CHAPTER 21
Tealas' voice said through Ala, “I’m Here”. Alex gave Ala a huge hug.
Ala started shifting into Teala.. Teala is now furious.
Teala looks at Alex, “ I’ve Got This.”
As Teala runs up the stairs, she sees chaos.
Adam and his warriors are fighting off fifty men.
Some are in their wolf form and some in human form .
Alex tells Eric and Jeremy to step back and watch this. She smiles.
Teala ran into the center of the room and yelled “STOP”!
Everyone froze in place. No one moved.
Teala walked over to Adam and nudged him with her snout. He fell down.
“What the hell ?” Adam yelled.
Everyone was frozen.
“Take em out boys.” Alex said.
Eric showed Teala who his men were, and Teala released them by touching them.
The warriors started taking Rikers army apart.
Body parts are scattered all over.
Alex and Teala are covered in blood along with all the warriors.
All of a sudden faral wolves came from the woods and stormed the fortress.
We are doing all we can to fight them off, but Teala is starting to become drained.
Alex uses her powers, but she is nowhere near as powerful as Teala.
Alex is fighting two wolves, when she has had enough.
She grabs the chains hanging from her tutu and jumps on a wolf's back.
Wrapping the chain around its neck, pulling back with electricity surging through the chains and into the wolf.
When the other wolf swipes at her side, making her wince.
Blood is pouring down her side.
Teala rushes over before he could take another swipe at her. And
Set his fur on fire. He is howling and rolling , trying to put out the fire.
Teala is holding her paws over Alex’s wound, watching it turn blue and then to white healing instantly.
When she is done with Alex, she moves swiftly and starts healing the warriors.
“Where is Riker!” Teala yelled.
“He escaped with some of his loyal wolves.” Adam said.
“We were too busy fighting off his warriors.” Mikah told her.
“We don’t have to look for him, He will find us.” Alex told everyone.
“Where is Joshua?” Teala asked.
“JOSH?” Adam asked.
“Yes, Josh was here.” Teala said angrily.
Everyone except Teala turned back to their human form.
Teala knows Eric would have a fit.
Alex is smirking. I’m not saying a word.
Get some clothes on guys!! Eric said, with his hands in front of Tealas eyes.
“Hey.. I was looking at that.” Teala huffed.
“Hey.” one of the warriors yelled to Adam.
“We found three cells with people in them.”
“It looks like Riker was doing some pretty nasty things to them.”
Adam told him to “gather them up and make sure they're not dangerous.”
“Take them to the cells at the packhouse and get them cleaned up and fed.”
“I’ll question them tomorrow after they rest.”
Josh
Josh is in the back of Riker’s SUV with the bracelets still wrapped around his
His wrists. He is screaming in pain.
We can’t get them off until we get to my brother's house. Riker said, rubbing Josh's head.
I’m sorry son. There is nothing I can do. Riker is watching the bracelets cutting into his bones..
“Hurry!” Riker yells at the driver.
“I’ll kill that bitch!” Riker spat.
“No! This is our fault. Not hers.” Josh cried out.
“You're not thinking right. Once we get those things off you, you'll be reasonable.”
Josh passed out from the pain.
Packhouse
The warriors are celebrating their victory. Drinking and feasting.
Ala and Eric are thanking the warriors one by one.
Mikah is sitting at a table with Alex, and Jeremy.
“Soo, You aren't just an eight hundred year old wolf? Are you?” Mikah said smiling.
“You wouldn't want to show an old dog some new tricks, would you.”
Mikah said, wiggling his eyebrows.
“Umm,Maybe.” Alex said, looking Mikah over.
Mikah puffed out his chest and flexed his muscles.
Jeremy is watching the banter between the two.
“I got one better. How about this young pup here show you a thing or two.” Jeremy said.
“I thought you weren't interested. Alex gasped.
“That was when I thought you were a teenager.”
“Things have changed.” Jeremy wiggled his eyebrows.
“Hey!” I saw her first.” Mikah whined, putting his arm around Alex.
“Alex just giggles. “Sorry Mikah. I’m spoken for. He just doesn't know it yet.”
“But he will soon.” She stares at Adam standing by his office, with his father.
Both guys look in the direction Alex is staring at.
“NO WAY!” they say in unison.
Alex just smiles.
