CHAPTER 15
Eric is helping Ala pack to go to his pack.
“Everyone is excited to meet you.” Eric said, kissing her on the forehead.
“I’m going to Tyler mall with Alex.
“I need some more clothes to take with me.”
Eric is looking in her closet.
“What?” Do you really need more clothes?”
Ala looks in her closet and laughs.
“Well, maybe I don’t need more clothes.
“I would like to spend some time with Alex before we leave.”
“OK.” Have fun.”
See you at six pm.”And he kissed her on her forehead.
Alex picks Ala up and heads to the mall.
We both head to Earthbound. Ala’s favorite store.
Alex said she was going to Hot Topic. Her favorite store.
“I’ll meet you there in a few minutes.
“I just have a few things I want to get.” Ala said.
She went to the back of the store, shopping. When a kissed was placed on her neck
And then a sharp pain. Everything went black.
Uuumm, she awoke with her head swimming.. What hit me?
Where am I?
Teala, where are we? No answer. Teala? TEALA?
I can feel her. She’s Asleep. TEALA? I yell.
Looking around, I noticed I’m in a cell.
Padded silver manacles are around my wrist. I’m laying on a small bed.
I follow the manacles and chains to the wall.
What the hell? “HELP!” HELP?” I began yelling.
Looking around, There's no window. Am I underground?
Who would do this to me?
I have all these questions, and no one to answer them.
My head hurts.. the blackness came again.
The next time Ala woke up, she saw a tray with food on a table and a large basin of water.
With a sliver of soap on a towel.
“So, you're awake.. I’ve been waiting for hours.”
Ala looks up to see a man she didn't recognize.
“Who are you?” Why am I here?”
“I am Riker.” He said without emotion.
“Why?” I asked. “I will talk to you later, but for now, eat and rest.” He said.
“You are safe. No harm will come to you.”
NO HARM? YAH RIGHT! I've been drugged and stuck in a cage.
Harms, already done! ASSHOLE!
Ala watched him walk out and lock the door behind him.
Then she heard her stomach growl.. I guess I need to eat something.
The smell from the food invaded her nostrils.
I guess it wouldn't hurt to have a little something. Ala thought.
She finished her meal and drank the mead,
Then she began to feel drowsy. Blackness came again.
Riker
Joshua and Riker sit at the table in the dining hall at Rikers fortress in Mineola Tx.
You know they will come for her. Josh said.
They don't know she’s here..
We took her out the back door of earthbound. No one saw us.
I put sleeping dust on the counter and everyone was wondering what it was.
All the employees sniffed the bottle and had fallen asleep before I drugged Ala.
We are safe, for now.. Riker reassured Josh.
A beautiful female walked in, and Josh stood up.
Eyeing her cautiously, then turned to look at his uncle.
“Please set down Alaina.” Rike said.
Alaina took her seat and eyed Joshua from head to toe. With an approving gaze ,she asked
“So this is your Joshua?” She said in a sultry voice..
Riker chuckled.
Joshua puffed out his chest at the woman's wistful gaze over him.
She is so beautiful.. With long black hair, an ample breast and small waist and long legs.
She smiled seeing Josh look her over.
They looked into each other's eyes for a long moment..
Josh wanted to say MATE. but how could that be? She was human. He didn't sense a wolf on her.
Not to say it doesn't happen. It’s just rare.
“Hello Joshua.” I’m Alaina.
Riker cleared his voice. “There's time for that later.”
“Right now we have other things to take care of.”
They tore their eyes away from each other and looked at Riker.
Riker told Joshua, “ I need you to go back to the Pack house and keep an ear open to what's going on, and report back to me.”
“And what is Alainas role in all this?” Josh asked.
“I am a witch.” Alaina told josh.
“Holy Goddess!” Why is a witch here, uncle?”
“She is going to help with the transfer of Teala’s powers to me.”
“Is this going to hurt Ala?” Josh asked. concerned.
Alaina, scowled at Josh.” What do you care if it harms her or not?”
“Who is she to you?” Alaina said in a jealous voice.
“She is my.. My friend's sister and my pack mate.”
“Josh, don't worry about Ala.
She is under the influence of wolfsbane and a light sedative that we put in her food.
Besides, she doesn't know you're here.” Riker reassured Josh.
“Can I see her before I leave?” He asked.
“Yes, You know where she is. She should be out for another few hours.”
Joshua saw her in her cell. She didn’t have a guard. That’s Strange.
He didn't like seeing her in a place like this.
Ala slept peacefully on a ruff cover and a hard cot.
The smell was faul in the cells below his uncle's home.
Even though he could tell this particular cell had been cleaned.
It was still a cell.
She’s so lovely in her sleep.
She doesn't belong here.
What was he thinking doing something like this to her?
What does his uncle have planned for her?
Josh leaves his uncle’s fortress and heads back to the pack house.
PACKHOUSE
Alex ran into the packhouse yelling for all trackers to get ready!
Adam and Conner ran up to her. “ What's going on, Alex?”
“She’s gone!! She was just there and then she was gone!”
