The problem is that we were only cleaning the washroom used by the guards. I went near Mike who was assessing the place quietly. I saw two guards who were giving us direction. They had all kinds of protection whether it is man powered if machine powered. It was a maximum security prison literally. The first thing we had to do is find my mate.
"This has changed so much. I'm not being able to identify where the prison location is exactly", he told me.
"Don't fret. We will find away. I gave him in an indication towards the guard. He nodded his head and pressed his palm to his chest. I looked around and called the guard frantically who flew towards me.
" What is it?", he asked me. He asked the rest of the cleaners move from there.
"I'm not feeling good", said Mike.
He called for someone through walkie talkie two guards came with a stretcher. As soon as they reached near Mike shot up and tackled one guard. I dealt with the two others. We decided to place one guard inside the washroom and the other in the stretcher. We took out their uniforms and walkie talkie.
After we changed into the uniforms. We stayed inside waiting for the cleaning team to leave. Once they left we took out the stretcher out. We still had an unconscious guard on stretcher with us to avoid questions being asked.
"What to do now?", I asked him. He motioned to wait and called another guard.
"This guy fainted during the cleaning up. He has a heart problem, I think", he told. He looked at us suspiciously.
"We are new shifts here. Punishment transfer", he explained and his face relaxed.
"Yes me too. I wish I got out of here. Terrible place", he mumbled.
"I know", said Mike.
"I want to see a girl who have been dubbed pretty. She is recently bought here", said Mike. I looked at him surprised. But he knew how prisons worked.
"Yes she is pretty alright. But she is very tough too. She is not giving any of us much attention", said the guard. My blood boiled at hearing the possible sexual harassments she must have faced here.
"She is getting lot of visits from that weird guy", said the guard. I drew a sharp breath. Mike looked at me and walked that guard away from me.
"Who is visiting her?", he asked.
"Is it allowed? I mean meeting her?", he asked.
"No man. We can only look. The most we can hope for is hand jobs. Their locks are central and could be opened through superior officers only", he told me. I wanted to kick something so hard.
"Can we see her?", asked Mike.
"You can see her. But don't expect her to be welcoming. She is a bit of a lioness", he told Mike.
"Why is that guy so weird?", he asked Mike.
"He lost his girlfriend", said Mike.
"If he saw her he might forget about the girlfriend. Wait I have a picture of her I use for pleasure", he said showing my mate's photo inside the cell. My blood boiled and I was about to charge to beat that guy to pulp. But Mike snatched that photo from his hands.
"Hey this is mine", he told Mike.
"Here", Mike told him giving him some money. He quickly took the money but he wasn't that pleased.
"Take us there", said Mike. He nodded and walked us to am elevator. He pushed several buttons. I stood with them unable to say a word. I wanted to punch his guts but unfortunately I couldn't do it given the circumstances.
"Mate don't worry about girlfriend", he told me. I gave him a muted stare. He backed off. Then he led us to the prison area. My eyes searched for my mate frantically. Finally I found her curled up in a corner of the cell.
"Hey", called the guard rudely. But she didn't look up. Maybe it wasn't his first visit.
"She is a bitch. There are prettier girls than her", he told Mike.
"What did you call her?", I asked him.
Her head shot up at the sound of my voice. He looked at me with distaste.
"What is your problem?", he asked me.
"For now it is you", I told him and slammed him to the wall. He shook frightened.
"I can't breath. Tell him to stop", he begged Mike.
"Where are the keys?", he asked him patiently.
"It is a central system. We only guard we have no keys", he told us.
"Give us something so that he let's you go", said Mike.
He thought for a second and told us, "In case of an emergency we can use the fire exit to save ourselves", he told.
"What about the prisoners?", asked Mike.
"I don't know they die I guess", he told us. My gave him another hit. He doubled down on the floor.
"Tell me where is this central system?", he asked.
"I can take you", he said.
"Wipe your nose", said Mike.
"Where are you going?", I asked Mike.
"I will go and try to figure out their locks", he told me. I nodded my head. I was thankful for the privacy.
I saw my mate walking slowly towards me. Her hands were chained. There were no other prisoners here except her. It made me doubtful. I wonder where were the rest?
"Hey", I said to her. Her eyes were brimming with tears. Her hair was un kempt. She had put it in front. But she looked beautiful to me.
"I missed you", I told her.
"I missed you too Aidan", she said to me.
"Then why did you leave?", I asked her.
"To make you realise that you missed me too", she told me.
"Don't do it again. You know I love you and miss you a lot", I told her.
"But I want to see you put your words in action which you never do", she told me.
"I'm sorry", I told her finally.
