Ehan’s P.O.V.
After driving for few hours straight while trying shut the disturbing thoughts, I ended up at the beach which once used to give me solace.
“No. There was no way I was going to be sad thinking of that woman.” I mentally snapped at myself.
“Naira and Parth are together now.” this thought appeared into my mind again and I kept walking by the beach thoughtlessly but at some point I felt someone walking by my side. Turning to my side, I saw Naira. She was just walking by my side silently.
I looked here and there to find that guy Parth with her but didn’t find anyone. I gave her a questioning look and got uttering, “What are you doing here? By any chance if you are here to lecture on me for behaving like that to that woman, then just leave it.”
She got uttering, “I am not here for that.” I gave her a questioning look but when she didn’t utter anything, I also got silent.
We kept walking like that for some time. The silence wasn’t awkward though. It made me go back to that time when we visited beach together. When the matter of her choosing Parth for marriage popped in my mind once again, I spoke up without bothering to look at her. “So you have taken a decision already?”
Giving me a surprised look, she spoke up, “What decision?"
I stopped walking and turned towards the sea and uttered with a forced smile, “Marrying Parth.”
She got uttering in a confused voice, “What?”
But without bothering to look at her, I spoke up, “I heard you guys are getting married.”
With the same tone she again spoke up, “Who told you about this?”
I didn’t utter anything but turned to face her as she spoke up then in a calm voice, “I am not marrying Parth neither he wants to marry me. It’s just a misunderstanding.”
Though I felt relieved but couldn’t get to utter anything for a while. Was this because of me?
Giving it a thought when I was about to utter something, she spoke up in between, “Do you like Stella?” getting me all shocked.
When I got answering, “No.”, she turned to me and asked again, “What were you doing with her then in that mall?”
“We were just..” she didn’t let me complete and got uttering all seriously, “Do you know she likes you?”
I tried to act casual and got uttering, “Really!” only to get her irritated.
At some point she again spoke up, “I am happy that you moved on. She really likes you. Don’t hurt her.” But she looked sad.
I wasn’t understanding what exactly she was thinking as that day I didn’t find her giving me a single glance back and now she was asking me this.
Being all clueless about what to say, I just kept staring at her who turned towards the sea.
I knew Naira still loved me but she was being afraid to accept her feelings after getting hurt. I also knew what her answer would be if I again ended up asking her to trust me.
So leaving that topic, I tried to divert her mind and spoke up, “How did you get to know I would be here?”
While uttering, “I just guessed. Anyways shouldn’t we leave now? Otherwise we will be late” she turned to me.
I gave her questioning look as I got asking, “Late for what?”
She gave me a casual look and got uttering, “Aren’t you coming with us to the resort for Akash’s wedding?”
“I thought you wouldn’t like it.”
Hearing me, she uttered again with her all casual tone, “Why wouldn’t I? and besides you are Akash’s friend. So you should be there. And by the way Stella will also be coming.”
Here she went on again. Was she trying to get Stella or me together or what? Ridiculous!
I thought of yelling at her for bringing up Stella between us and screaming, “I just love you.” But suppressed it within and forcing a smile on my face, spoke up, “Then I will be there also.”
This time she turned to me but her expression was all casual which made me irritated.
“Let’s go then.” Saying this, she started walking towards the road.
I kept standing still while uttering under my breath, “By the way what brought her here!” only to get her turning behind after a while as she got uttering, “Aren’t you coming?”
Before I could say anything, all of a sudden it started raining.
For few moments we kept staring at each other and then she started running towards my car uttering, “Come fast.”
We got into my car and she started drying her hair with her fingers which got me staring at her again like that day.
“Will we be again like that day!” I wondered keeping eyes still on her but one thing I knew for sure that giving up was definitely not an option left for me.
When I found her turning to me, I started the car and drove to her place. Leaving her there, I left uttering, “You guys go. I will be there after completing some important work.”
Naira’s P.O.V.
After thinking for a while, I forwarded towards the beach remembering him saying once about going to the beach whenever he got upset where he took me once.
I turned to Parth and uttering, “I have remembered some work. Got to go.”, I got a taxi and left from there.
Arriving there, I saw a car parked by the road side. I got down from the taxi and paying him, I entered the beach area and found Ehan walking by it.
Seeing him all right, I let out a breath and kept standing there staring at him. When I found him just going on with walking by the beach without turning nowhere, I got near him.
At first he didn’t even notice my presence. I didn’t know what he was thinking but whatever it would be, he did look far away lost. So I didn’t leave him alone there.
While talking I thought of making it clear that Stella liked him and he would not hurt her. I thought he would say otherwise but it looked like he had also started liking her.
Though I wasn’t feeling all okay with it but kept myself casual.
After staying there for a while, I spoke up about leaving as I thought he would also accompany us to the resort but said otherwise.
But when I uttered about Stella, he agreed immediately to my irritation. Being unable to handle anymore, I forwarded to leave but the rain and its timing.
I turned to him only to find him looking at me already. For few moments I forgot everything and kept staring at him. When I got out of my stance, I ran towards the car asking him to come fast.
I thought of getting a taxi but nothing got into my eye sight and despite my wish, I got into Ehan’s car not to get drenched.
He dropped me at my place and left.
I entered the mansion and found everyone was done with their packing and all ready to leave for the resort. I rushed to my room. Taking a quick shower, I also got ready and got downstairs.
After some time we left for the resort. When we reached there it was afternoon and found Alina and her family present there already. Settling down in our respective rooms, we got downstairs and sat in the living room and started gossiping.
Mack and Rivan was already there but Ehan wasn’t. At some point I started getting worried as many what if questions popped into my mind.
I was about to call him when I saw him entering the living room with Stella all smilingly. My worriness got subsided by irritation and anger and I got uttering under my breath, “Was it his important work to bring Stella here!”
They sat with us in the living room and started gossiping all happily.
Being all annoyed at some point, I got uttering, “I should go and check the arrangements once.” and left from there without giving any chance to them to say anything....
