"Oh my goodness Blake!" Eve exclaimed.
She advanced into the room and saw the extent of the damages of Blake’s unit. There were a lot of broken bottles of booze and the center table was broken.
"What happened here?”
Blake cursed before sitting on the sofa. He was bare-chested and he had faded jeans on. He was awakened but his cousin’s persistent ringing of his door bell.
"Blake Acosta!? It's 12 p.m. and you just got up?! And look at your unit! What is going on?!"
"Will you stop yelling? You are making my headache worse!" he complained. He leaned on the sofa with his eyes shut.
Eve sighed." I hope you didn’t you drink all the beer at the bar! What time did you come home? Call your condo's maintenance to clean up this mess!” She ordered and walked to the kitchen. I'll make you a cup of coffee. Go take a shower!” She secretly smiled.
Her cousin had fallen hard but still won't admit it or couldn't recognize it yet. "Finally!" she muttered to herself.
"What happened at the party?" he suddenly asked.
She turned to look at him. He was leaning on the kitchen's door frame. His arms were crossed on his chest. She shrugged her shoulders as she turned on the coffee maker. "Nothing much. It was the usual party.”
She knew that he was dying to hear about Heather. She faced him again and almost giggled when he saw that he was frowning heavily. "Take a shower first then we can talk." she said.
"Dammit! Will you answer me first?! What happened? Did you talk to her? What did she say? Did she ask about me? How is she? "
She couldn’t help laughing and his eyes narrowed. "Hold on! You have too many questions I don’t know which one to answer first." she joked. She giggled when he cursed.
"I have been calling her last night but she didn’t pick up!" he snapped.
She shook her head and took her phone in her pocket. "We were busy taking pictures and having fun ." She said and handed her phone to Blake.
"Why are you giving me your phone?" he asked while frowning.
"I took a lot of photos including Heather’s. You can check them." She said with a smile.
She would start her mission which is: How to Awaken Blake Acosta Step #1: Let him realize what he lost. He reached for the phone.
" You can look at all of them." She said while getting mugs from the cupboard.
Blake straightened as looked at the pictures. Heather was gorgeous. He mumbled a bad word when he saw that her red dress was too fucking sexy as usual.
"The sisters looked gorgeous. Everyone complimented them. Heather was super pretty! I am glad I didn’t take you with me. There were a lot of guests and it would have been a waste if you made a scene. I made the right decision. " She said and secretly smiled when she heard her cousin cursed angrily Step# 2: Make him jealous..
"And who the fuck is this son of a bitch with her?!" he asked angrily.
She turned and looked at her phone. Blake’s neck and face were red. She took her phone. "That's Nick's brother-in-law, James. The couple were playing matchmakers and James didn’t leave Heather’s side…BLAKE!" She yelled when Blake kicked the table and it overturned.
"Stop that!" She yelled when he got the chair and threw it against the wall. She was a bit afraid though she knew he won’t hurt her. This was the violent she had seen him. She mustered all her courage and held on to his arm. She didn't expect his reaction to be this extreme, " Do you want to break all your stuff? Let’s talk! Sit down!” She demanded. She pulled one chair for him and for her. Though still very angry, Blake sat himself down. He was breathing heavily and he had his fists clenched on the table.
"Let's talk about you! Why are you acting this way? Last night you were drinking hard and look what you did to your unit! You are acting like a mad man!"
"I feel like shit! I am a fucking asshole!" he said through gritted teeth.
"What do you mean?" she asked while looking at him with her eyes narrowed. Step #3: Make him open up.
Blake brushed his hair with his hand.
"Tell me. I could help. You can talk to me. You can't release your feelings by being violent. It's so unlike you! "
"She left me." He said bitterly. He was looking straight ahead.
"Were you a real couple?” She wanted to hear what he had to say to that.
"In my book, we were". he said.
She rolled her eyes." From what I know, you just wanted her as your sex mate because that is how you consider women! I told you over and over again that you shouldn’t pursue her if you were only after sex! Now it seemed that you got what you wanted so what’s your problem? You are not used to women leaving you? What did you want? Wait for a month so you can finish what you have? Gosh Blake you are impossible! Know what? If I see Kristel I would slap her because she is the reason for all your hang ups!!”
Blake angrily ran his hand through his hair. “I am such a fool! This is all my fault! Damn it! But I will get Heather back! She belongs to me! No other man can have her!" he hissed.
"Stop it! She is Stacey’s sister and now that she is back, she will watch over Heather! So if you want to get her back to your bed then forget it! By the way here’s your car key. Heather said to give it back to you. ” She said and got the key before standing up to get coffee. She almost shook her head. It was proven that he was in love. It was his first time to give a woman a car.
Blake brows furrowed. "Why is she giving it back? It’s hers and she needs it. I don’t want her to take any public transportation.”
Step #4: Make him feel insecure of Nick.( He couldn’t smack Nick because he was Stacey’s husband and Nick was also good at martial arts so he could give Blake a run for his money.)
"Don't worry about her. Nick said she can use any of his cars. Actually he wanted to buy her one but Heather refused."
Blake knew that Heather had the hots for Nick in the past. "Bullshit! " He furiously stood up.
"Blake where are you going?”
"I will fucking call her!”
He was jealous of Nick. He knew that Heather used to like Stacey's husband very much but he had to calm down . He didn’t want her to get angrier at him. He was hoping that she would take his call. He missed her so much. He would try to forget his anger towards that James. He would deal with him in due time. He also had to control his jealousy towards Nick.
"Please pick up sweetheart.." he murmured

Stacey and Heather were at the living room. when the latter saw Blake's name on her screen. They were playing with Amara.
“Eve just sent a message. Blake will call you. Talk to him. You know what to tell him right?” Stacey asked and Heather nodded.
Blake gripped his phone when he heard her voice. He lied on the bed. His eyes were on the ceiling. Now it struck him. He didn't feel complete without her.
"Sweetheart.." he whispered in a hoarse voice.
"What?' She sounded uninterested.
“I’m sorry. Can we talk in person?" he asked but she didn’t reply. "Please sweetheart I want to tell a lot of things to you. I am longing to see you. I really miss you." he emotionally said. He couldn’t seem to stop himself from pouring his heart out.
"No. I realized that I am better off without you. Please just leave me alone.” She pleaded.
He clenched his fist then got up. He took a deep breath. "We both know that I won’t let you go. We'll talk and we'll fix this sweetheart. I am going to leave you alone for two days. After two days, we will talk face to face come hell or high water."
" I want my old life back. I want to do what I am used to. I want my freedom back. I don’t want anyone to control me.”
Blake jaw clenched. " We will have a serious talk for the last time sweetheart." he said chillingly.
"James is here.”
Blake heard Stacey said.
"I have to go." Heather hang up.
He angrily threw his phone against the wall and cursed. He quickly got a shirt from his closet then grabbed his motorcycle key .
