"W-What did you say?" she stammered. She was not sure if she was just hearing things Blake's face looked flushed and he seemed uncomfortable. He straightened and he rubbed his nape with his left hand. His right hand was still holding her hand which was on the table She hid a smile. A very hot male appearing to be slightly embarrassed looked so cute. She removed her hand from his and also straightened on her seat but Blake took hold of it again.
"Sweetheart I said I love you." He repeated.
She looked at him without blinking. Oh dear! My perv but oh-so-delicious man is actually saying I love you! She happily thought.
"Maybe what I feel for you is love. What I know is I can't bear not seeing you or talking to you. The thought of you being angry with me and you might do something to get back at me is hellish." he said agonizingly.
She let out a small smile. “You think I will look for another man?" she asked.
He scowled. His hold tightened which made her wince a little. "B-Blake...."
"Never say that again!" he said while gritting his teeth.
"S-Sorry. I was just joking." she said in a small voice.
"Not about something like that! BULLSHIT"
"O-Okay.. I am sorry."
She chose to apologize because she didn’t want to ruin the moment. He already expressed his true feelings so she should be more careful with her words so he won’t get jealous and pissed. He then sighed and finally looked calmer. It was then that the waiter served their wine. After filling their glasses, he bowed and Heather said thanks while smiling at him and he smiled back. Blake pulled her hand towards him a little forcefully. She frowned when she saw him glaring at her. Then it suddenly hit her. Oh dear! He's jealous of the waiter again? She asked herself.
She almost forgot that there was a time that he had the same reaction to another server. She forgot it due to his sudden expression of his feelings for her. When the waiter was gone she said, "I just said thank you for Pete's sake!"
"I don't like the way you smiled at him! Did you see how he was looking at you dammit!”
She just shook her head and decided to just not comment anymore. She didn’t want them to argue. This was a special night for them. After a while of silence, he sighed then kissed her hand.
"Sorry. I couldn't help reacting." he said.
She didn't make a comment. She just sipped her wine. They chose to eat their meal in silence. But at the middle of the main course, he asked, "Sweetheart can we go on a road trip? I want us to be alone." He said while flashing his clit-tingling smile.
"No." she said firmly and his handsome face distorted. She was slightly annoyed with him. He was like an ogre awhile ago and now he was gentle and sweet at her because he wanted something. She had to admit that she also liked the idea of going somewhere with him but she didn’t trust him a bit. For sure he would make a move to touch or kiss her and she knew that her body would betray her.
"Okay not anytime soon but I am looking forward to doing that with you. But can you please go back to your unit tonight or tomorrow? We can swim in the condo’s pool. I haven’t swam there and I want to swim in it with you.”
"I will stay at Stacey's for a few days more. I will return to my unit on Sunday since I have to start work on Monday." She saw disappointment on his face but only for a second. He probably felt that he couldn’t impose things on her.
"I can't wait sweetheart. I will just visit you at Stacey’s then I will ask you out." He said with a sexy grin.

He did what he said. He went to her sister’s home every night bringing flowers and chocolates. He asked her to go out each time but she refused. She felt happy that he was really making a lot of effort to win her back. She was glad that they were getting to know each other better unlike before. They never really talked and just had sex most of the time. At least, by the time they become a real couple, the set up would definitely be different. She wanted him to woo her for two or three weeks more. They were in the verandah. He was asking for a kiss.
“No! You are my suitor remember? You can’t kiss me for Pete’s sake!” She sighed and rolled her eyes.
“Sweetheart I’m sorry if I wanted to kiss you. I miss you a lot. I can come here every night but I feel that we are not alone. Your brother-in-law or sister seems to always checks on us. You don’t have to worry about going on a date with me. I promise I won’t touch or kiss you. I only want us to be together. Just the two of us.” Blake was starting to get annoyed but he had to bear the situation. He didn’t want Heather to get angry with him because all his efforts would go to waste. He was just telling himself that once everything was fine with them, he would make sure that he would make up for lost times. His body was craving for her
"I don't trust you!"
He sighed. And his brows furrowed. When he usually had this expression of disappointment Heather wanted to say yes to his invite but she had to be firm. After a few more days, they would be together and they could do whatever they wanted as a couple. Besides she was thankful that due to his effort, Nick seemed to be softening a little. She accidentally heard him and her sister talking in the kitchen one time .
"You have to be civil to Blake honey. Sooner or later, base from what I am seeing, he will be your sister-in-law's husband."
That made Heather think... Is it possible that I will be his wife? She asked herself.
She couldn’t imagine that the womanizer and perv man she knew before would be her husband. She shook the thought off. Stacey was overreacting. It was too soon to think about that. Blake just recently changed his views on serious relationships. Marriage was way too serious. They were both not ready for it yet.
Their set-up continued for several days more. He was now texting and calling her regularly. And unlike before, he was now telling her about his whereabouts. But before her two weeks stay at Stacey’s finished she decided to go back to him. She fell more and more in-love with him each day. And she felt that he had proven himself already. But she wanted to keep her decision from Stacey first. She didn’t want her to feel bad because she didn’t finish the two weeks before going back to Blake again. She told her that she would meet Pauline. But the truth was , she would surprise Blake. She would go to his unit.
She was wearing a white top, black tight-fitting pants and black strappy heels. She was not showing any cleavage because Blake disliked that. He had been good and had shown a lot of effort so the least she could do was avoid making him angry. She couldn’t help smiling knowing that after a few minutes they would be a real couple officially. She couldn’t wait to see his reaction. She felt excited as she imagined how he would make love to her passionately. She was waiting for the elevator door to open.

She felt heat came up her face when she saw him and Samantha inside the lift. The woman's hand was on his arm.
"Sweetheart!" Surprised was on Blake's voice and face.
