Tithy's P.O.V.
After offering my Fazar prayer, I recited the Holy Quran for a while and then prayed to ALLAH for my near and dear ones. Roshni Api also recited the Holy Quran for some time.
Then I wanted to go to the garden but Api forced me to go to the bed and sleep again.
I tried to refuse at first but then something came to my mind and without bothering to think twice, I just demanded that and Api agreed to it after thinking for a while as if the thinking was very much needed.
But I know, she won't ever deny for a single thing, I wish for. I just love Api so much but may be she loves me more.
Like an obedient little sister, I went to the bed and fell asleep. Later when I woke up in the morning, it was already 8:30 by morning. Looking at the watch, I rushed to washroom.
After that, I got ready hurriedly and came out of the room while shouting. "Api, Ma.. Why didn’t you wake me up? Now I will get late."
Api was about to leave for office but hearing me, she stopped at the door and asked me, "For what will you get late? Didn’t your Boss give you two days off?"
Then it came to my mind and I spoke up, "Ohh. Yeah. I forgot." and sat down on the chair immediately feeling pain in my leg.
Api rushed to me and asked, "Are you alright, sweetie?"
I nodded but Ma came in front of me with medicine, ice bag and bandage like she was waiting when I will wake up and she can do this.
Looking at Api, Ma said, "You go otherwise you will be late. I am here with her."
Api caressed my hair and said, "Like a good girl listen to Ammi and you too please take care."
I nodded happily and when she was about to leave, I asked her "Api, you do remember your promise, right?"
Api nodded smilingly and said, "I do, sweetie." and left from there. While treating my leg, Ma asked, "What promise are you talking about?"
I also replied smilingly, "You will know soon, Ma."
Ruhaan's P.O.V.
Entering my cabin, the first thing I did was to call Tithy through intercom likewise but when none answered it today, I felt upset. And to make me feel worse, my mind reminded me, "You hurt her yesterday and it was her birthday Ruhaan."
I kept silent at that for a while and then uttered, "I am sorry."
My heart was aching to hear those words of Tithy's mother again but my mind didn’t utter a single word of "It’s okay. It was not your fault. You didn’t do it intentionally" like her.
My thought got interrupted when I heard a knock. I permitted and Neety came in and said, "Sir, you have a meeting in an hour."
When she found me giving her a questioning look, she spoke up again, "Sir, Tithy called me earlier to remind you about the meeting."
While taking a file, I said, "Okay, you can leave now."
Neety left my cabin and a smile crept on my lips finding Tithy's sincerity about work but the painful face of her faded away my smile.
Giving the thought a break, I concentrated on my work.
After the meeting when I came back to my cabin, I was badly needed a cup of coffee but declining the thought, I leaned on my chair and closed my eyes.
Opening the eyes, I looked at the clock. It was half past 12. I took a file and tried to concentrate on it when my phone rang off. It was Shaan.
I received the call with a sad smile and before he could say something, I spoke up, "If you are free, meet me at 5:30 at the park. I want to say you something."
He asked me immediately, "What is it, vai?" but without answering his question, I just said, "I will tell you when we meet."
When he said, "Okay vai", I cut off the line without bothering to ask him if he had called me for something.
I tried to concentrate on the file again but got failed thinking what will I say to Shaan actually.
Shaan's P.O.V.
After Fazar prayer, I again tried to get some sleep. While thinking random stuff, I drifted to sleep. When I woke up, it was already 12 by noon. Remembering the dream I dreamt a little ago, a smile crept on my lips.
I dreamt about the moment when Titly and me confessed about our relationship to Ruhaan Vai. Vai was so happy for us.
I was little afraid at first thinking that he will get angry. I only knew it was my mother's wish that I would get married to Titly but I didn’t have the slightest idea that the wish was of Afreen Aunty's (Titly's mother) as well.
When vai said that I was so happy thinking that I will be able to fulfill my two mothers' wish. As after my mother's death, Afreen aunty became more like my mother.
I was smiling thinking of that day but when reality flashed on my mind, the smile faded away.
"I got failed to fulfill their wish. I got failed." the words kept buzzing in my mind.
I left the bed. Getting freshen up, I came out of my room. The house was empty except some maids who were working their respective work.
Thinking about vai, I called him. Without asking me anything, he just told me to meet him as he had something to tell me. When I asked about it, he didn’t answer my question and cut off the line saying, "I will tell you when we meet."
Vai was behaving somewhat strangely from yesterday. Something seems to be off with vai and I can sense that much well.
"I don’t know what is it vai but this much is sure that I am not going to leave you again with all by yourself. Last time you made me listen to you anyhow but not this time." I uttered with determination and went back to my room.
