Ehan’s P.O.V.
I didn’t actually think Naira would really report me to the cop like this and got dumbfounded for a moment. When she left, I tried to talk to the cop and make him understand that we knew each other but nothing got working rather he got angrier on me thinking I was lying.
Confiscating my phone, he ordered some other officer to lock me up with real criminals to teach me a lesson on top of that.
To save myself, I even needed to fight with those criminals. I kept waiting for Naira impatiently as she was the only one who knew about my whereabouts and I had a strong belief that she would come.
And after two crazy days when she really did come, my pain was long forgotten rather I was happy seeing her concerned about me. Though seeing me like this, she felt hurt.
My lawyer handled the case and at some point we got out of the police station. Though I asked her but I wasn’t sure she would really go with us but she agreed. Seeing my condition, she was feeling guilty. It was all over her face.
Arriving the hotel, Naira left for her room. Uttering, “You go ahead, I am bringing the first aid box.” Rivan left.
I forwarded towards my room followed by Mack. Entering there, Mack got uttering, “Are you out of your mind? How could you think of staying there when you could get out by yourself, Ehan? Even if you could be thoughtless at times, this was just too much. Naira was about to leave today. Thankfully, we reached her while searching for you. What would happen if she had left already!”
Without answering his question, I forwarded towards the washroom. Getting a long shower by the time, I was back, Rivan was already there. He putted some bandages on the scratches forcefully and Mack got uttering again, “We are going back tomorrow, Ehan. And you are going with us as well.”
“I am tired, Mack. Let’s talk later.” Saying this, I got on the bed and lied down.
As two days I passed in the cell by barely sleeping, I fell asleep immediately but later at night I got awaken up having a dream. Though I couldn’t remember it but I could feel it wasn’t something pleasant. I gulped down some water and tried to calm myself down. Giving my thought a break, I lied down on bed again but couldn’t get to sleep after that.
At some point, I forwarded towards the roof and sat on a bench. Looking at the sky, I got thinking about my life.
My thought got interrupted when I heard Naira uttering, “Shouldn’t you be taking rest now?”
I knew she was worried about me. So I tried to lighten up the environment but ended up getting it intense.
Then hearing her, I also thought of speaking my mind and so I went on....
Naira’s P.O.V.
When hearing Ehan, I still kept silent, he got uttering, “I love you, Ira.
I regret pushing you away. You know if I could, I would have turned back time to that day. It had been my earnest wish since that day.
I agree I started all this because of that dare but by the time it reached the end point dare anymore. I liked to spend time with you. The moment I realized my feelings for you, I tried to run away. I tried to run away from you like a coward because frankly speaking I was scared.
Maybe this will sound like an excuse to you but I was afraid that I might not be good enough for you and you would leave me at some point like my mom did to dad. But I failed. I failed because I started having feelings for you without even realizing.
When I realized, it was already late. I searched for you a lot but you were nowhere. Then I thought I would have to stay alone forever and it was my punishment.
Because while winning that dare, I had lost myself. But when I saw you again and I couldn’t control myself anymore.”
I got all silent hearing him for few moments and couldn’t get to decide what to say other than this. “Ehan, I don’t love you anymore.”
He got silent and kept staring at me for few moments. Then nodding at me, he spoke up again, “Okay fine.”
I thought he would give it a break now but no..
Ehan’s P.O.V.
Hearing Naira, I got all silent for few moments. I knew she wasn’t being able to accept her feelings again given our history. But her calm voice gave me a positive vibe. Giving it a good thought, I got uttering again, “Okay fine. I totally respect that.
And I am not asking you to change your mind or like me again now. But let me like you. Just leave me be. Don’t worry. I won’t stress you out anymore. I will now never interfere with your peaceful life. Things can stay like this. Then one day if you can open up to me again, change your mind and look at me. You can take all the time you want. I will be waiting.”
“But Ehan..” She tried to say something but I didn’t let her complete and spoke up, “When are you going back home? Let’s go back together.”
“I need to be here for few more days. You go back.” Saying this, Naira left from there before I could say something.
I kept sitting for a while there after that and then got back to my room. I was about to get on the bed but got stopped as my phone rang off. It was Akash.
As soon as I received the call, he got uttering, “Are you okay?”
Being confused, I got uttering, “I am fine. Why?” only to get him uttering, “Mack called.”
“Hmm. I am okay. Don’t worry.” I uttered calmly.
After few moment of silence, Akash again got uttering, “Are you coming back tomorrow?”
“I am not sure. Only if Naira” Akash didn’t let me complete and spoke up, “Naira is coming back tomorrow.”
I spoke up being confused, “But she said she will be here for few more days.”
“That’s not possible. She has to come back tomorrow. Dad is planning something for her.” There was something in Akash’s voice that I couldn’t help uttering, “Something means?” only to get shocked hearing his answer…
