I had to come after her. I just couldn't help it. I close my eyes and relish the feeling of having her in my embrace. It is just heavenly. I can't explain exactly what I feel like, especially knowing that she has nothing on her body under that coat.
"Why are you here?" she asks me.
"I believe it is the same reason why you are here," I reply with a smile and she blushes. She looks so gorgeous under the moonlight.
"How did you find me?" she asks.
"I am a vampire," I reply with a shrug and she chuckles lightly. Oh, that is such a beautiful sound.
"It is very late. You should be asleep," I tell her while tracing my fingers through her hair, trailing them down her cheeks.
"I don't feel like it," she answers. Her big brown eyes bore through mine as if she is seeing everything beyond my face. She raises her hand and places it on my cheek. It is so soft, and warm. It makes my long dead skin come to life.
"And you, why aren't you asleep?" she inquires from me.
"I am a Vampire," I reply with a smirk and she giggles. Such a small thing makes her so happy. I want to hear that sound all the time.
"I couldn't rest until I found you. I wanted to see you one more time," I tell her and she chews on her bottom lip.
"So you are from this pack?" I ask her and she nods, yes.
"I see," I say and look around the woods.
I have been in this place several times. It is such a misfortune that she had to grow up under Fabian's rule. Even the thought of his name makes my hands twitch.
"Do you want to go back home?" I inquire from her and she shakes her head.
"Okay. Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know. Wherever you want," she replies and a grin spreads across my lips.
"Are you sure? I mean, won't someone come looking for you?" I ask just to make sure.
"Taake me wherever you want, Vampire. I am yours to take," she offers herself with a sexy and smoking hot look.
"Damn it! Clara," I say while running my hands through her hair and pulling her closer.
"You are mine!" I tell her in a firm possessive voice. "Say you are mine and I will take you away from here just like you asked," I dare her.
"I am yours," she doesn't hesitate to answer. Hell, yeah you are mine! I rejoice internally and crush my lips on hers in a possessive kiss. She closes her eyes and pushes herself into me like an offering. Oh, yes. Her lips are so plump and soft. Just like I thought.
I can see her struggling to get on her tiptoes so that she can adjust to my height. I help her out of her misery and carry her of the ground. I pin her against the tree and she wraps her legs around my waist.
She opens her mouth for me and my tongue invades like a hungry monster to take whatever she has to give. Her mouth is so warm and tantalizing. I never want to end this kiss.
Clara pulls away from the kiss to catch her breath. I am all sensitive right now. All the hormones that I thought had died within me are now awake. Her legs are still wrapped around my waist. The fact that she is wearing nothing beneath that coat is killing me. In this position, I have a good view of her cleaverage. I have to get her out of here before I am tempted beyond my limits.
"I am going to take you home," I tell her and she nods. I lower her slowly onto the ground, her eyes never leaving mine. I then lift her off the ground into my hands and dash away.
When we reach my house, Clara looks amazed. I don't know whether she is surprised or scared. Or maybe she is anxious to meet my family.
"Here we are," I tell her while standing on the doorstep. I don't put her down, I just open the door with one hand and walk in.
Some of those who had gone to attend the grand opening of the bar Luther told me about have already come back. Actually no one saw me leave, so they all look surprised seeing me with the girl in my arms.
I think all these eyes on her are making her feel uncomfortable being carried by me like this as she tries to wiggle out of my hands. I then put her down and she stands awkwardly by my side.
Why do they all look shocked as if I have grown two heads? I know I have brought a girl, alright. Seeing sniff the air like an animal, reminds me that Clara is a werewolf. Everyone in this house hates werewolves, especially those under the leadership of Fabian. He ruined the little peace that held werewolves and vampires at good terms.
I also don't like werewolves. Jeez! they disgust me, but everything was just put aside when I met Clara. She is the only werewolf I want to give everything I have so as to keep her happy.
The whole house smells like liquor. Probably everyone is drunk, especially Raul who can't get his eyes off my girl. Finally feeling uncomfortable in the awkward silence, I decide to say something.
"Everyone, meet Clara. Clara, meet everyone," I say and she gives me a small smile. I know she is very nervous to meet my family. Especially after the awkward shocked welcome they have given her.
"Nice to meet you, Clara. I am Raul, Damien's closest brother," Raul tells Clara with a crooked grin. He must have drunk more than he can handle, but he will be okay.
"Nice to meet you, Raul," she replies with a brighter smile. I don't care if Raul is drunk, but as long as he keeps her smiling like that. All those that looked like they had frozen come to life. I know that they have already sensed that she is a werewolf, but they have to behave themselves because Clara is my guest tonight.
Luther walks into the main room with Victoria by his side. Clara is already surrounded by a group of women. I can see Katherine, Raul's partner pulling her into a conversation. Her face has lit up with smiles. I hope they don't pump her with frustrating questions.
"I see you brought us a guest," Victoria says with a raised eyebrow. And then turns to look at Clara.
"She is a werewolf isn't she?" she asks me with a serious face.
"Yes, she is a werewolf?" I reply and she shakes her head.
"Everyone here is drunk. I think that is why they haven't torn her apart yet," she says.
"I know how everyone in this house feels about werewolves, but there is nothing I can do about it. Clara is my partner and we are all going to learn to live with the fact that she is a werewolf. She is not dangerous," I say.
"I sure hope so," Victoria says and walks past me towards Clara. I hope everyone will be able to keep it together for the mean time. Luther just keeps looking at me without saying anything.
"What?" I ask him and the corners of his lips lift into a coy smile.
"I knew you were up to something when you sneaked out of the house," he says with a huge grin on his face.
"No offense but the girl is pretty," he adds with a smirk.
"Shut up. Victoria might hear you," I tease him. We all know how Victoria is a jealousy partner. She is very protective of Luther. With all these vampires in the house, even the smallest whisper is not a secret.
"You are right. I better keep my big mouth shut!" he says with a smirk.
