Juliana's pov:
I walked down the corridor with kitchen dusty kinds of stuff that needed to be trashed. I am done doing my morning chores, as usual, the rumor has reached everyone, the Omages in the kitchen try to get along with me because of King Ryan not because they like me. They just wanted to get to him through me but I am not stupid I knew that scenario quite well than they do.
Iris and her minors despised me too much, she feels like I stole her place in the kitchen and also have the king all to myself. I don't know how to tell them that nothing is going on between King Ryan and me, that I am even more scared than they could imagine.
I didn't get to see that dreadful witch yesterday, not that I didn't try but the couple of times that I went there. She wasn't around and I am too exhausted to continue wandering around in search of her. I didn't want anything that could make my path and that Ryan to cross. I haven't seen Aria, for which I thanked the moon goddess because I am also doing anything possible to avoid her.
My day was moving quite well like I have ever wanted till I felt a hand push me towards the tiny part of the corridor. It was so dark and small that it could barely fit two people. My heart quickened as I felt the person pressing his body against mine. I wanted to scream but he had his rough palm placed on my lips holding me in place.
I felt an electric sparkle at the spot where he was holding me, I know that I only felt this way toward Ryan……. So tell me who this person is that also had the same effect on me?
"Hmmm…." I kept struggling to free myself, the dusty kitchen stuff slipped out of my hold and was long forgotten as I battled to free his grip on me.
"Shhhh….." He hunched but I ignored him and continued fighting to free myself, due to our closeness when struggling to free myself my front kept rubbing him.
"Fuck….." He groaned in pleasure, his fascinating groan wets my pussy and makes me weak in the leg.
"Stop moving," the words rolled down calmly but the hint of authority on it couldn't be mistaken. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I heard his voice.
"Kin…..king Ryan," I staggered but his grip on me tightened.
"Ryan to you…" he uttered.
"Ry….an," I said with hesitation.
"My thesaurus…." His husky voice sends a chill down my spine.
"I have missed you," I bewilderedly gaped at him.
"Don't you feel anything?" His breath tickled my face, I could smell the mint in his mouth.
"Hmmm……" I grunted nervously.
"Don't you feel anything?"
He asked again, more like he was pleading. I stood there not knowing how to react to his question and of course, I felt something. I feel drawn toward him, I feel electric sparkles wherever his hands touch me. I yearn to be in his arms every goddamn time.
He is like the air that I breathe, the way that he holds me and stares deep into my eyes melts me. He is like glue holding the shattered pieces of my heart, his smile melts my heart and weakens me down there.
I so much wanted to tell him how I feel but no words seemed to be coming out, I wanted to scream and tell him how I feel but so bad I am scared to express my feelings……. I am afraid to express how I feel within.
"I……. I…. Don't know what you are talking about," I stammered.
"So you don't feel anything…….. Nothing about us," he sounds hurt.
"About us!" I raise my brow.
"Even if you don't have a wolf, at least you are supposed to feel something……" he cursed under his breath.
I couldn't get to hear what he was saying but I swear I heard something like a wolf or something. Lifting his head, our eyes connected. His once-hardened facial expression turned sluggish as his black almond eyes stared back at me.
There is something with the way he stares at me, it always makes me weak in between my legs. He stares at me like I am the only thing that makes sense in this world, the way his eyes twinkle makes me lost in them. His tempting lips were inches away from mine, I could get the perfect view of his face.
The way that his eyes moved up and down, from my lips to my eyes…… begging for permission, I bit my lips nervously as the idea of what he wanted flooded in my head. Using his left hand, he separated my teeth away from my lips.
"Don't bite your lips again," he authorized as his eyes turned a darker shade with raw lust flickering in them.
Our noses were almost touching each other, and his eyes stared deeply inside me, more like he was studying my every reaction. I gulped down nervously when fiddling with the edge of my servant uniform. I felt shy and at the same time wet down his heated gaze.
His nose flared up before a sinful smirk sneaked into the corner of his lips, and his eyes darkened more as he inched closer to me leaving no single space between us. I know that he could smell my arousal and that makes me fucking embarrassed. I suddenly lowered my head but using his middle finger, he lifted my face.
Couldn't control the urge to kiss him and the unsettling gaze, I bit my lips nervously. He let out a pleasurable growl before he smashed our lips together.
"Hmm……" A moan escaped from the back of my back as our lips made contact. His lips kept moving as he continued bussing and ravishing my mouth, I stood there not knowing how to react to the kiss. I don't know if it is to hold him in his clothes or to leave me. At some point, my heart started beating so fast despite how intense the kiss was, I couldn't dare to kiss back.
However, finding out that I wasn't reciprocating back the same energy……. That I wasn't kissing him back, he stilled before whispering in my ear with a husky tone. "Kiss me back, my thesaurus……"
Something still always gets me confused, why does he always call me his thesaurus? I couldn't comprehend the reason when a moan escaped from my lips. Roaming his hand on my body, our lips started moving in sync. I got lost in between the kisses.
I jerked up but Ryan held me back as we felt a light flash in our direction, I sneak quickly behind him to avoid my presence being noticed.
"Who are those people making that noise….?" One of Iris's minors questioned no one in particular.
"I can hear someone moaning," this time around, it was Iris' voice.
"Let us go have a look," she said again.
I started hearing footsteps approaching us, holding Ryan with trembling hands suddenly felt afraid, I can't allow Iris to see us in this intimate position. I shuddered against Ryan, he pulled me closer to his body before rubbing my back to calm me down.
"Shhh…." He hunched.
"Stay still…….. Nothing will happen," he said.
I nodded with quivering lips though somehow his voice calmed me a bit, with trembling hands I held his clothes tight and got my face buried in between his chest when I noticed the closeness of their footsteps towards us. Almost in our direction, I heard the angry voice of Margaret.
"Iris…..!"
"Naomi and Kaiden….." She yelled.
"Bang!!" The flashlight falls off their hands at the mention of their names by the angry voice of Margaret. The flashlight slowly kept rolling in our direction, rolling toward us. Ryan held it with his right leg, keeping it in place. My heartbeat lessens as the cracking sound of the torchlight stops.
"What are you three doing there instead of in the kitchen or does that seem like the direction to the kitchen?" She lashes out at them.
"Hmmm….. Ma
"Move your goddamn ass to the kitchen now!" She shouted.
The footsteps halted in their tracks, I could hear the heavy stomping of footsteps at the other end and I knew that they were running back to the kitchen. I stifled with my breath still as Margaret walked pass-through our direction. Pulling my face out of Ryan's clothes, I watched with panic as she walked through the other end and disappeared within the walls of the hallway.
I sighed and quickly distanced myself from Ryan, his almond-black eyes looked down at me hurtfully but I ignored him and ran out of the place.
What happened between Ryan and me shouldn't have happened no matter how good it felt but still, I shouldn't have allowed that. Those sneaky bitches almost caught us if not because of Margaret. I don't think I could be this lucky next time.
