It took me a minute to register what just happened.
Did he just ignore me?
My lips form an 'O' seeing Aunt confused gaze on me. Did I say it out loud?
I ate my breakfast in silence, thanking Allah for providing us with food and shelter.
"Farah I will be stepping out for a bit can you help me with the dishes," Aunt said from the kitchen.
"Okay Aunt," I answered back, packing the plates in front of me and took them to the kitchen. Since today is a work-free day, washing the dishes won't be a problem.
After I'm done with the dishes, I took Jawad's laptop and search for some movies finding none.
What's the use of buying the laptop when he's not going to use it.
I connect my phone's internet with the laptop searching for Frozen 2. I downloaded it immediately.

My mind is occupied with what I'm watching I didn't even notice someone sitting beside me. My eyes widen in surprise.
"When did you come back?" I asked him.
"You were busy with your movie how would you know the time I came back." He said back folding his hands across his chest. I resist the urge to roll my eyes.
"What's that suppose to mean?."
"I don't know." He shrugged.
"What's the name of the movie you're watching," he said again.
"I know you won't know the name since you don't watch movies that much but it's called Frozen."
"What told you I don't watch movies, I watched a lot of movies and why are you using my laptop." He ushered back.
"I see that you rarely used it so..." I trailed off.
"I need to rest a bit, I'm so tired." He said standing up. "And I won't be cooking tonight."
What?
I was literally waiting for night to come to eat his food and now he's saying he won't cook.
After I'm done with the movie, I decided to call Myrah I suddenly missed her. She picked up at the first ring.
"Hey girl what's up?." She cheerfully said from the other end.
"Fine I just missed you so I decided to call you, how's over little baby and Khalid?"
"Little baby is doing just fine he's even kicking telling me to greet his Aunt Farah and Khalid he's good he just stepped out now." I let out a sigh.
"Did I just sense something?" She asked.
"No nothing," I answered quickly.
"Farah I don't know what to say to you again, Jawad told me everything," "seriously are you a kid? You already know how he feels about you then what's stopping you, don't let him get away from you while you're busy ignoring him"
"I know you love him, follow your heart." This time around there was no joke in her tone. The line went quiet for a while, not knowing what to say.
"Are you there?" She said.
"Yes"
"Please Farah don't let him suffer like this, take your relationship to the next level. I want to see little Farah and little Jawad." She teased. I felt shy by her words.
What will it be like to hold my child in my arms?
"I have to go, Khalid, is back, think about what I said, the next time you call I want to hear good news." She said and the line went quiet.

The weekend goes by quicker than I thought and now I'm in my office doing some paperwork. The landline buzzed on the table.
"Hello, Farah speaking."
"Come to my office."
"Do you need anything, sir," I said while closing the door behind me.
"Yes." He stated.
"What do you need sir?"
"You." My brows furrowed in confusion. I tried to hide away my blush when realization hit me.
Why is he always talking sweetly to me at work?
"Come sit I want to have lunch with you I have already ordered." He answered when he noticed my expression.
Just as I sat down, a knock came from the door. Standing up he went towards the door and collect the package.
"Thank you." I heard him say.
I watched him while he arranged the food on the small center table.
Should I tell him now?
"Just say what's on your mind."
I will just tell him when we reach home.
"What made you think I have something to say?" I asked.
"I know it when something is on your mind, okay let's eat."
"Oh, I almost forgot, the packages are ready for shipping I've already discussed with Mr. Felix," I said taking a bite of my pizza. He nods his head in return with a smile.
If there is one thing I like about Jawad is his smile. His smile is what made me fell in love with him.
Crazy right?

"Are you cooking tonight?" I find myself asking. A smirk appears on his lips.
"Why? Do you like my food that much." He asked
"No, it's not that I like your cooking. maybe Aunt will think you're cooking so she will not cook dinner." I muttered turning my face towards the windows in embarrassment.
"Just admit it you like my food." He teased with a chuckle.
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
And that's how we reached home with him teasing me.
"Aunt did you make dinner," Jawad asked Aunt.
"Yes, I just finished setting the table, I know you will be tired from the office so I decided to just cook." She said. Jawad turned his gaze towards me with a grin on his face.
We ate in silence with me throwing daggers at him the smirk didn't leave his face."

I watched my reflection on the mirror. I look different with my hair down Let's do it, Farah. My mind assured me. I stood in front of jawad room breathing in and out.
I can't believe I'm doing this.
"Jawa-" the smile immediately left my face hearing what Jawad just said.
Don't worry I'm just waiting for the right time to leave her.
I can't believe what I'm hearing, tears begin to well up in my eyes. I was about to turn when my hand came in contact with a nearby vase making him turn his face, his eyes widen in shock.
"Farah"
Covering my mouth with my hands I ran out of his room.
"Wait Farah listen to me." He shouted catching up to me and turned me facing him.
"You're such a good pretender, who is the one begging me to give him a chance telling me he loves me, I can't believe I was being foolish again to believe that maybe you've changed but I'm wrong."
"You hurt me Jawad not once but twice. I regret falling in love with you, I regret thinking of giving our relationship a chance." I didn't try to wipe the tears off my eyes. I have to let it out, maybe I will feel a little better from my aching heart.
"I love you."
"With all my heart but you've crushed my heart, I'm so stupid for loving you even though I know you will never love me ba-" the words caught up in my throat when he pulled me to his body.
"Ya Allah, I've been waiting for so long to hear you say that word." He tightens his hold on me.
"I love you so much, Farah."
