**Annabelle**
What the fuck did I just do?
I wish I could break free of her hold and smack myself till I bleed. I couldn't have chosen Fallon over Ava.
I couldn't have made a choice between two people.
Stephanie was just getting on my nerves, I blurted out the first name in my mind.
Could her words have some truth behind them? Why would I still think of saving Fallon after all his wicked deeds towards me.
Does a part of me still have feelings for him? No!
I can't love someone like that! I just can't! He hurt me, betrayed me, my trust.
My family deserted me, my friends left me. All because of him and so there's no way in hell I love him. Quite frankly, I would rather kill myself than fall in love with Fallon Mitch.
Doesn't still answer the question as to why I blurted his name out. Maybe it was guilt for hurting him. I'm so fucking confused.
Now Ava is in danger. Her child is in danger. It's all my fault.
"In deep thoughts are we now?"
Stephanie clicks her heels as she takes slow strides towards me.
"Aww. Don't think about it too much dearie. Quite frankly, Ava was my choice too. Don't worry, I told my hit man to let her know that it's nothing personal. I'll let her know it was either Fallon or her."
"You're a psychotic bitch!"
I spat on her as hot tears tricked out.
"I'm not. I'm just a woman who got tired of being pushed around. I'm the victim in this story. You got to have your company. Ava had Fallon what about me!"
She shrieked running her hands through her hair.
"I got nothing. I was sad, deprived and depressed. No one felt pity for me. I'll make each and everyone one of you pay. If Ava means so much to you, I'll have her body brought back here. You can be rest assured."
"It won't be long now. Five more minutes. I'll be back so we can watch the show. I need popcorn for this. The action, drama, tears. The thrill. Oh I cannot wait."
She giggled then walked away.
Her return was a minute or two later.
She forced my gaze on the screen where we saw through the shooter's gaze. I clearly heard the magazine of his gun. I sniffled in terror and Stephanie clapped like the maniac she was.
Moments later, Ava walked out of the hospital.
"No!"
I gasped in fright.
"Let the fun begin."
She threw a popcorn catching it with her mouth.
**Third Person's POV**
"I will fucking sue this hospital."
Ava screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Ma'am, calm down. It wasn't our fault. We have no idea how it happened."
"If it wasn't for the Almighty, my husband would be covered up and heading to a morgue because of your incompetence. Oh you thank your lucky stars, get down on your knees and thank them. If my husband so much as has one slight complication. I rain hell on everyone here. Mark my words. He should be in perfect condition, not a strand on his hair missing."
She snapped, the doctor nodded then walked away.
"I'm so sick and tired. Let it be over soon please. What did I do to deserve all these things. No matter what, I'll protect my baby. That's all that actually matters to me right now. I'll make sure you're safe."
She caressed her tummy before walking away heading outside in need of fresh air unaware of the danger that awaits her.
The skilled Assasin patiently waited for his opening.
A smirk was plastered on his face the moment he received the confirmation from his employer. Simple order, shoot to kill. The target Ava max. Get paid and hire a bunch of whores for the night. Life is sweet.
**Inspector**
I have a really bad feeling. My instincts tells me something would go wrong real quick.
"Step on it."
I ordered the driver. We were close, I wanted to get there as soon as possible.
"We're here Sir."
He announces moments later. We all step down from the vehicle. I give the order to the tactic team to survey the arena and go check things out for myself.
From the corner of my eye and a photographic memory due to the pictures, I notice Ava walk outside caressing her tummy.
I also noticed a sharp shooter on the roof.
"Get down!"
I screamed and fired a shot in the air. People went scrambling and Ava ran back inside. The shooter was making a run for it.
"Snippet sighted. Heading east. I need all units there now!"
I screamed. I knew he would escape which is why I didn't bother to go myself. I had to talk to Mrs Mitch. Get some fucking answers.
"Mrs Mitch!"
I screamed running after her.
"It's okay. State police."
I showed her my badge, she calmed down a little.
"Someone just tried to kill you. I would like to why."
"It's her. She's trying to hurt me and my baby. Don't let her please. She hates me and she's gonna kill my baby. Please keep her away."
She yells frantically looking over her shoulders scared as fuck.
"Who's she ma'am. I can't help when I don't know what's happening. Who wants to hurt you."
"Annabelle Sinclair."
She responds making me freeze. The case is solved. It should be so why don't I feel good about the name I just got.
"Something is wrong. Something is terribly wrong. I can sense it."
I kept my gaze on her. She didn't look shady, just an expectant mother scared for her child.
