Darren saw me chatting with uncle Kevin and walked over to us, "Hey guys!! What's going on?". He says eyeing us both.
Uncle Kevin playfully shoved his head aside and walked away without altering a single word.
The look on my face gave him the notoriety that I needed an explanation, for his family's sudden visit to the hotel.
Darren weaves a huge smile, he says, "I do know you're shocked but mom wanted to come to visit and so did, father, that's why they came".
It's strange, they all wanted to come over out of the blue, what exactly am getting myself hooked up to?. Is their presence going to be a barrier to me?.
(Inaudible conversation)
Hours passed away, and we spent talking with each other, a waiter walked in and frittered a glass of champagne at the table for me and walked away.
"Shall we?". Uncle Kevin passed the glasses to us and while trying to get a hold of mine, I tripped over and my glass clicked to Darren's and it fell to the ground.
"Oops!! I am sorry" I frowned at what happened, "no!! It's okay". Darren says and walked out to find a dry towel to clean up the mess I made.
After a while, he walked out and carefully cleaned the stain on the table, and shoots me a warm smile.
Ravi's mom smiled at the care her son gave to me, she manages to get my attention over to herself and signaled we talk a walk.
"Please excuse me". She says and walked away, In a few headcounts, I left as well.
We both walked further away from prying eyes and ears, "yes ma'am" I said as she finally falls her eyes on me.
She says to me, "how are you and I trust you are doing what I asked of you?".
Her question made no sense to me, what exactly did she ask me to do, so I answered back, "please ma'am, what do you mean?".
Ravi falls a step backward and saw the look on my face, "let me guess!! And please don't lie to me, but I'll like to know, has anything happened between you and my son?".
"What do you mean?". I recognized the tone she used and hopefully not what I was thinking about.
A sly smile drops and she proceeds her words to me, "what I mean is that? Ever since you got married to my son, have you guys ever been intimate with each other?".
(Shocked expression illuminates)
"Yes! I mean no". I weaved out a confusing statement.
She says, "what exactly do you mean by that? Have you or have you not been intimate with my son?".
Ravi's adamancy of getting to know the truth, froze me to a spot, I immediately jiggled my head and answered, "yes ma'am we have been, and truly I don't know how much to tell you!! Your son is a tiger in bed".
(White lie).
A weak smile on, after heeding to my question, Luckily that will lay her off for a while, or so I thought.
(Back In the room)
Somehow, after spending the whole day with everyone, I magically got myself intoxicated, and so did Darren.
We were brought in by Ravi and uncle Kevin, who tossed us inside our room the moment we got in.
"Urgh!!! My head is spinning". I fell on the bed.
"Yes!!! I feel the same way!! Why did we drink so much".
Darren airs out his frustration, and fell on the bed next to me, I turned my eyes and saw he was slowly peeling his shirt off his back.
