I clicked my tongue and hissed. He was really stubborn and annoying. Why did he have to be so strong headed.
I was trying to be nice and caring to him, but he kept acting like I was a nobody to him.
I continued walking and hurried up to Dante again.
"I just offered to help you treat your wound and you surely heard me right?" I asked and I ran to his front, standing in his way.
He glanced up at me with a blank expression before trying to walk past me again.
"Why do you always have to be like this?" I asked and I grabbed him by his left shoulder to stop him.
He stopped walking and he turned around to face me.
"You can't keep behaving like I don't exist to you," I said, ignoring the look of anger in his eyes.
"I can do whatever the hell I want!" He yelled at me and he suddenly grabbed the hand I placed on his shoulder, gripping it tightly.
I groaned as he squeezed my wrist in his grip and he was doing it on purpose.
"You're hurting me," I winced, trying to push his hand away, but he refused to.
"Don't you dare talk to me rudely," he gritted and he began to drag me away.
"Leave me!" I yelled, trying to push his hands away as he dragged me across the building.
He finally stopped dragging me as we got to a separated part of the mansion where no one usually came to, but he still held on to my wrist.
"I told you to leave the hall earlier, but you didn't listen to me," he said, gritting his teeth and tightening his grip on my wrist.
So that is what this is about?? I scoffed.
"When I tell you what to do, you do it!" He sounded so angry.
I got angry too and I suddenly pushed him by the chest. He staggered back and let of my wrist as he almost fell to the ground.
"You cannot talk to me as if I am a slave of yours!" I yelled at him.
"You wanted me to leave, but I didn't so what's the big deal about it?" I asked.
"You're stubborn and daring that's it. I don't know why it ever had to be you!" He yelled back at me and I shook my head.
I scoffed. "Is this about Kiara??!" I asked him loudly and he seemed shocked to hear me say that.
"Answer me! Is this all because of Kiara??!!" I asked him again.
"You're damn right it is!" He replied loudly.
"It's about her. I love her so much and I can't stop thinking of you as a cheap replacement of her!" I felt so much pain in my chest as he yelled those words at me and I froze in place.
"You make me feel so irritated and uncomfortable. I wish that fate never brought us together and that I never met you!" He continued loudly and I pushed back the tears that formed in my eyes.
"I never asked for a second chance. And I do not want you in my life!" He yelled and he stopped talking, breathing heavily.
I've never felt so heartbroken in my life. It felt as his words were a sharp sword that shattered my heart into a billion pieces.
"Then let's end it," I said softly, sniffing. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing him cry. I have always suspected everything he just said, but hearing him say it was heartbreaking.
"Let's end of all of this," I repeated with my broken voice.
He stared at me in anger and confusion. He obviously knew what I was talking about so he must be so happy that I finally suggested it.
"Let's just end this right now! Let's break the bond." I yelled all of a sudden and he seemed surprised to hear me say that.
"I did it before and I don't mind doing it again!" I yelled at him. I cannot put up with a Mate who doesn't detests me so much and who sees me as a "cheap replacement."
The shock on his face slowly turned to anger and I saw his fists clench.
"Fine." He nodded and he suddenly zoomed away. He came back in a few seconds and he held out a dagger to me.
It had a familiar blue and red hilt and I remembered the dagger I used at Gemini Pack square the other day. It was that Silver Oak dagger.
So he held on to it this whole time. He must have already thought about it, so I'm going to give him what he wants.
"Take it. You're right, let's end this," he said, stretching out the dagger to me.
I grabbed the dagger from him and held it to my chest. Once I do this, everything I feel would be gone so I won't feel regret. I'll finally be free from everyone and I can go wherever the hell I want.
He rested his palms on his waist and stared at me expectantly. I know that I'm still going to find someone who is going to really love me no matter what. I'm going to meet the perfect person one day.
I gulped nervously and I held the dagger tighter to my chest. I felt so scared to do this right now. It didn't feel this hard to do when I wanted to break the bond with Jack.
I knew that Dante wanted this to happen and even if I didn't do it, I'm certain he's going to take the dagger from me and end it himself.
I won't give him the chance to be the one to break the bond. I gulped again and summoned up courage.
"Well then, I reject you. I reject you as my mate!" I yelled and I immediately stabbed my self in the chest with the dagger. I felt dizzy as my vision became blurry immediately and I soon lost consciousness
