"Don't touch me." She said. It took me some minutes to register what I just heard her say. I access her face for any form of joke but found none.
"Farah, don't you recognize me? It Jawad your hus.." I tried saying but she cut me off.
"I know who you are and I will like it if you will leave, I don't want to see your face." She spitted.
This is not the Farah I know.
Something must be definitely wrong with her.
"Mom, let's call the doctor to check her up this is not my Farah," I uttered once again, looking at my mom in disbelief.
"Nothing is wrong with her Jawad, didn't you hear what she said, she wants you to leave," Yasmin answered in place of mom, hatred clearly written on her face. I turned to Farah again in the hope that she will say something but, she turned her back to me, which hurt me greatly.
Not knowing what to do, I find myself slouching down outside the room. I rest my hands on my head.
You screw up badly Jawad.
Maybe she's stress up that is why she said that to you. It's okay. My inner thought assured me. But I'm not sure if I am well convinced about the events that occurred.

I can't begin to express how I feel about the situation. After staying outside the room for what seems like hours, I decided to check up on Farah. Pushing the door opened, I came face to face with Farah who is trying to remove something from her hair. I took my time to access her hair, this is actually the first time she let her hair loose, she looks more beautiful with her hair open. Her words brought me back from my world of thoughts.
"What are you doing here." She stated emotionless. Taking the seat beside her, I reach for her hand which she quickly resists as if I am some sort of dirt.
"Why are you doing this Farah?" I asked her in my most calm voice, getting silence in return.
"Farah tell me what's wrong, I need to know why you're giving me a cold shoulder." I ushered again.
"You want to know huh?" She stared at me almost in tears.
"You're the cause of all that happened to me." She dabbed her cold fingers on my chest. "I always taught maybe our relationship is progressing but it seems I'm wrong you can never change, you're still the heartless Jawad I know." Her words strike my heart, I could hear her sniffing of cries. Just as I was about to touch her face she stopped me.
"Don't! There is no point in showing your fake concern towards me." She spat.
"I know I've treated you badly in the past" I inhale a sharp breath. "But Farah I want you to know that I've changed I'm not the same Jawad as before." To say I'm surprised by her behavior would be an understatement. It's like waking up from coma has changed her completely. She's not like before. The look on her face shows hatred. Hatred towards me.
"Just seeing your face hurts me." She blurted out. I stared at her bug-eyed.
"I will like it if you leave." She said turning her back to me.

"Mr. Jawad, I think we need to talk to them again and convince them, we can't afford to lose this deal." One of the staff said.
"I don't care, if they're ready to sign to deal fine and if they're not that's their own problem, we find another." I roared taking the people in the meeting hall by surprise.
"The meeting is over," I stated sprinting out of the hall. I don't care what they think, I am clearly not in my right mind. I can't seem to focus.
It's been two days since Farah has been discharged, and she went to their house saying she doesn't want to stay together with me. I know she blames me for what happened to her and I will endure whatever behavior she shows towards me.
Slouching my briefcase on the couch, I went up to our room. Which is filled with her memories and now the room is empty without her. I stared at our bed and remembered the time she treated my wound. I was such a jerk back then.
I'm so sorry Farah for treating you badly.
A knock came through the door, Aunt Fatima face appeared behind the doors.
"Jawad you're back already." She said. Aunt Fatima is the only one who didn't show any hatred towards me a least for now.
"Yes Aunt, Assalam Alaikum." I greeted her.
"Wa Alaikum salam my son, actually I want to talk to you about something, but freshen up first I will be waiting downstairs." She said.
"Okay Aunt," I replied back.
I changed into simple jeans and a dark blue shirt, walking downstairs. Aunt is sited at the 3 sitter couch deep in thought.
"Aunt," I called her.
"You're done already?" She said offering me a smile.
I don't even know when last I smile, I don't have the courage to.
"I want to talk to you regarding Farah, I know what you did is really bad and I'm also hurt by your action, I'm living together in with you, but never once notice how you two are living." I couldn't bring my eyes to look at Aunty. She's like a mother to me.
"I just have one advice for you Jawad." She said adjusting the scarf wrapped around her head. "If you truly love her as you said, try and win her back but if you don't love her truly please let her go, don't hurt her more."
"Insha Allah Aunt."
"About your Mom, don't worry I know she's hurt by what you did that is why she's like this towards you. I hope everything will go back to how it is." She said standing up.
"And last thing Jawad, I will support whatever decision you make." With that being said she walked away living me in a totally confused form.
