Tamim's P.O.V.
I was stuck between two so called best friends, Tithy and Heer and their stupid questions.
After thinking a while I made up a lie to feed them hoping that they will buy that.
I told them, "Actually he has previous criminal cases. So seeing me, he got frightened. And besides I threatened him if I ever find him doing all this harassing you, he will be in jail for life long.
He got frightened and went away saying he won't do this ever again.
Nonetheless if you ever got in this type of situation, just give me a call. I will be there."
I saw them sighing in relief and Heer spoke up, "That's really great. Thank you Sir. But have you got to know why he was doing this to me?"
"I am stuck again. Was Tithy alone not enough that her friend too started it!!"I thought in mind.
"He is a psycho trying to rip off you to get some money", I told them but they seemed unconvinced.
When Tithy was about to open her mouth again, her phone rang off.
Thanks to that I got some time to think what to tell.
I got interrupted when Tithy extended her phone to me and said, "Api wants to talk to you."
I took the phone and before I could say anything, Roshni spoke up, "Tamim, if you have some time, can you drop them to our house? I have to do overtime. Otherwise I would go to pick them up."
What the!! Here I am trying to get away from them and their questions for now and she wants me to drop them home and that means spending some more time with them.
When I became silent, Roshni reasoned her points why she is not coming to pick up them.
I agreed and she happily cut off the line after inviting me for a programme tomorrow.
I seriously don't understand this girl, Roshni. Why she always does all these things!!
She can just think of herself, right..?
But no. She has to be great and caring for all..!!!!
Whatever..!!
I returned the phone to Tithy while she was convincing Heer to stay with them tonight.
I sighed in relief that their mind diverted to other thing. Now I just have to get away from them before they again start their questions game.
I stood up and said, "It's getting dark. Let's go. I will drop you then I have to get back to work. Hurry up, girls."
Saying this, I immediately got out of the restaurant and they followed me and hopped in my car.
The whole time of the journey Tithy was blabbering. Like what happened with her in office today. Hearing her blabbering I just understand this much that her boss is a short tempered man.
When I reached their destination, they got out of my car.
Tithy invited me in but I refused by giving the excuse of work load.
Like I am not a fool to give them another chance to get back to their track by going in, right?
They thanked me and went inside the house.
Staring at them going, I started to think what should I do tomorrow!!
My mind immediately replied to that.
"What else..!! You need to attend. Otherwise you know.."
I stopped my mind going its way as I already knew where it will go.
"Okay. Okay. Stop it. I got it. I don't like this job of yours of being a reminder always. So just shut up."
I started my car and drove away from there.
Roshni's P.O.V.
While working, I lost the track of time. When my eyes fell on the watch, it was almost time of Tithy to get back home. I should pick her up. Leaving her alone in these days, I feel worried.
But I have to do overtime today. So I called Tithy to check if she was fine and where was she..
When she said that she was with Tamim and Heer, I felt relieved.
Remembering something, I asked Tithy to give the phone to Tamim.
When Tamim attended the call, I spoke up before he could say anything.
"Tamim, if you are not busy, can you take them home? I was supposed to do that but I need to do overtime today."
When he agreed, I again spoke up happily, "Be free tomorrow evening and come to our house. We are holding a programme."
Though he said, he is not sure but will try to make it, I know he will come.
So I concentrated on work again. When I was almost done, Hena one of my colleagues came to my cabin.
"Hey Roshni, are you done? We need to go for shopping, remember?"
I smiled at her. Among all of my colleagues, I like her the most because of her cheerful and friendly nature.
She always smiles no matter in what situation she is.
"Almost done. Just give me 2 minutes."
I replied smiling to her while arranging the files.
She took a chair and started something with her phone. When I was done and looked at her, she stood up and smilingly said, "Are you finally done with your two minutes?"Sarcasm was evident on her face.
Looking at watch, I understood it was almost 10 minutes when I asked for only 2 minutes.
"Sorry. Let's go." I replied to her apologetically.
We got out of the building and took a cab. While going to market, Hena asked me, "What are you going to buy?"
I haven't thought of that yet. What should I buy really!!
Finding no specific answer, I just uttered, "Let's see."
Going to the market, pointing at a bag which was in her hand Hena said, "You decide what to buy. I am going to exchange this dress."
When she left, I entered a watch store and looked for the girl but she was not there. When I was looking here and there in the shop searching her, some other girl came forward.
"How can I help you, maam?"
Glancing at her once, I continued whatever I was doing while asking her, "There was another girl here. Where is she?"
"Are you talking about Meena? She left the job"
"But why?"
"I don't know maam. Just one day she called and said that she won't be working here anymore."
"What? She left the job! But why??"
I uttered under my breath.
When I remained dumbstruck, observing me carefully, she again said, "Wait a moment. Aren't you the one who met her and asked about some girl that day?"
Getting myself together, I answered her, "Yeah. I once came here to ask her something."
"No doubt. You looked familiar. You were regular here but after meeting her that day you also stopped coming here.
Is there any problem maam?"
"It's just that.."
"Hey, you wanna buy a watch?"
I got interrupted by Hena who was done with her dress exchanging.
