Viktor.
I could feel the magic vibrating in the air so a spell was active right now. It has been long since I could sense magic.
After siphoning Landon at Duchester Hall, for a while I could slightly sense the magic everywhere I went to, but now it was stronger.
It felt like I had reactivated the abilities that I stopped using a long time ago.
I continued working and I clench my fist as I say for the magic in the air away..
I slowly began to hear the sounds that wete hidden before so I guess the Mage working for Papa at cast in silencing spell.
I heard the rolling up of chains, a silent grant and some whispers comments on inside the factory and I zoomed closer to it.
As I got to the entrance door I saw that there was another barrier spell there and I quickly siphoned it faster this time.
I pushed the doors open and I frozen as I saw who and what was up ahead.
I'm going to be killing a lot of people here today.
Landon was strung up with thick silver chains around his neck directly over a large cauldron filled with boiling liquid silver.
His shirt had been stripped off, but when I looked, there was no mark on his body.
"Landon," I muttered softly and he slowly raised up his head.
"Viktor-" he sounded surprised to see me and he looked around.
"Viktor, you have to leave, they are going to make you to-"
"I don't care. I'm getting you out of here," I interrupted him and worked closer so I could get him down safely, but I was stopped.
"No, no, not so fast," I heard Papa's voice and I look sideways to see him come in through a door that was behind Landon which four Vampires acccompaning him.
"I didn't teach you to be rude. Did you ask for my permission before attempting to release him?" Papa asked with a frown and his hands behind his back.
"You do not have the right to lay a finger on anyone around me because of issues between us!" I retorted angrily and a chuckled.
"Wrong and wrong," Papa replied.
"You are my boy so I have the right to do whatever I want when it involves your life. And there are no issues between us, I merely scolding my grandson," he added with a smug smile.
"You call that scolding??" I asked him and he nodded.
I glanced at everyone in the room one after the other and then look at the chains holding Landon up.
I was faster than them, since my body has been absorbing all the magic in the air since I got here, so if I could swipe all of them off their feet I could break the chains and catch him in time.
I was about to carry out the plan when papa showed the hand he had been hiding behind his back all this time.
"Before you try to make any move let me just remind you that with a single flip of this switch will loosen the chains and he will fall into this boiling silver liquid. It will be a miracle if you can find a single bone of his," papa said holding up a small remote control with a red switch.
I gritted my teeth, knowing that there was nothing I could do now.
"What do you want?" I asked and he smiled.
"Easy. I want us to go back to the way we were before. The time when nobody would ever dare to stand up to us," He said with a dreamy tone and I rolled my eyes.
"That's never going to happen. I have my humanity now," I retorted and he nodded, smiling.
"Well, it's not something that can't be fixed with a little something I got earlier," Papa stated and he brought out a syringe filled with a black liquid.
Immediately, I saw it, I had several memory flashes.
"Grandpa, please, let me go!" I cried as I was dragged by Papa's men.
"You have refused to feed on magic so you will be locked up!" Papa said angrily, ignoring my pleading as I was thrown into a room and locked up. I fell down as I was thrown, but I instantly got up on my feet, ran to the door and hit it.
"Grandpa please!"
The room was dark and I sat on the weak and tired after being here for days without feeding or eating at all. Papa made me kill a witch by deceiving me into thinking I was merely torturing them. When I realized what was happening and let go of her, it was too late and she died. He wanted me to do it again, but I refused and he got angry..
"Grandpa. I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. Help me." I said with the little breath I had as I heard footsteps.
I stood up and moved back as I heard the door being opened from the other side.
As soon as the door opened, three Mages were pushed into the room and the door was locked again.
Being in the same room in the Witches, I could sense their magic and just like a Vampire's thirst for blood, I felt the urge to feed the magic and life out of them.
"No.... no," I said and gulped, trying to control myself and I moved away from them.
The urge got stronger and stronger and I could even smell their magic. I found myself walking towards them and I groaned as I struggled to stop myself, but I kept getting closer to them.
As I got to them, the wizard tried to fight him, but I felt my super thirsty and angry and I kicked the man in the chest.
As the wizard got slammed against the wall, I grabbed the two Witches by the neck and he pressed my legs on the Wizard whose back was against the wall.
They began to groan as I siphoned the magic out of them. I felt so good and filled with energy and I could no longer stop myself until I siphoned every last bit of energy from the Mages.
I felt a darkness fill my mind and black lines formed on my face.
I let go of the mages who were already dead. Their bodies looked dried up and their skin was grey in color.
Filled with nothing but negative emotions and excess energy I walked back to the door and hit it heavily.
"Let me out of here!" I hear you and I felt so much power surging inside of me that I knew that I could break the door down.
Before I had to do that the door was opened and I walked out feeling extremely angry and wanting to make everyone pay.
Before I could do anything my eyes darted to the left and before I knew it, I was stabbed in the neck with a syringe.
