I quickly stepped on the break as the car almost ran into a coming car.
I was so angry and annoyed right now and I couldn't think straight. I shouldn't be driving now, but that also didn't want to talk to Natasha.
I should have asked more questions when I first saw that Viktor was an hybrid. I had been working with a fucking RedWood all these years and I didn't have the slightest idea.
I felt so stupid right now. I was surprised with myself for letting him go though. The usual me would have held on to him till he gives me a fucking reason why I should believe that he hasn't been spying on me all this while or why I should trust him.
I guess it was because he was the one who saved us from the compelled Vampires and made Luther to back off.
But everything that happened could very much be acting so I guess the real reason was because I saw Landon kiss him earlier at the hall.
Landon was a friend and if there was some sort of relationship between him and Viktor, then I don't want to treat Viktor wrongly.
I'm still gonna be needing that explanation though. What his connection with the RedWoods is and how the hell he was able to do everything he did at the hall including scaring Luther fucking RedWood away.
I brought the car to an halt in front of the main pack mansion and Natasha climbed down immediately. I winced in pain as I unbuckled my seat belt. I got hit by a bullet earlier on my shoulder. I climbed down and I slammed the door shut.
My shoulder hurt and I quickly wanted to get inside so I could take off my shirt and pull out the bullet.
As I walked towards the building Natasha's voice stopped me.
"Viktor-" I sighed internally and turned around to face her.
"He appeared Human, how did he-"
"He's a Vampire - Werewolf Hybrid. Both scents cancel each other out," I said quickly as I walked into the building. I didn't want to talk to her right now after she ignored my instruction at the hall. I was worried about her, but she made me feel as if I was stupid for caring about her..
"You're hurt," Natasha said and she quickly walked to my front. I looked at my shoulder and ignored her, walking past her.
"Wait. Let me help you remove the bullet and get it dressed."
Can't she just leave me alone! Hasn't she gotten the message that I don't want to talk to her!!
I ignored her and continued walking.
"I just offered to help you treat your wound and you surely heard me right?" She asked, standing in my a way.
"Why do you always have to be like this?" I tried to walk past her, but she grabbed my left shoulder to stop me.
"You can't keep behaving like I don't exist to you."
I got angry immediately and turned around to face her.
"I can do whatever the hell I want!" I yelled and grabbed her hand, gripping it tightly.
She groaned as I did and I squeezed her wrist tightly.
"Don't you dare talk to me rudely," he gritted and I looked around to see if anyone was watching us.
"Leave me!" She yelled, trying to push my hands away as he dragged her to the other side of the mansion. .
"I told you to leave the hall earlier, but you didn't listen to me," I yelled at her in anger, finally letting her know how angry that made me.
"When I tell you what to do, you do it!"
To my surprise, she pushed me by the chest with an unexpected strength and I staggered backward, letting go of her. It took so much effort to avoid falling down.
"You cannot talk to me as if I am a slave of yours!"
"You wanted me to leave, but I didn't so what's the big deal about it?" She asked loudly.
"You're stubborn and daring that's it. I don't know why it ever had to be you!"
scoffed. "Is this about Kiara??!" She scoffed and asked.
What?? How did she know about Kiara? Immediately I thought of that question, I realized the only person it could be.
Nathan.
"Answer me! Is this all because of Kiara??!!"
Hearing her mention that name angered me so much and I flared up immediately.
"You're damn right it is!" I yelled.
"It's about her. I love her so much and I can't stop thinking of you as a cheap replacement of her!" She seemed so shocked and hurt by my words, but I didn't care.
"You make me feel so irritated and uncomfortable. I wish that fate never brought us together and that I never met you!"
"I never asked for a second chance. And I do not want you in my life!"
I vrwtwhei heavily, trying to recover my breath.
I saw tears form in her eyes, but I didn't expect the next words she said.
"Then let's end it,"
"Let's end of all of this," shenrepeated with a broken voice.
What was she saying? End it?
"Let's just end this right now! Let's break the bond." She yelled, confirming what I suspected she meant. She wanted us to break the Mate bond like she did with Jack.
"I did it before and I don't mind doing it again!"
Oh, so she doesn't want to be my mate. Well, she's not the only one.
"Fine."
I zoomed to my room and quickly went through my drawer. I kept the Silver Oak dagger I picked up on the floor at Gemini the other day.
It had a blue and red hilt. I found it and picked it, quickly zooming back to Natasha and stretching it out to her.
"Take it. You're right, let's end this."
She grabbed the dagger from me and I rested my palms on my waist to see if she would really do it. .
She held the dagger to her chest and I gulped. I hated that I felt so scared right now. This was finally the chance I had to free myself of the emotions I felt right now. The same emotions that caused me pain in the past.
I looked at her and I cursed myself at the bond I felt and the urge I had to knock the dagger out of her hand. I gulped and took a step back to stop myself from stopping her. I wouldn't regret what I don't feel again.
"Well then, I reject you. I reject you as my mate!" She yelled and just as I was about to run forward to it stop her, she stabbed herself with the dagger.
