There’s a sharp knock at the door, disturbing me from my depressing thought. I sigh deeply and get up from behind my desk and answer the door. I pull the door back and Luca is standing there with a bunch of wildflowers in his hand and a very sexy smile on his face.

“Anton will take you home to freshen up, then drive you to the restaurant.” He kisses me on each side of the cheek.
