" Yes for now" she muttered ending the call. A knock came on the door and she beckoned the person to come in
" Audrey, the management told me to give you this? Said Xander shaking
" What's that? She asked taking it from him then opened it.
" I thought it was a sack letter" she whispered
" They said the hotel in the USA is facing issues and the current manager can't handle the issue. Which they know you're exceptionally good at. So yes it's a transfer letter" he said slowly as if in disagreement
" That's a new leap. " She said as she recalled the trip she was supposed to undergo but was canceled. The meeting too.
" You're going, right? He asked in anticipation
" Of course. I'll have to make some arrangements. But it's a good idea. A new environment with no Lucas" she said whispering the last part to herself. To think of it there at the prime of their relationship and he wants nothing to do with her at the moment. His office has turned to his house.

She drove to his building and went straight to his office and saw Jenny setting the table for him to eat and he didn't mind instead he was reading a magazine with his legs crossed without a care in the world.

" And who are you to kick me out of here? A common hotel manager that sells herself to get clients" she accused as Audrey faced turned dark. Lucas flipped over the newspaper

" Oh please shut your mouth. I said get out. " But she continued setting the table. Audrey turned the table upside down spilling the whole dish on the red carpet.
" What have you done you crazy bitch" cried Jenny who hasn't seen a girl as violent as Audrey.
" Will you leave now? She said yet again with a murderous tone that Jenny has to turn to Lucas who was ignoring them.
The guards rushed in and he waved them off to return to their duty post.
" Lucas, will you watch her do this to me? We've been trying to rekindle our love since you said you got rid of this human-wolf" she said intentionally to hurt Audrey and it worked
" I said leave," she said pushing her out. Lucas flipped the pages again without a word. Jenny kept looking at him for help but he didn't bat an eye at her till Audrey pushed her out completely slamming the door on her face.

" Audrey, where are you traveling to? He asked if he didn't hear all her rantings
" The hotel transferred me to Los Angeles California. Maybe for the whole year. I came to tell you. "
" You can't go. You just returned from a month's trip. If you must go we're going together" he announced
" What about your dream to rekindle your love for Jenny fake," she asked as he raised a brow at her
" Don't use that word ever again. My carpet is all smudged all thanks to my jealous girlfriend who takes things to the extreme" he said nonchalantly

" Luke, I'll see you later. Can I wait for you in the mini room? I'm not that fine" she said entering his room before he protests.
Luke gritted his teeth and gave the order for him to come over. Adrian walked majestically into his office and sat down with his legs crossed.
" I thought you were with someone. It's a pity I haven't met the girl that stole your cold heart away" he stated pouring himself some tea
" What's this about? Asked Lucas with a furrowed brow
" History has it that I am obligated to treat you after the contract. Though it took a month it's still valid so I'm just inviting you for dinner. "

" Audrey, when are you leaving for the states? He asked sitting beside her
" As soon as possible. Today or tomorrow. It's urgent" she said facing him

" I missed you, Luke. I won't jeopardize what we have because of my altitude. Hmm," she said stroking his hair which has grown longer.

" Still going to the states with me? She asked waiting for him to kiss her
" How long will you be spending there? He asked staring at her intensely
" Till everything is good. Will you come home to me henceforth? She whispered lost in his eyes
" For the rest of my life", he murmured kissing her forehead then her nose then her eyes locking gaze with her.
" Sorry we can't make out here" he whispered to her ears sending warmth to her spine
" You're right. I will see you at home right? She asked stroking his hair gently
" Yeah. We'll talk better when I get home. Thanks to you my office is a mess" he complained
" I'm sorry. I can't stand seeing another woman around you. It vexes me" she said giving him a slight kiss at the corner of his mouth
" Jealous Girl. Jenny is quite ambitious. You handle her pretty well. You must think I'm cool right? Having you Audrey caused that" he said about to kiss her but stop as if fighting himself

" Maybe you should go and prepare for your trip. " He said standing up while walking to the door

Audrey picked her bag and walked out thinking about many things. He doesn't hold himself when it comes to intimacy. Does he Suspect her that much? It's a change in their relationship perhaps she'll fix it before she leaves.
