"And no matter how you try I won't back off." Saying that I pushed him back feeling like my heart is going to explode by our close proximity.
"You're really something." He said storming out of the room. I sat at the left corner of the bed resting my head on the headboard.
Why am I being so hard on him
My heart is wanting him but my heart won't stop me from playing hard to get.
Ya Allah
I checked my phone's clock seeing that it's time for prayers. I carried myself to the bathroom performing wudhu and then spread the prayers mat and prayed Isha Namaz. Raising my hands up I prayed to Allah.
Ya Allah whatever insecurities I'm feeling make it easier for me to deal with.
Ya Allah give me strength and increase my Iman, guide me through the good path.
I stayed on the prayer mat for almost one hour praying and I feel so much better after telling my problems to Allah.
Prayer is the key to any problem.
After folding the mat, I laid myself on the soft bed letting sleep take over me with so much on my mind.

I stared at the pile of work on my desk. Today is going to be a long day.
"Mam, what should I do with them." Emily one of the staff said pointing toward the phone placed on her ear.
"Tell me we have to reschedule the meeting due to some problem," I answered back getting back to my work.
My legs had been killing me while sitting down for so long. I checked the time 2:30. Jawad is having a meeting in the next 30mins.
knocking on his office door, I tapped my foot continuously waiting for him to order me in but I heard silence in return. I knocked again still silence. Pushing the door open, I stopped seeing Jawad sleeping on the couch.
He looks peaceful, his brows squinted. My hands moved on its own accord towards his brows, I ran my hands on them gently, a smile appearing on my lips. My eyes went to his lips and I stared at it longer than I intended to, how will it feel being kissed by this lips.
"Like what you see." I heard him say all of a sudden making me stop my action.
Poor Farah you're caught red-handed staring at your husband. On top of that his lip.
"Um..I. Was-" I stuttered finding the words to say my heart increasing it's beating speed. I stood up composing myself.
"You what?" He asked a smirk appearing on his lips.
"I.."
"Uhm..." He folds his hands across his chest waiting for me to talk.
"Tell me." He said again taking a step towards me. I took a step back my back almost hitting his desk.
"Careful." He said encircling his hands on my waist. A shiver ran down my spine.
"Why do you seem so nervous all of a sudden." He whispered moving a strand of hair from my face and moving his body closer to mine.
"Jawad stop someone might see us." I finally muster the courage but it seems my words didn't affect him a little bit. He did something unexpected crashing my body in his. I tried to free myself from his embrace but in vain, he pulled me more to his body. After some time my body relaxes.
"Why are you being so hard Farah? You and I both know what we feel about each other, so what's stopping you." He whispered.
"I know you're doing all this to test me but it makes my love for you so strong." He inhales a breath and continues. "I want you to know that I love you with all my heart Farah." I felt weak by his words.
"Look into my eyes and see if you think my words are not sincere." I stared at them finding myself lost in them. His eyes doesn't show a bit of a lie. We stood at the position for what felt like hours until the buzzing of the phone interrupted us.
"Excuse me." He said taking the phone behind me, that gives me a cue to escape. The moment I sat on my desk, I placed my hands on my beating heart.
What are you doing to me Jawad?

After we're done in the office, I told Jawad to drop me off at my mom's house what I didn't expect is to see him talking to my mom freely although Yasmin had been throwing playful daggers at him.
See your Mom and sister are getting along with him then what more do you want him to prove.
"Good to go?" I said but it came out as a question.
"You should stay for a while you just came not long ago," Mom said.
"No Mom it's okay, next time she's going to spend the night here." He ushered giving my mom a smile. The respect he showed to my mom made something twitch in my heart.
On our way back home, I came to a decision that I will give our relationship a chance. The car came to a halt in front of the house. Before I open the car door Jawad beat me to it.
"Thanks," I muttered getting a smile in return.
What's gotten into him today.
Stepping inside, I immediately went to my room leaving Jawad seated at the dining with Aunt.
After praying and changing into my Nighty, I slouched down on the bed. What happened at the office flashed through my mind, a smile made it way out of my lips. Tomorrow I'm going to talk to him, I know he will be happy.

"Good morning Aunt," I said sitting down on the dinning. Today is Saturday meaning no work no stress.
"Good morning Farah, how was your night."
"It was fine," I answered back. My eyes went to the direction of the stair.
When is he coming down
Or has he left for office? Sometimes he works on Saturday also.
The first thing I saw is his legs walking down the stairs followed by his face which looks brighter.
I find myself smiling.
"Good morning Aunt." He greeted.
"Good morning my son."
"Assalam Alaikum," I said in my Most calm voice.
"Wa Alaikum salam." He answered checking his phone without looking at me.
What is this?
"Aunt just give me a cup of coffee, I'm getting late I have an important meeting in the next 30minute." He said.
I think our talk has to wait.
