How I feel
Landon.
"Vik-" I tried to calm Viktor down, but he interrupted me.
"Look Landon, for so many years, I've tried my best to live a secluded live as much as possible. I don't get involved in the matters of others and I don't appreciate it too," he said, using a face towel to wipe his face..
"I have kept this up for a long time until you showed up and since then you've showed an uncomfortable interest in my personal life and problem," he continued and I looked at him in shock.
Maybe he was right. I shouldn't have asked so much about him right from the start. I shouldn't have asked tried to know so much about a person that I just met.
I had been making him feel so uncomfortable and I didn't notice. Maybe I did, but I was just being too nosy.
"I think you're being too intrusive," he added and I nodded, moving back from him a bit.
"I'm sorry," I apologized, "I'll see you later."
I turned around to leave, but just as I got to the door of the restroom, he grabbed my hand from behind.
I stopped walking immediately.
"I'm sorry," he said softly and I slowly turned around to face him. I looked at my hand that he was holding and he took his hand away.
"No, I've been really intrusive and I didn't realize. I get it," I stated not wanting to disturb him anymore and I moved back from him.
"No, I'm really sorry," he apologized again.
"I.....I just didn't want you to see me like that," he said to my surprised.
"I understand." I nodded.
"No, you don't."
"My Grandfather was a power thirsty man and a manipulator who used me as a weapon."
"For so long, he used me to defeat his enemies and get more power," Viktor said and he swallowed.
"When I finally snapped back to my senses, I ran away as far as I could from him. I survived on my own for so many years and I did everything I could to get rid of emotional attachments to anyone." He paused.
"It took me so many years to begin to open up to people, maybe right up to this moment," he said and he moved closer to me.
He stared at me without saying a word and I looked into his bright blue eyes.
"When my Grandfather was here earlier and you confronted him, seeing him again brought back all the painful memories, but when you confronted him, I was scared," he stated, "I was scared that he might do something bad to you."
"And that was when I realized something. I realized how you feel about me." He paused and I gulped.
"I realized how I feel about you."
I stared at him, not knowing what to say. I knew that he was confused and not ready for the feelings he had. I didn't want him to feel pressured or anything.
"It's alright," I said softly.
"If you're not...ready." He suddenly moved closer to me and crushed his lips against mine.
I froze, but just for few seconds before kissing him back. I slowly placed my hand at the back of his head and my other hand on his face, kissing him passionately.
We both broke the kiss at the same time, resting our foreheads on each other and I smiled.
We both walked back to the sitting room and I sat down on a couch. Viktor sat down next to me too and I played with my fingers. I still had questions I wanted to ask, but I didn't want to pressure him again.
"You can ask what you want to ask," Viktor said with a smile as if he has read my mind. I wouldn't be surprised if he could.
I smiled and faced him, "your special abilities. How do you have them??" I asked and he shifted closer to me.
"Let me show you," he said and he placed his hand at the back of my head, pulling me closer and kissing me.
I felt a strange feeling in my head as I gave in to him and when I opened my eyes, I saw that I was standing somewhere else.
I looked by side and saw that Viktor was standing beside me. He smiled and nodded in the direction we should go.
We were in a street with several people moving around and stalls and shops set up around. I followed Viktor and he finally stopped walking as we got to the front of a black gate.
The gate was so tall and intimidating. Viktor grabbed my hand and he pulled me towards the gate, the two of us walking through the gate.
Behind the gate was a large mansion that could very much qualify as a castle.
We walked into the building and I began to hear loud groans and cries of pain coming from afar.
We continued walking towards the sound and we stopped in front of an open room.
A man was strung up with silver chains. There were several cuts and gashes on his body.
Pedro was standing beside him and glaring at him angrily. He was holding a large whip that was being soaked in a liquid - molten silver.
He raised up the whip and he whipped the man on the back twice, creating two deep gashes and causing the man to cry out in pain, his voice echoing around the building.
"How dare you lay your filthy hands on Jazel, you animal!" Pedro yelled and he whipped the man across the side making him scream out in pain again.
Pedro looked so angry and murderous right now, but he still had that Vampire beauty and charm..
I looked at the man, feeling a bit of pity for him, but I can't have any opinion now till I know who he is and what was happening.
"Who is he?" I asked Viktor and he smiled.
"That man is my father.
