Blake held both her forearms firmly to have a small distance between them. Heather was wearing high heels but she still had to raise her face to meet his eyes. "Sweetheart, I'm really sorry." she told him breathily.
She made sure that she looked very alluring. One thing she was sure of. Blake badly wanted her. She told him not to fuck her every day but he didn’t let any day pass without having her. She was waiting for him to reply but he just held her arm and pushed the lift’s button.
"Where are we going?" She asked as she hid the panic from her voice.
He had a grim expression. "To my unit! We will have a talk!" he said flatly without looking at her.
Her body reacted which annoyed her. His nice manly smell was not helping at all. Once they got inside his unit, he released her. She advanced to his living room and put her bag on the center table. She then turned to face him.
"Aren’t you going to the gym? Why did you jog early? As for me, I was planning to leave early because I am supposed to be meeting Alicia at 9 a.m. so I decided to just have breakfast outside. " She said as she looked at her watch.
It was only 7 she knew that Blake was usually at his unit around this time. He goes to his gym a little before 8 so that was the reason she chose to leave early but unfortunately he saw her. He ignored her question. His eyes went from her face down her body
"Why the fuck are you wearing such clothes? Didn’t we have a talk about such fucking clothes?!”
She was wearing a tube top and a tight skirt with a pair of white high heels.
“I have a cardigan in the car sweetheart. I will put it on later.” She said sounding cool. She was absolutely seething but as usual, she had to calm down .How dared he get angry with what she was wearing while he let another woman sat on his bulge?
She walked to him. She touched his left cheek lightly. "Did you have a bad night worrying about me?" she asked in a sugary tone.
He got her hand from her cheek and pulled her towards him. "You fucking know that I did! I didn't sleep a wink thinking where you were and who the asshole you were with! I ran very early to release my anger! I know that you saw Samantha and me and you are mad but it’s not what you think! So what did you do to get back at me?! You went out with an asshole? Dammit! " he rasped then tightened his hold on her.
" No! Of course I didn't do that." She pretended she was about to cry as she lied.
" I am capable of doing things that you can't even imagine I can do so don't even think about being with other men!!" he said in a spine-chilling tone.
"How could you say such things to me? It was you who let that bitch straddle you! Now you get angry at me? I didn’t do anything bad!” she let a tear fall down on her left cheek.
Blake sighed heavily and chilled a little. He didn’t want them to fight. He had to understand that it was natural that she got angry with what she saw. "What she did took me by surprise too sweetheart. I am not stupid to do something like that while you were in the building.”
Heather wanted to tell it to his face what a big liar he was but of course she didn’t. Instead, she sobbed. Blake cursed then he enveloped her in his arms.
"Sweetheart, that was nothing. Don't cry. I’m sorry you saw that.” He said against the top of her head. She had her face on his chest. He kept on rubbing her back with his hand to comfort her. He might be a jerk for letting her believe that he was finally ready to have a serious relationship with her and gave up his freedom, but he didn't like seeing her cry. He considered her as a very strong and gutsy woman so when she cried, it only meant that she was hurting.
"I am such an asshole sweetheart. I am sorry. Did I hurt you?" He asked gently. He checked her forearm which he held tightly. He cursed quietly. He wiped her tears with his fingers.
"Didn’t you tell Samantha that I am your girlfriend already?" She asked him in a sad voice.
Blake brows furrowed. Of course he didn’t. He hadn’t told anyone that they were a couple. Hector and Eve knew his real intentions were. People in the gym also knew him. They probably just thought she was one of his flings. When he didn’t immediately reply, Heather moved away from him to get her bag.
“That’s okay if you didn’t. Anyway you don’t have to.” She said before turning to look at him. "
He held his nape with his right hand while stretching the muscles of his neck. “I will tell her sweetheart. I just didn’t have the chance to say it to her yesterday.” "
“No it’s okay really. As long as you don't go out with her then eventually fuck her, then I am okay with that." she said. She couldn't keep the sarcasm from her tone. She saw him narrowed his eyes but didn't say anything. "I have to go. I don’t want to be late for my meeting with Alicia.” When she went past him, he took her arm to halt her.
"I won't touch any other woman. You don't have to be jealous of anyone." he said.
She looked at him . "I won't let any man touch me too. So you don't need to be jealous. Sweetheart..! " She protested when he pulled her to him again.
His jaw was clenched and his nostrils were flaring. "Don’t even think about it sweetheart.” He threatened.
"Aren't you being unfair? " she asked, her eyes are sparkling with hidden rage.
" I just explained everything bullshit!”
" I know what I saw. Even if you said that you were caught unaware ,the fact is I saw her on top of you! You should be thankful that I didn't make a scene! Next time I witness something like that again, I will leave you!! "Now let me go! " she demanded. Their eyes locked.
"You can try sweetheart .but you won't get five yards before I drag you back to me. And when I get you back, face the consequences. Never forget that I own you." he said conceitedly.
"Let's make things clear here, you owe me one. If you were in my shoes you would have gone violent. I didn't do anything to get back at you so the least you could do is stop beating up men around me! " she said, her tone steely.
He cursed. "I won't beat dickheads who ask you for a fucking date? Or assholes who still want to woo you? I am not stupid! What kind of man would want his girlfriend taken away from him right under his nose?" he hissed.
Heather raised her left brow. "The million dollar question is, do you really consider me as your girlfriend?" she asked.
Blake frowned. He released her and raked his hand through his hair . He walked to the kitchen and opened his fridge. He took a can of beer. "What kind of a question is that?!" he asked sounding irritated then gulped his beer.
"The kind of question that I think is very hard for you to answer sweetheart." Heather said while looking at him through narrowed eyes.
He went back to the living room again after putting his beer down on the kitchen table with a thud . He came to her but didn't touch her.
"It’s just you for me and we are always together! What more do you want?"
She let out a light laugh which sounded sarcastic. "You want my honest answer and opinion?" she asked.
"YES!" he replied through gritted teeth.
She then put her bag back on the table and sat on the couch then crossed her legs. She leaned on the sofa. Blake's eyes automatically went to her exposed thighs and legs. She saw desire in them as they turn dark.
"Then this time we really need to talk sweetheart..."
His handsome face distorted and he looked really uncomfortable.
Hmm...someone is in the hot seat! She thought.
