"Mnmp... I can't breathe Jawad." I said trying to pull myself out of his embrace.
"Oh sorry," he said pulling back.
"You love me huh?" I asked. He nods his head in return.
"Then what did I hear you saying on the phone." I folded my arms.
"Oh come on Farah, don't be clueless it's all for show." He stated as if it's nothing big. Realizing I didn't bulge by his words he sighs.
"I'm really serious it was all planned by me and Aunt to make you confess your love for me." He blurted out.
Wait
Did I just hear him said, Aunt?
Reaching for my hands, he took them in his and watched me with an expression that I knew well.
"Look, Farah, I can't sit by and watch my wife not taking our relationship serious, so I had to do something."
"So you act as if you're leaving me for someone just to hear me say the word. I take what I said back." I pouted looking down.
"It's too late dearest because I already know that you love me." He whispered pulling me in. I didn't try to hide away my blush even though he can't see my face.

"Aunt, I didn't know you guys planned this out just to make me confess," I said to aunt. We are now seated at the living room chatting.
A smile made it way out of her beautiful face. "You guys love each other, I don't know why you're hesitating that's why we came up with the plan."
"And you fell for it exactly how we planned it," Jawad added. I tried to reply but aunt beat me to it by standing up.
"I'm feeling sleepy goodnight." She said patting Jawad on his back.
"Night." We all said.
"Don't you think it's high time we get to bed I mean-" I cut him off knowing the direction his words are going to.
"No!"
"Oh come on we've been married for a couple of months now, we need to take it to the next level." He added following behind me.
"What did you say? I can't hear you" I said covering my ears with my hands and ran upstairs with him tailing behind me.
"Don't follow me." Turning to him my head bumped into his hard chest.
"Do you love me that much dearest." He teased. I hid my face more not wanting him to see how shy I am.
"Let's get you to bed," he stated after a moment of silence. "And don't worry I won't do anything." He added seeing my expression. He carried me bridal style and laid me directly on the bed joining me in.
"We didn't even change our clothes," I said.
"Don't worry about the clothes." He answered back pulling me to his chest. I melt in his embrace. A moment of silence fell on us, only our heartbeats could be heard. I closed my eyes feeling some sort of peace and happiness. Finally, I'm with the love of my life.
"I want to tell you something." He said breaking the silence. I hummed in return.
"Dad is not my real Father." My eyes immediately snapped open hearing him say that.
I remembered the diary I saw in the library at that time.
"What?"
"I know you're confused but let me explain. My real father passed away when I was about to finish university, due to an accident, he was in the hospital for two days before he passed away. That's the main reason I panicked when you got into an accident as I don't' want the same thing to happen to you also. when I graduated from university my uncle paid for my fees to further my master's degree in Netherland. I was very grateful that even though my dad passed away he didn't turn his back on us. After some months, my uncle got married to Mom and here we are now. I know you will be wondering why the family didn't tell you before the wedding it's because I told them not to, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." Something flicker in his eyes.
I know that look he must miss his Dad. My hands reach for his I squeezed it gently. "It's okay, I know it's not easy for you to tell me. So you and Khalid are stepbrothers?"
"Yes."
"Am I forgiven?" He asked again turning my face to meet his.
"Yes, you are," I said
"Okay let's sleep, we have a family meeting tomorrow." I pulled myself more into his body feeling his beating heart. For the first time in a while, I feel peace in my inner mind. Jawad has become a part of my life, I don't think I will be able to be apart from him.
"Why is your heart beating faster?" I asked raising my head to look at his face. A chuckle made it way out of his lips.
"Do you expect my heart to keep calm when you're so close to me like this." He stated tight-lipped. I resist the urge to laugh at his comment.
"Oh really? like this?" I pulled my body more to his body.
"You're testing my Farah, if I lose my patience you won't be able to-" I covered his mouth with my hands quickly. he licked it.
"Jawad!" I whispered shout.
"Ops sorry."
"Goodnight babe." He said kissing my forehead, my eyes closed on its own accord.
"Goodnight."
Wait did he just call me babe?

"Good morning." A yawn escapes from my lips seeing my husband dressing himself up.
"Morning babe, did you sleep well?" He said applying hair cream to his jet black hair.
What's with him with calling me, babe.
"Yeah Alhamdulillah. Are you going somewhere?" I find myself asking.
"Did you forget about the family meeting today." My eyes widen.
I almost forgot.
"Get ready the families are coming over by 10." My eyes flicker to the clock placed on the wall.
8:30 am
I have less than one and a half hour to get ready.
What I felt on my lips brought me back from my thought. My heart did a somersault.
"What was that?"
"A good morning kiss." He said shrugging his shoulders. I suddenly felt shy.
"Be well prepared because you're going to receive a good morning kiss and goodnight kiss every day and if possible the other thing." He winks at me with a smirk on his face.
Oh Allah
I reach for the pillow next to me and threw it at him missing the target.
"See ya." and he left the room not before winking at me. A chuckle escapes my lips and I find myself blushing by what he just uttered. My husband is so sweet.

The room was eerily quiet, we sat down facing the family. To say I'm nervous will be an understatement. As if Jawad sense my nervousness he placed his palms on mine whispering don't worry I'm here. And that kind of calm me down.
"I will go straight to the point." Aunt Khadija started. "A lot of things happened in the past and what we have to say is may Allah forgive our sins. I asked Aunt Fatima to keep an eye on you guys and by the results, she gave me I'm quietly impressed you two have mend your relationships."
"May Allah bless you." She said, "And Jawad I'm sorry for being harsh on you back then." She added.
"It's okay Mom." He turned to the rest "I want to use this medium to apologize to you all for the things I did in the past intentionally and unintentionally, I hope you will find a place in your hearts to forgive me." He said in a serious tone.
"I've forgiven you long ago, it's all in the past, may Allah bless you." Mom said.
"It's okay brother in law," Yasmin interjected with her toothy smile. A smile made its way out of my lips, it feels like a load had been lifted off my heart.
"Alhamdulillah we should thank Allah" Jawad's father said after keeping quiet for a while. Even though the man is not his real father, he didn't show any form of dislikes towards him. My respect for him grew more.
"While we're at it, its time to celebrate, let's eat out what do you guys think?." Aunt Fatima said
"Sure." We all said in unison.
"I'm so happy right now," Jawad whispered to my ear when the others left to get ready.
"Me too."
"I never thought I will fall in love with you, you're a blessing to me, Farah. I love you so much." He whispered pecking my lips.
"I love you too Jawad."
