Maryam's POV
"You're right, Two years is not enough for me. In fact, I'll never make it up with you. So, it's better you divorce me and let's go on our separate ways".
"I won't" . He answered firmly.
"What?"
"I won't Maryam because I love you... I love you, I love you so much and I'll do anything, just anything to win you back" . I looked at him like he has just grown two heads.
Why now? I've been wanting to hear this word from him for so long and now that I don't feel anything again, he then decide to say it?
Are you sure, you don't feel anything? And could he really love me? Did he mean it? No! I don't think so,he's just a liar.
I hate you Kareem! I really really hate you!!
I sat down comfortably on the couch in my tight jump suit in the living room. House is really boring without Mom and Dad,they went to pay some family members a visit and till tomorrow before they return. I, Kareemah and my twin sister all agreed that we should go out tomorrow, at least have some fun. Kareemah said she has a surprise for us, I wonder what that surprise could be.
I sat down on the couch looking through Mom recipes on bakings. All of a sudden, I heard the ringing bell in the door,I quickly went up to my room and put on a black gown not bothering to cover my hair and rushed back to the living room.
Could Mom and Dad have arrived? But they had told me till tomorrow morning. Then, I thought for a second to check who was at the door, and all of my happiness died down all of a sudden.
What was he doing here again?!
I hissed and went back to sit, if no one answered him, he will take his leave.
Still checking the recipe, the sound was still disturbing me and I couldn't take it anymore. How dare him! Does he want to break my eardrum?
He can't be serious..can he?
My heart start beating twice than before.
I tried all my possible best to disregard whatever was happening at that moment, but Instead, I put on my earphone and connect a music.
I could no longer hear the ringing but I've started getting to have a headache, so I gently remove the earphone and placed it on the chair beside me. When I had done that, I couldn't hear the ringing of the bell on the door anymore.
Could he have left?
Idiot! What does he think of himself? He had said he would come and get really do. Can't he just leave me alone in peace? He should just divorce me and everyone should go on their separate ways. But no, he wouldn't. He's not ready to let me go and I'm also not ready to listen to him.
He was enjoying that ladies company a while ago but just why does he have to show up here again?
I feel like strangling his neck as I recall what had happened earlier.

It's in the evening as I was still at Mom cake shop. I'm now a graduate but was not ready to work for now. I just want to enjoy myself for now, Kareemah is busy with her new clothing line business and I on the other hand, was helping Mom out with her shop. May be it's because of my love for cakes, who know? I was at the kitchen preparing to go home as I was setting everything right before I leave when suddenly, I felt someone tickled me from the back. I smiled as I don't have to turn back to know who it was, sure there's only one person who could do that to me and is always used to it.
Mansur
"Hey there, Mansur!". I said as I turned to him smiling.
"How about we go out on a date?". He asked with a smile.
"But, you never told me you were coming here"
"I've missed you so much, that's why and I decided to give you a surprise" . He answered.
"So, what do you think.... dinner? Since it's almost 6:30pm"
"Of course"

I changed into another dress and went out with Mansur to a very high class restaurant. It looks very classy and for a moment, I thought I don't belong here.
"This place is really beautiful" . I said sincerely after scanning the place.
"Yes you're right...it really is. I heard that it was just opened last two weeks and this is the best restaurant so far"
"So, what's new Mr Shabsuma?" I asked him as we both ordered for our food.
"Mostly research,that's what have been keeping me busy this days...how about you?"
"Oh Mansur! You know I don't have anything special going on in my life except helping Mom in her shop"
Our food arrive and both of us started to eat.

I made an excuse to Mansur to go to the restroom, I really need to use it before my bladder explode. As I was moving towards the eight table, I stopped for a moment when I saw him.
Again?!
Why must he always ruin my day.
He was sitting across a lady who had her back at me. I was in total shock to see him with a woman I didn't know. I paused walking a little,he was talking and smiling at her and he didn't even notice me. Jerk!
I thought he told me that he loved me? How come he was dating some woman tonight? So, he was still around? It's been a while I had seen him.
I wanted to go and slap him and asked him why would he bring a lady here but restrained my self and thank God for that.
Why should I even be affected? I had given up on him already long time ago so why should I care if he's dating someone else. But what happened to Hafsa? Did he leave her too?
I started walking again, I was getting nearer when he finally looks up towards my direction and saw me. Our gaze locked with each other for some moment and he wide his eyes in shock? Well, I'm not sure about that. I never showed him any reaction as I just eye him and walk away and made my way to the restroom.
I stayed in there for about five minutes and refused to come out. What was I even thinking? Mansur might be waiting for me or probably wondering where I'm. I don't know why I have to cry because of this jerk, he really don't deserve it. I wipe off my tears and made my way out of the restroom.
Stupid me! I scolded my self.
I opened the door and almost bumped my face on his chest.
"What are you doing here?" . That was the first word that came out from his mouth.
How dare him! He had the nerve to ask me what was i doing here?
