Maryam's POV
I went in and saw mom standing by the window smiling at me "I see, you two are now very close"
"Mom....." I whined like a baby
"Come and sit,let have a talk"
We took our sit and I told her everything she needs to know. She felt bad for Kareem and at the same time she was so happy for the both of us
"I'm glad that this hatred for him has come to end" she said
"Yes Mom you're right, everything was totally not his fault. It just that the way he treated me was wrong but I think all was already in the past now,I should focus on my future
"You're right my dear....so when are you going back to your house?"
Huh? Going back? I never thought of it
"Mom we haven't talk that deep,for now we're taking everything slowly"
"But I hope, you know that you're still his wife no matter what,and you need to fulfill your duty as his wife"
"OK Mom, I'll think about it"
"Madam don't think, act on it. Is that clear?"
"Yes Mom"

Kareemah called to informed me about our meeting. I've entirely forgotten that we promised to meet today. I asked if she had inform my sister and she said yes,we conclude to meet in the next thirty minute before she hangs up. Thank God I'm dressed already

"Hi girls!" I greeted as I joined them
"Hey!" They both said
I took my sit and we ordered for something to eat
"Girls I'm really hungry, I haven't taken anything since morning" I said
"What? Why?" They both asked
"Girls...there's a lot to gist about,but first let eat our food" I said and they both agreed

"Guess I have a lot of gisting to listen to today" my twin sis said smiling at the two of us
"Maryam you go first " Kareemah suggest
"No you go first" I said
"OK girls,you two should guess what?"
"What?" We asked
"Khalid propose to me yesterday!" she happily said showing us her diamond ring
"Wow!" We squeal as we hug her
"Congratulations dear...I'm so happy for you" I said
"Thank you Bestie"
"Congrat girl....at least you'll become someone's wife very soon unlike some people" Mufeedah said eyeing me
"Well too bad coz I'm already a married woman"
"Married woman indeed....married woman who forbear to give her husband a chance"
"That's in the past...coz now I'm officially Mrs Kareem Abdulazeez" I said showing them my hand
They both looked at each other,clearly you could see the confused look on their face, all of a sudden they both screamed and hug me tightly
"OK girls I think...it OK... I can't breathe " I told them slowly and they release me from the hug
"Girl, I'm so happy to hear this...can't believe you've forgiven my brother " Kareemah said
"Of course I had too,I mean he came yesterday and explained everything to me"
I told them all what they need to know and Kareemah looked disturbed
"What happened?" I asked
"It about this Safeenah, I knew her to be a bad girl but it turns out that she was trying to play the good girl role to my brother,that's why he never listen to any of us"
"Really?...I thought as much"
"Well girls,don't you think we shouldn't disturbed ourselves on someone like her? She's no more,she can't be a threat to us again most especially to my sister. Thank God your husband said he has forgotten about her already,now it only you and your husband...I'm so happy for you sis...finally you could be with the man of your dream"
"And you Kareemah,you're very lucky to have Khalid as your fiancé, he's truly a great guy...I'm just so happy for you two"
"Thank you Mufeedah" Kareemah and I said at the same time
"So did our parent knew already? " they both asked me
"Only Dad and Mom knew...your parent are not aware yet" I turned to Kareemah as I said so
"I'm very sure Mom will be the happiest one if she learn about this"
"Yes you're right"
"I think Khalid knew about it too coz I heard him telling someone on phone to try all his possible best to make her forgive him,so it was you after all...girls I think we're lucky coz we're surrounded with great guys"
"Yes you're right! It just that I'm sad"
"Why?"
"What happened? " they both asked
"I met Mansur this morning but when I was about to explain things to him,Kareem showed up and everything turned bad. Though I was able to tell him the truth but I felt like I just lost a good friend"
"Oh girl! Don't worry, Mansur is a good guy,I'm sure he will understand. After all you can't force someone to love you,it comes from the heart"
"Yes you're right" Kareemah agreed nodding her head
"Kareemah you knew Mansur since your childhood right?"
"Yes I do"
"Is he a bad person? I mean Kareem doesn't like hearing anything about him,is there anything going on between them?"
"It's not my place to tell you but trust me girl it wasn't something serious,I'm sure your husband will tell you when the time is right"
"Really?"
"Enough with the past! I think what we need now is to celebrate coz this calls for celebration. This is really a great news my girls!"
"Yes! Let celebrate girls" Kareemah said

Kareem and I are on our way to his parent mansion. After having fun with Mufeedah and Kareemah,Kareem called and ask if we could both go and meet his parent to explain things to them and I agreed. Mufeedah drove back home,Kareemah took her car and went to meet Khalid in his office saying they have a date. I waited for Kareem to come pick me up and here we are going to his parent place
"I'm sure Mom will be happy when she hear the news"
"Yes Kareem,you're right"

The moment we entered the house, all the maids were surprise to see me and their young master together,and the worst part is that Kareem wasn't helping the matter at all coz he hold my hand tightly as if his life depend on it. We salam and enter the house
Dad was seated already and Mom was about to sit when her eyes land on us,the smile on her face brightened more and we move closer to them
"Good evening Dad"
"Good evening Mom"
We both said as I kneel down to greet them. Mom pulled me up and made me sit beside her. Kareem take a sit beside Dad
"My dear, please tell me what I'm seeing is true"
"Yes Mom,it's"
"Alhamdulillah...Alhamdulillah....Alhamdulillah rabbil alameen.....Abdul didn't you see the wonder of God?"
"Yes dear...this is really a wonder"
We chatted for more than 2hours. I cooked Mom and Dad their favourite food and she can't stop telling me how happy she was to see us together
We're about to take our leave when Mom told me to also extend my greetings to my Mom and so was Dad too

"Kareem you need to go home now,it late already " I adviced. It passed 10pm and he's still in my house. Mom and Dad are already a sleep
"But I don't wish to go" he stubbornly said
"Come on, it's dark already,you ought not to be out this late"
"Then come back home with me" he suddenly said
Huh? Home? His house? No I'm not ready to go back to his house...what if he changed again towards me? we just got back together this morning and he wants me to come back to his house
"Beautiful... I know what you're thinking, you're scared,but I hope you'll believe me when I said I'm now a changed person. I've promised my self that I won't ever hurt you again,you're very important to my life now,I made a mistake in the past but I won't ever repeat it again"
"But Kareem-"
"Maryam if you want me to swear it for you I can do it,just to show you how desperate I'm to have you back. Believe me I wasn't my self ever since you left me,I'm grateful to you that you've given me the chance to prove my self to you but how would I do that when you're not giving me the courage to prove it. I know I was a monster to you for the past years but that was the old Kareem you used to know"
"I'm different now,I promised you, you won't ever regret coming back to me,you won't regret giving me a chance please Maryam come back home,home is not home without you there
I sighed "OK Kareem I've heard you but please give me sometime to think about it,it was not that easy..I hope you'll understand me on this
Not that I still doubt you but I'm just scared"
"Please don't be Maryam,I won't ever hurt you again,from now on my priority is to always make you happy coz you deserve it,I was a jerk but not anymore. Give me the chance, let me show you how you were suppose to be treated, like a queen coz you're my queen"
"I'm ready to let the whole world knows that you're my wife,I'm ready to respect you,I'm ready to start eating your food,whether the one you prepared in the morning,afternoon or evening, I'm willing to do anything for you... But please give me that chance and courage to do so"
"Kareem-"
"OK i get it. I won't rush you again Maryam,I'll give you two weeks to think thoroughly about it, I'm willing to give you enough time, I won't call nor show my self to you but after that two weeks, I want to have a feedback from you,if you don't give me the answer I deserve in that two weeks, I'm coming back to take you to our house where you rightfully belong, whether it's your wish or not"
What? Two weeks with out seeing him? Is he crazy? I'll miss him! Did he really want me to be here for good two weeks without seeing him or hearing his voice? After so long of been apart, now this is what he's going to do?
"Kareem I can-"
"Good night beautiful " he cut me off as he kissed my crown head and walk out of the house
I stood there frozen looking at his back figure till I wasn't able to see anything again.
"What just happened?" I thought asking my self
I slump my self on the floor as I tried looking for my phone to call Mufeedah and Kareemah
