'am....**
**I have to now.** I might get caught. Please hurry, two people's life are in danger. Ava Mitch and Fallon Mitch. If you can get this information to the officers it'll be really helpful. Just keep them safe.
I hung up, deleted the call logs and slipped the phone as close to the door as I possibly could. I stuffed a bunch of food in my mouth finishing the plate in seconds.
"What did you do!"
Stephanie demanded staring at me.
" I just finished eating."
"Where's my cell phone?"
"I have no idea."
I responded. She walked towards me and pulled me by my hair.
"I'll ask once, where is my phone!"
"I don't know."
I responded in a strained voice. She dropped me and looked around. Her eyes met with the phone, she walked towards it and carefully picking it up. I prayed that she wouldn't notice.
Seconds later, she placed it back in her pocket and walked away.
"Finally, a ray of sunshine. Help is on the way."
I mumbled in prayer.
**Inspector**
"Ma'am, I get it that you're scared. I would like to take you in and get a statement."
"No, I can't leave my husband. She might come for him next."
"Ma'am, I assure you I'll have my best men watching him twenty four hours of the day. I promise you that, I really need to speak with you."
"Oh, alright. But I can't stay long."
"Let's go then."
I surveyed the place and we quickly got into the can heading back to the precent.
**MINUTES LATER**
I directed her to my office closing the blinds to avoid snooping.
"Okay, ma'am. I would like to know why you think Miss Sinclair is responsible."
"She did this. She hates me. Firstly, she got back two weeks ago. On that same day, my pregnant was leaked ruining my career. The next day, I got attacked in my home. The next day, my husband gets shot and you witnessed what just happened."
"That still doesn't explain why you think Miss Sinclair is responsible. Do you have any tangible evidence."
"I don't. But I know she is. Annabelle hates me."
"Why?"
"I married the love of her life and I'm having his child."
"You think Miss Sinclair is out to hurt you because of your choice in love?"
I scoffed at the craziness. It seemed possible but I just didn't believe it. I have no idea why but I know Miss Sinclair is innocent.
"Yes officer. I know I sound crazy but it's her...."
"Umm Inspector..."
A fellow office cut her short walking in.
"We just received a very strange 911 call from Miss Sinclair. She claims to have been kidnapped."
"Did she say by who?"
I sprung into action. That's a lead I would definately follow up.
"Nope. She gave an address before hanging up."
"Gather as many men as you can find. We leave immediately. I'll be back Mrs Mitch. When I do, I assure you all will be revealed."
